Stayed there over a month ago. Was unhappy with our stay. To keep a long story short...the guy who checked us on wasn’t properly wearing a mask, there were guests walking through the hotel without masks on, paid extra for an upgraded room and was given a room immediately off the front desk that was noisy, and there was a lack of social distancing at the pool (I realize this last one is hard to enforce). When we checked out in the morning, I expressed my concerns to the person at the front desk who was very kind and gracious and appeared to take them seriously. He offered to comp the food and drinks we had ordered the day before at the pool as an apology, which I really appreciated and accepted. Now, 6 weeks later, I see a charge on my card from them. I can only guess it’s for the order they offered to comp. How classy of you to keep my credit card info on file for six weeks and charge me without my knowledge! I have sent two e-mails to them that have gone unanswered and now am disputing the charge with my credit card company. Such great service Silver Lake Pool and Inn, can’t thank you enough for a wonderful stay!

I’ve stayed here 4 or 5 times now. The rooms are decent with nice amenities like their snack bar and fridge. Location is great and convenient. Unfortunately their service is pretty subpar. The last time I went I booked a room online. I got a confirmation email and confirmation number but when I showed up they said they didn’t have a room for me and were all booked up. I had called twice after booking to confirm their hours and they never answered the phone, just kept ringing and ringing. When they told me that they couldn’t accommodate me they didn’t ask me to come back another time and they didn’t help me find a room elsewhere, which was very disappointing. Their offer was that I could stay and use their Wifi and that they’d comp my valet.

I had been here several times with my (white) girlfriends and was warmly welcomed into the pool area and had an amazing time with great service. Came here a few days ago with my black friend and had a very different experience. The second we walked in we were rapidly approached by a woman who very aggressively informed us that the pool was for guests only. She didn't ask us if we were guests but immediately assumed that we couldn't possibly be. We left but I couldn't shake the feeling my friend had been discriminated against so I went back in to talk it out with the manager. When I politely broached the topic with her she began raising her voice at me and became erratic, even shouting at me as I had already tuned to leave. Stay away from this place if you are a POC, the whole interaction felt racially biased.

This hotel looks very nice, but has some issues which are hard to get past. The room itself is set up to be more photogenic than it is practical (huge gap in sliding bathroom door, itty bitty hooks for towels, no place for your luggage so it sits on the floor, towels were all very old and ripped). The larger issue is the service and hospitality. Really felt like the people working in the bar were bothered by our presence and like we were inconveniencing them by ordering anything on the menu. Pool bar never opened during our stay. I also left my bathing suit in the room (100% know i left it) and they “never found it.” Kind of a bummer because it had a lot of potential, just is a bit of a miss.

Silver Lake Pool & Inn saved our family vacation! After rushing out of a horrible house rental, we checked in here for a 3 week stay. I can't say enough great things about our stay. The rooms are fantastic, spacious, well kept and clean. The entire staff were so kind and helpful. Valet parking was quick every-time we needed to access our car. Steps away from erewhon market, with so many great food options. Great location to zoom around the city. Was not the biggest fan of the restaurant marco polo , the manager there was not welcoming to families with small children. Went as far as telling us high chairs we not available at this restaurant, even though the night before we used one.

Chic little charmer of a hotel. Service was excellent. Restaurant was very special, adorable and the food was fantastic. Hot tip: skip Erewhon and have a full breakfast at the hotel, prices were better and the menu was perfect. Try the brûlée grapefruit. Beds are very comfortable, hotel is sparkling clean. The pool area was so much fun. They keep it warm with plenty of seating and a poolside bar. Sunday night was a gathering. If any single guys are looking for a place to meet gorgeous women in their 20s-30s go here on a Sunday night. It’s all women being cute at a cute rooftop pool.

What a fantastic experience. Great vibe, super comfortable space, wonderful service! My husband and I stayed for one evening to have a quick anniversary getaway. Martie went ahead and offered us a complimentary upgrade and upon our arrival had left a beautiful anniversary gift of wine and organic chocolate in our room along with a very thoughtful note. It was so incredibly kind and really set the whole tone for our holiday. The space was very smartly decorated and the pool and restaurant are a lovely space to unwind. Many thanks for a fantastic stay and looking forward to returning.

This hotel is so well done both inside and out all of it's carefully chosen decor to the fun uniforms the very attractive staff wear. The rooms are huge and kept up impeccably everything from the shiny sexy bathrooms to the sassy mini bar which looked after the Mini Bar Valet. The pool is cozy and cute with outside bar that'll keep you feelin really. Marco Polo isnt just a pool game its the name of the hotel's restaurant. Marco Polo is delicious Italian dishes with a soft greek/Mediterranean influence. This will elevate your palate to the next level.. All this comes with a price....but a comfortable price. Just treat yourself.

