NEVER USE THIS PLACE-- NEVER ---GOOGLE made me select on Star to even post this...but if i had a choice i wouldn't pick one damn star for his location. I'm kicking myself now for NOT reading these reviews before I went this florist. I put in an order for two simple flowers, I was told my order would b ready that Friday at 2 pm. I described exactly what I was looking for and the owner told me exactly what I was getting (which was what I described- two big 5-6 inches across white mum flower -- the real ones, not the silk ones). I told him several times, I wanted the real flower mum with the water vile. He kept trying to get me to NOT get the viles, but I was insistent. When I arrived Friday at 3 pm (a whole hour later than expected). He was with customers so he sent me to ask the ladies down stairs for my flowers. They had no clue what I was talking about. Basically, they did not have my order. He said there was a glitch. NOOOOOO, there was not a glitch, you forgot to put my order in. I was beyond livid. I left work early to pick up this order to be on my side of town by 5 pm. He had the nerve to tell me to calm down and he was going to work on it. He called a different florist who supposedly had my order. He sent one of the ladies to pick them up. I had to wait an additional 1 hour before I got to see any flower. When I returned to the florist, he tried to hand off 4 tiny mum flowers. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME. At this point, 'm angry, my niece's Director's mum is ruined and I have to deal with unhappy drill team because this guy did not put in my order. The mum we worked on all week, was going to look like crap because he promised me 2 big 5-6 inch mums and tried to give me 4 2 inch across mums. SERIOUSLY?? NEVER USE THIS PLACE>>>NEVER. I asked him to give me a partial discount...he said no, I then told him to give me back my $15. SERIOUSLY...I hope you never use this place.

I went on yelp also to review this place poorly because I feel that strongly about it. I don't even like to write reviews. If there was a lower rating for this company than just one star, I would much rather rate it at that. I was so distracted on my wedding day when I found that the flowers that were delivered for my bouquet and the arrangement colors in the rest of the flowers Alex provided were not what I specified. I sent him a power point with all the specific things I needed. I called and talked to him over the phone about it. I showed up in person with the powerpoint printed to give to him. He did not provide what I asked for. I knew he was not listening but at the time I was too busy to do anything about it. I was stuck with this horrible florist. I think that it is one of those things that if you pay a lot of money for flowers you expect that the florist would take a little extra time to at least, AT LEAST do what you ask or even just match the colors you requested. Do not trust this place. Do not risk it. Unless... you like gambling your money on a lost cause. I highly suggest going somewhere else.

Alex designs amazing bouquets and floral arrangements for weddings. During our consultation he showed us hundreds of his designs throughout the years, and he could read my expressions to tell him what I liked and didn't like, so he used that to design my perfect flowers. When he was flipping through pictures I recognized another bride as one of my good friends who got married 5 years earlier in a different city (and I attended that wedding, and caught that bouquet!!), and turns out he was her florist!! I knew I was in good hands when I saw that photo because I was there and saw how beautiful the flowers were in person. I highly recommend this florist, as he is not a person who will take your money and run, he is very trustworthy and honest. He delivers the product he promised to deliver, and he does it with such joy and happiness you can really tell he loves what he does. Thank you so much Alex!!! You made our wedding day absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!

We ordered a succulent planter for my brother's funeral last week from Simply Beautiful and we were "simply" and completely disappointed and embarrassed when this planter was delivered. See the picture. We were told it would cost around $100 and were assured it would be very full. The pot was around 9" in diameter and the ribbon was twice the height of the entire arrangement! The four small succulents were a fraction of the size and number of the example we emailed them as a reference. To top it off, we were charged $150. We felt we had been taken advantage of at a most sorrowful and vulnerable time. When we called to complain, the manager told us that it was a communications issue and that the person who took the order should have talked us out of ordering it. He said succulents are very expensive. Really? The most he would do is take off the $20 service/delivery charge. Buyers beware!

Can’t thank Alex & his staff at Simply Beautiful enough. My family in Houston had a beautiful memorial service for my sister-in-law on Friday (8/19) and since I live in Illinois I was unable to make it with such short notice. I called on Thursday (8/18) just about an hour before closing to see if we can arrange to have flowers delivered. Everything happened so quickly so I was afraid we weren’t going to have enough time to find flowers but Alex assured he could get it done by the next morning. I asked him for a color scheme & price range and he delivered perfectly. The rest of my family here also ordered an arrangement online that Thursday night and they were delivered Friday morning. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You brought something beautiful to our family at such a difficult time.

We are extremely grateful for our delivery driver, Daniel! My husband ordered flowers for me to be delivered during the day. Upon delivery, my dog ran out the door and down the street. I tried to run after him, but couldn’t catch him. I then ran inside to call family members to come look for him since my kids were napping and I couldn’t just leave them. As I was waking them up from their naps to try to find my dog, our delivery driver Daniel knocked on our door and said he got our dog back! We were so incredibly grateful for him! Furthermore, the flowers were beautiful! Highly recommend this company. Their employees 100% go above and beyond.

They advertised free delivery, then charged me $10 for delivery to NOT deliver them to the funeral service! They called me 3 hours later to tell me they were not delivered, but that they could send to next of kin. These were a funeral spray, that is NOT what I want sent to someone's house when they were for the funeral. No refund was offered, but said they would send a different arrangement to the family. $200 to not get what was promised and no refund offered for a service not provided. They spent more time making excuses than making the situation right. STAY AWAY and spend your money with someone who will do the job they are paid for.

I received these flowers on September 13th and this is what they look like today. First , they were no where near what my husband ordered. (See Picture Below) My husband was doing something very nice for me that this company RUINED! Then I asked for a replacement and they said they are supposed to look like that and to "JUST ENJOY THEM." They will last!!! Day 2 and they are sadder then me :/ I honestly don't know how this company is still in business. Do not buy from them and spend your money somewhere else. FYI Seems as though my pictures wont upload but they are some sad looking flowers. LOL

I cannot comment on whether the flowers were beautiful... or even whether they were made or not, because I never saw them. I ordered these flowers from out-of-state for a local funeral, and I had specifically asked for a photo of the arrangement with special wording. Never got the picture. The excuse provided was the driver was in a hurry and forgot. Well, you could have gone back to get me a photo. I can only hope that the family did get the flowers, and that I did not get scammed $150+.

My best friend passed away June 13. I went into their shop on June 18. I told them I wanted to spend a certain dollar amont and I did. Also the flowers they chose were beautiful. I wanted to write a personal note on the card I needed help because I was still so upset with my friend passing that they copied what I wrote down and put that on the card for me. Honestly anybody who says anything bad about Alex is bad is probably just upset with their life! I called in to inquire about a little bundle of fresh flowers. The gentleman was very attentive and even offered to order what he didn't have in stock. I went right over. He showed me around and arranged the beautiful bunch shown below! And I will say they smell amazing !!! Very good customer service snd very friendly staff will return - thank you !

Ordered flowers on Thurs,July 14th.Driver had incorrect address.I was called on the 15th,correct address was given.As of Monday,18th,no delivery had been made.Called back on the 20th,This was the scheduled delivery day.I don't understand why the order was to be delivered FIVE days after the correct address was given.

Walked in, because of the cake shop around the corner. I was getting married, and needed a florist. Alex and staff were busy, but we only waited a minute and they were super helpful, wound up getting all of our business without a second guess. Met our budget, and made my new wife and mother in law very happy.

Gorgeous bouquets every time! Very reasonably priced too! First used Simply Beautiful for my wedding, and the bouquets, boutonnieres, table arrangements and corsages were so gorgeous, I have since used several times for other occasions and have had my expectations exceeded every time.
