Located on the main Elm avenue and not far from Cooks' Cottage, you'll find Sinclair's Cottage, named after James Sinclair who was head gardener in Fitzroy Gardens during the 1860's and 70's. It was originally built in 1866 and was used as a residence by caretakers and gardeners until the 1990s and then from September 2001 it was used a the Fitzroy Gardens Information Centre until construction of the current Visitor Centre was completed and opened on 11 February 2015. Since then, Sinclair's Cottage has been used by the Fitzroy Gardens as an Administrative office. The impressive single story cottage was built of polychrome brick and designed in an Italian pattern book style with large overhanging eaves, two feature chimneys and gabled front entrance porch with characteristic arches. It's set in a spectacular garden setting and while it's not as well known as Cooks' Cottage, as you can see from the photos here, it's larger than Captain Cook's Cottage and is quite impressive in this garden setting. It's well worth visiting.
Little old cottage in the middle of the fitzroy garden. You can take a little walk around the gardens however minimal signage did make you feel like you were intruding somewhat. The actual cottage itself is closed and you are not allowed inside which is a shame.

A small cottage and a point of interest when visiting Fitzroy Gardens. The cottage itself is closed, but you can walk around the grounds through the narrow garden gate. Located not far form Cooks' Cottage on the main Elm Avenue. Sinclair's Cottage was named after James Sinclair, who was the head gardener in Fitzroy Gardens during the 1860s and 70's.
A very old cottage close to Cook's Cottage. It looks a bit smaller but is surrounded by a lot more trees and plants. You are able to walk into the lawn but can't go inside.
A point of interest, but nothing much to see, basically a small cottage in the gardens. The cottage itself is closed.