Exceptional. I stayed here for the last week of my month long trip to visit fam in LA. Location, style & pool were the reason i booked but will stay again bc of the EXCEPTIONAL customer service!!! Every single request i made during my stay was met w friendly & prompt response. They went above & beyond. Everyone who works there deserves a bonus! Rooms were lovely, comfy and stylish. Will tell everyone i know to stay there. Definitely coming back.

Spacious, clean, and well furnished rooms. Limited menu at the restaurant. Check-in was a disaster- apparently the computer wasnt cooperating. The front desk staff failed to offer us the room keys while they sorted out their mess. My credit card was probably ran about 10 different times in 30 minutes. Then the printer did not print out the registration form, so he eventually delivered it to our room for me to sign. The floor lamp in our room didn’t work. I don’t see the value in staying here- the cost and the accommodations are misaligned.

moon made our stay! the overall place was nice. location was great if you want to be in silver lake, but my best experience during our whole trip staying there was during departure early in the morning in the heavy rain. The front desk person - Moon - went above and beyond to help make sure we got to the car easily and dry, helping us down the ramp with our luggage and even holding the umbrella as we got in the car! she went above and beyond and made our stay!

I was served by Neil all night long. I cannot recommend this place enough! Neil served 5* cocktails and gave me the lowdown of what to do in LA. He provided great company for a solo traveller like myself, whilst keeping up with the orders. I would hands down recommend this place to anyone. The rooms are amazing, the pool is perfect and the service is 10/10. Thank you Neil for providing such an amazing and memorable service. I can’t wait to come back!

Nice enough aesthetically, but if you're planning on staying anywhere longer than a night or two, go elsewhere. Bad bed, awkward layout of room (sink in the bedroom, no dresser, low useless chairs) and short bar hours (closed almost every night by 8pm) make this place a pass. Sure if you're trying to snap some IG pics by the pool, go for it. But don't expect to have your minibar or snack area restocked, even if you're there for a week and a half!

The new Silver Lake Pool and Inn is the perfect addition to Palisociety. We stayed during the grand opening weekend and it was such a treat! The staff was extremely welcoming and kind, the mini-bar had an impeccable selection, and the decor was stunning. I love all of the Palisociety hotels but, this little oasis takes the cake as my new favorite. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

SL Pool & Inn is a wonderful hotel if you’re looking for a relaxing stay with a beautiful pool and amazing food! The neighborhood is just 15 minutes from West Hollywood but honestly you could just chill in SL during your whole stay, they have great restaurants and boutiques. We didn’t get to experience the bar scene bc of the COVID. There wasn’t one dish of food that wasn’t superb and so incredibly fresh!! Rooms are roomy and beautifully designed! Bravo

Shame cos it’s trying hard to be cute and in a good location. Room comfortable but had a view of the road, thin walls and the lamp didn’t work. Pool was too cold to swim in, and request to heat it ignored. Restaurant friendly yet somehow managed to ruin simple can’t fail classics. Hotel then tried to charge us an extra half day for a noon checkout. It’s basically an eastside version of the old sunset Standard, minus the character, scene and service.

We loved our stay. The place is very new and in mint condition. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. We went over Thanksgiving weekend and the weather was very cold for L.A so we didn't really use the outside pool or bar (even though they had heaters out,) but we hope to return soon.

Had a great stay here in January, they’d only been open a few months which you can tell but all in all really fantastic. The rooms were amazing, what a view! Make sure you stay on the left side of the hotel as you’re walking down from reception, on an upper floor. Lovely service all round, particularly a nice guy at reception (from Switzerland?! Awful memory) - a massively welcome addition to Silverlake.

We (family with two small kids) had a great stay at the Silver Lake Pool & Inn Hotel. The room was large, very stylishly decorated and clean. We also loved the very friendly staff and their recommendations. Everything you need is within walking distance and parking your car on the street is no problem at all. We highly recommend this place and would come back anytime.

This hotel was a fabulous stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. The food was amazing..it was so good we ended up there more than the spots around town! Order the cucumber salad and the chicken! The pool and service was excellent. I will for sure be staying here again over any other hotel or air bnb in the Silverlake area.

There’s a lot to like about this place from the cool vibe and aesthetic to the good location, but be warned: the walls are paper thin. You will have to endure whatever kind of stay the person in the room next to you is having because you can hear literally everything.

Fantastic new discovery for accommodation on the east side of town (so much so that I don’t want everyone to find out about it!). The style of the rooms is simple but classy, rooms are a good size and the team is incredibly gracious. Will definitely be staying here for all future LA trips for work or play.

Nothing like it on the East side!! This hotel is designed beautifully and the rooms are spacious and have so much incredible charm. The views of the hollywood sign and Griffith are stunning. Must stay.

Very friendly staff and good food. The room was very clean and the cleaning staff was incredible! The hotel was getting worked on during the week and it didn't really bother my stay but it was good to see that management cares about improving the quality of the facilities.
