"I am currently in year 6 at this school, so far it has been an okay experience"
"We applied for our child there, despite the facts the campus is so small with limited playing areas and they charge higher fees compared to other independent schools; unfortunately, We had a frustrating experience applying for foundation year and we were surprised when they sent a questionnaire expecting 4 years to know letters, numbers and distinguish between capital and small letters and to write their address"
"WARNING: DON'T BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE! Very Bad School"
"I’m Muslim & I would rather send my kids to a catholic school"
"Not worth the high price for secondary"
I am currently in year 6 at this school, so far it has been an okay experience. I started last year and all the students were completely welcoming. Although, it was hard to pick out a friend who was actually serious and had great qualities. I did find many and they were great people. I came here because most of my relatives were here and were enjoying it. I also heard about the scholarship test and saw it as a great opportunity, so I stepped up. At first it was hard to adapt to this type of environment as I used to go to a public school and have never experienced a private school before. It took some time to get used to their lifestyle. The education is fine, however, it really depends on your teacher and how they teach you. I came here because I wanted to get a better education and it's working. The staff is really nice and welcoming. The uniform is superior as well. The teachers are very motivating and cooperative. There may be a few misbehaving students which will take time to get used to. I'm socially awkward so if I ever saw a misbehaving student I'd always be scared to approach them, instead I would just tell a teacher. Just one thing they could improve on is just reducing the canteen prices, I feel it's really expensive plus with all the fees are parents are paying, it's just too costly. Overall, it's a prominent school and you should consider going. :^>
We applied for our child there, despite the facts the campus is so small with limited playing areas and they charge higher fees compared to other independent schools; unfortunately, We had a frustrating experience applying for foundation year and we were surprised when they sent a questionnaire expecting 4 years to know letters, numbers and distinguish between capital and small letters and to write their address. We thought kids go to school to learn these stuff. They organise an entrance exam for the kid by him/herself only without parental supervision and they never tell you what this exam about or how they pick-up the student or their selection criteria. They didn't bother talking to us about the education system or the facilities and what we should expect from them compared to BMG or AIA. We ended up putting him in a government school which has a better rating, we will save this annual fee we supposed to pay for him in a private school in a bank account to help him with university or even to open his own business when he grows up. In summary, Highly overrated and not recommended
WARNING: DON'T BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE! Very Bad School.. Teachers are very rude, office lady [MS. MARZIAH]. are all very offensive Most teachers don't even know how to speak English properly, my son in grade 4 is his first year and last. The outside may look different but inside it, its the worst ever. There have lots of bullies here. My son said they get in groups (gangs) and bash people up and bully you and very racist. I don't think there is a school badder than this. No wonder why only 300 stupid people come and this school is P-10, serious... The other day my son had a incursion. The teachers from incursion went to office with him, and after they went back, the teacher said 'how rude are people in your school, I think only dum people learn here, I wouldn't come to this school myself'. Shame of the school even other people say this. It's basically like olden days school, you can't speak or get up, some teachers nearly hit you because of their anger management.
I’m Muslim & I would rather send my kids to a catholic school. Staff a arrogant beyond means at this campus. I told my friends not to send her their none Muslim kids to this school because they will get bullied by radical kids that only learn life from arrogant parents. A private school is there to teach your kids how to be stand up future citizens that will make society better but apart from the sub par education at this school your definitely don’t get anywhere near your moneys worth. Up to you if you want to throw away money but I’m happy I didn’t send my kids here.
Not worth the high price for secondary. VCE here isn't great (other campuses are way better than this campus). Don't think this is a private school with lots of facilities. This place looks is like Suzzanne cory but just worse. Send you child to selective schools or get a scholarship for a private school by atleast before VCE starts. Even al-taqwa is cheaper and at this stage is better than this campus. Primary is education is really good but Al-taqwa is better.
This is a very good school as part of the other campuses in Melbourne. It has grown from strength to strength and have a high focus on providing excellent education and learning opportunities for students. It has a diverse range of subjects with close knit environment and good rapport between students and teachers. Highly recommended if you are after a balanced and enriching education experience. The majority of the genuine reviews here speak for themselves.
It is an institution where great efforts are made to ensure that the quality of education is as important as the quality of education, so that children can be successful in social life, after high school, and in their later years. It is much more successful than similar schools.
Three of my children are studying in Sirius College. I have a wonderful experience as it offers a very decent environment to its students. Teachers are highly professional and dedicated. Students are well mannered. Overall I am quite satisfied and recommend for others also.
