Absolutely abysmal and unprofessional service. The dispatcher is a clueless simpleton and the drivers represent the utter dregs of humanity. This is the epitome of third world service. ZERO stars would be most appropriate. I hope ride share services like Uber or Lyft utterly destroy this business, leaving the drivers begging for monetary compensation from government social services. We ordered a cab on Father's day to visit my deceased parent at Maple Grove which was closing at 6pm. It took several calls to dispatcher to finally get a driver to show up after 30 minutes. When he does, he pulls up to the curb and quickly drives off for no apparent reason. After another call to the dispatcher, explaining the situation, another cab was dispatched. No explanation was given for the rude and non-courteous behavior by the previous moronic driver. We finally get to the cemetery with roughly 15 minutes to spare before closing. The second driver failed to follow directions and did not enter the correct gate which was CLOSE to the plot. Instead, he decides to go all the way around to the main gate wasting even more time, before having to circle back to the correct entrance which we originally passed. The WORST cab service ever experienced. Ruined a sentimental day and caused additional undue stress and annoyance. NEVER use this livery cab service! Go UBER and the like and put these third rate, low class, uncouth and unprofessional peasants OUT of business. Instead of "Skyway" the name could use a more appropriate and fitting moniker which aptly describes the service. "Shyteway" seems more fitting.

Tried Skyway after a good experience just hailing one of their a Green taxi in Queens. Figured I'd throw a smaller business some money instead of supporting Uber/Lyft by calling them to my apartment. Wrong move. The dispatcher was rude, never called me to let me know the taxi was outside (despite him saying he would) and never told me the price. When I found out the price was almost double what Uber charges, the driver was courteous and offered to reduce the price to something more reasonable. I offered to just leave the car and find my own way, but he insisted. What he didn't tell me is that pick-ups are a cash-only business. When we arrived at my destination, he started berating me when I tried to pay with credit. I ended up having to wait on line at the bank for 20 minutes while fending off angry calls from his dispatcher. Terrible service. Would give zero stars if I could.

This is the worst car service ever. I’ve had 2 bad experiences less than 24 hours. The cars came 2 hours late once we got off the plane. No car is labeled. You don’t know which car is the sky way service. The employees are not wearing any type of clothing that says sky way it’s very confusing. The lady who answers the phone is very rude and kept Lying to us. Lied 2x and said the driver was getting off the freeyway and he never came. I called multiple times because we had a flight that was coming up very soon. Ended up missing the flight. The lady was very rude and nasty on the phone she hung up on me once. Then once I called back she continued to be rude and said “well I don’t know what to tell you” Not accommodating at all. I won’t ever recommend this car service ever. If i could give less than zero i would. Their phone operator is one of most rude people you will encounter. This is the service that AA uses when they cancel flights. They take forever to get to the airport, they made me wait for over 20 min and decided to take a taxi that was readily available. Had a voucher from AA to go back to airport ans i had to use them. I called them the next morning at 7.14 am to book a car for 5.30 pm that day. My new Flight was at 8 pm. Called to confirm at 4 pm. They confirmed. At 5 they called me and said they wouldn’t be able to pick me up until 6.15 pm. The man in the phone, another horrible human being. Worse service ever. If you want to get to the airport, or anywhere, download Uber. No wonder these type of companies are going out of business

Ive been a everyday rider for the past 3 months never once have i had a problem.. i love the morning dispatcher he knows how to do his job..but this evenings dispachter was unbelievable i call for a service for my kid to come to my destination and obviously I will be paying when he get there since its at 10:00pm.. and driver had the audacity to leave my child in the street because he didn't have no money, a cab driver no matter who it is. under no circumstances is suppse to ask for money before you reach your destination..this is suppose to be a trust worthy service and to leave my child in the street was unacceptable never will i call this base again...

Awful experience. I was assaulted as i sat in their vehicle at JFK at night. The driver left the window open which allowed a random person to yell and spit in my face. When I called to report the incident to their customer support i was told it was not their responsibility to keep me safe. The woman on the phone shared their driver noticed w random man pacing the terminal before my pick up (yet the window was left open and door was unlocked) and it was not their problem what occurred. She then hung on me multiple times and told me to take it up with American Airlines. Young women traveling alone please beware! I’m lucky i was not trafficked.

Very rude and unprofessional. Driver was trying to get two different riders ride together because we’re going to the same direction. When we both refused, he tried to talk request me if I can cooperate. I was like why should I cooperate. Drivers name is Rakesh Talwar. And while driving me home, he kept using his phone talking to his family and very unfocused on his driving. AA should change their company. I feel safe riding with Uber/Lyft than riding with this company. Would not recommend this company at all!

My flight got cancelled and I was given a voucher to take me to LGA airport, I had some trouble finding the pickup spot so I called the dispatch and he told me to go to door "f" of JFK airport, after waitinwaiting ten minutes the shuttle arrived and got me to LGA in 20 minutes, nice guy, fast and efficient driving.got me to LGA in time for my flight

This car service so far has always tried to satisfy me as a customer,which I so appreciate!! Even when they are very busy they get a car to me sooner than they even say they will.the cars are older,but a very comfy ride which is a major plus for me!!the drivers are also very friendly and know where they are going.overall excellent experience.

After looking at the reviews, I was hesitant to use this car service. I am glad I trusted my brother more than the reviews. Seth, the driver, arrived early. He was friendly, and I felt comfortable and safe as he drove me to the airport. The price was competitive. Overall this was a great experience- from booking till arrival at the airport.

Absolutely horrible company! We have tried to use this service twice. The first time they never showed up and we ended up using an Uber. The 2nd time American Airlines arranged for us and we waited 1.5 hours for a ride to our hotel and to top it off the driver was rude. Take an Uber instead! Way more reliable than this company!

I use them for the airport and school run on occasion. Mostly professional drivers. Have had one or two bad apples but the rest have been great. They know the area (Kew Gardens, Forest Hills, Jamaica). Usually on time during off-peak and for airport runs. Challenges during peak time and when it rains.

The dispatcher was extremely rude. She hang up on my call, just because I called to ask if the plate of the car that was picking us up from the airport belonged to the company, as it had absolutely no sign at all related to the company. The driver was great though, polite, car clean, etc

The dispatcher was very professional and understanding. I had some special accommodations to work out that were outside their typical way of doing things, and it went very smoothly. Driver showed up on time, and everything was as perfect as it could have been. I would use them again.

I spoke to two operators on the phone there. Neither one understood the directions I gave them, so they hung up on me. They also had been going to charge me $50 for a ride that another car service wound up doing for $22.50. AVOID.

We had a flight delay at the airport, and skyway was the service that they used. A driver was extremely rude outside of not picking us up. As of writing this it has been an hour and a half even though we were told twenty minutes.

Taxi driver quoted price that was too high. Called dispatcher and the price was actually $6 lower than quoted price. Then when we reached the destination he again raised the price. Mark the dispatcher was completely unhelpful.

They picked me from the airport. No issues. Drive was very respectable. As well, not a crazy driver. Very good experience. Price is pretty much in line with uber and lfyt.

When I travel far or I know I am going to hit traffic the flat fees work so much better than Uber and Lyft. Use Skyway Car Service. Better rates than most Taxi services.
