After ordering Silver Swan for approx 8yrs I can tell you that this Chinese ranks up there with the best Chinese in the country. I've eaten Chinese in Melb, Syd, Bris, at all the Chinatowns, even the one in Adel, but Chinese Swan is the best I have tasted in years. Add to that the friendly service from the phone to the delivery where nothing is touch trouble and Silver Swan, you are on a winner. If I find that for some reason I can't order Silver Swan, I wait until I can. Why waste my money on second rate Chinese when I can get the best at Silver Swan. Keep up the good work. You have a loyal customer in me and I love to tell a lot of people when I think a product and device are good. Your product and service is excellent so its easy for me to promote you. Good and bad! Not sure we'd go again for close to $100 with all the bad. Alright dim sims, decent size with some flavour. Good sweet and sour pork, fair size. Honey chicken flavour was nice but chicken was quite dry, fair size. Steamed dumplings were just average, wouldn't order again. Lacked flavour. Would not pay $8.50 again for their idea of prawn salad, salad tub with 90% lettuce with a handful of prawns on top smeared in generous sauce. Offensive amount of duck in the duck and sprouts, tiny bits in a tub full of sprouts, for $17.50, that was disgusting. Would rather them have rung and said they had no duck.

First time back in Adelaide for 12years and looking forward to Chinese from Silver Swan. How disappointed I was that not only had the original owners had sold up to a younger owners BUT the food was terrible. Special fried rice was dry with about 2peas and 1prawn decoration on top. The Honey prawns were tough and the batter toooo thick and too stodgy and very undercooked. The chicken and sweet corn soup and the combination soup were tasteless and the meal was a total waste of money and time. There must be better food somewhere at a reasonable price. Don't bother with Silver Swan .

What has happened Silver Swan? Have been eating your dim sims for years (remember the big Friday night order from Holden?) Have not had them for about a year and you have changed the recipe (WHY?) They used to be meaty, firm, surrounded in crispy batter and delicious. Now the filling is stodgy and tasteless with very little meat, surrounded by undercooked batter. And the price seems to have gone through the roof, nearly $40 for 3 servings. Sorry you have lost me I won’t be back.

I have been getting food from this place for years...food 5 star..never had a problem with this place until 2nite wed 10th January 2024...rang 2 get food delivery at 8:28pm..no answer rang another 20 times no answer ...looked on website they don't shut till 9pm...so if u open till 9pm y r u shut at 8:30pm..maybe check ya clock..OR update your website...open till 9pm means your open till 9pm..if u stop taking orders at 8:30pm that means u shut at 8:30....THATS HOW IT WORKS IN AUSTRALIA...

This was once one of the best Asian takeaway shops in the north. Must be under new ownership as it has gone down hill real quick. Gluggy fried rice My dogs turned their noses up at the unfinished dimsims. Overcooked honey chicken. This used to be our Saturday night goto but will never order from here again. Have been getting deliveries from them for years. Always been good but last order was terrible so left it alone for a while. I ordered again tonight it was terrible all cold. Prawn omelette 4 prawns curried prawns 4. It was just disgusting. I will never order again.

Got food posining from this place and also took over an hour n half to get meals delivered n when was delivered the food flavours wasnt even there at all what waste of money... never eating there again n plus put me off chinese for awhile...

Decided to order from here based on the good reviews. Extremely disappointed the food was flavourless. Very small portions spent $100 on five different choices we were all still hungry afterwards. Will not be ordering from here again.

Second time ordering from Silver Swan - First order was delivered hot and edible. Tonight's order was delivered late, cold with very little flavor in the dishes. Very unsatisfied with tonight's order!

Ordered special Fried rice and a couple of chicken dishes for some fussy eaters - they were really quick with my order and the food was devoured so was obviously a hit - we will definitely be back!

Sorry wasn't happy at all .. lemon chicken batter was half cooked, hardly any ingredients in spcial fried rice. Thought fried rice was suppose to be fried but was boiled …

Used Menulog to order pick up. Honey chicken and fried rice was excellent. However, the Cantonese Beef was tough and while the sauce was excellent, the meat let the dish down.

Grew up with silver swan and always enjoyed it!! U have to mix it up n try the meals u never order cause u can always be surprised wat else they have to offer!!

Paid $19 for chilli king prawns on for them to be tough and you could taste they had been frozen worst prawns I've ever eaten
