Overall great, minus some small details. The overall experience was lovely. The front desk assistant helped us change into our PPE, and explained directions and instructions to us. There was a lot of things to smash and a newly installed smash wall into the rooms. The armory was a bit beat up but that's to be expected. My baseball bat was so dented that I could see inside it but I guess that means it was well used. My major complaint is the sizes of the PPE. I am a small individual at 5'1 but my friend is 5'10 at least. For me, the jumpsuit felt like an extra large when I fit in medium to small clothes. I was swimmimg in the suit. I had to wear my friend's belt to keep it up and I rolled the pants and sleeves up three times. The jumpsuit was large on my friend as well but because he is taller it was manageable. The helmets, I had the same problem. They were all the same size and I have a very small head. I tightened the protective hat as small as it would go and I still slid down my head. The gloves were average gardening gloves and a piece of glass went through my friend's glove and nicked his skin. It wasn't too bad and they had band-aids. 30 min is more than enough time to enjoy smashing and we got a lot of energy out. You could connect your phones to a Bluetooth speaker and jam while smashing. Overall great experience aside from the hugely large PPE. My only suggestion to them is to invest in more or better sizes to be more inclusive.

Generally satisfying, but here are some points that need to be improved: 1. Lack of protective equipment for shorter/smaller people. Safety goggles are not enough when you are smashing glass that can splinter and hit your face. There needs to be more sizes of the face shields. The same goes for the overalls. The "small" size offered to my wife was still very large. 2. the baseball bats in the room were in pretty rough shape and felt like they were going to break. I understand this is going to happen, but it also means that the tools that people are using to smash need to be replaced regularly. 3. Glass objects that splinter into tiny shards pose a safety risk that is unnecessary for the purpose of smashing. Maybe skip on the type of glass that shatters that way. Ceramics and glass that breaks into larger and thicker chunks are better as there is no risk of them piercing through the overalls or getting in your hair (this happened and was NOT pleasant).

Would not recommend. The guy at the front desk was not welcoming at all. We got there 8 minutes late because of traffic and roads closure, the guy never told us that our 30 minutes has started at the time our reservation was made so that we took our time to fill the waving form, put on the safety gear, ect. After 15 minutes in the room (when we paid for the biggest package) he came into the room to say that our time was over and that the timer started at the time our reservation were made. I get that we were late but it would have been nice to know that before filling the forms and stuff so we could have hurried. I asked if we could have like a 2 minutes just the smash the rest of our stuff (the basket was still full of untouched items) he said no because someone was waiting for our rooms. On our way out we were alone, all the other rooms were empty, one lady was filling forms at the front desk but thats it. Very, very bad experience.

After I was informed that I’d have to reschedule my activity do to bad weather, I tried rescheduling multiple times, but each time, they either didn’t respond or responded way too late. I eventually decided to just ask to cancel as I no longer had to time to go to the activity, asking for a refund. No response. I’ve called and emailed several times, trying to contact several of their emails, and the only response I got was that the person who finally saw my email would transfer it to the main account so that I could get my money back. I’m still hoping I eventually get the refund, but I received the email about the transfer at least a couple of weeks ago, so it’s taking a very long time if I ever do get refunded. Very frustrating. Update: I guess I’m not getting refunded. They’ve stopped replying altogether. Don’t waste your money like I did

The place was a garbage! It looks like everything they got was free from a junk yard and they make you pay $30-$40pp to smash a tiny little basket of items not even a size of a crate, you could smash everything in 5 mins. The safety gear didn’t even fit, all the visors were adjustable but were all broken so everytime you would try to smash something, your helmet would fly off. The staff was nice but organization, terrible. You have to book and pay everything online and no one replies to emails even when the staff advises you to email if you need to cancel, reschedule, or adjust a time. Staff is there only to set up and clean rooms but anything else you need assistance with is nowhere. I would NOT recommend this place at all, it does not look like the pictures shown or if it did.. it doesn’t anymore.

Wowww! What else can I say about the Smash Room Ottawa! Finally something new and different to do for a night out in Ottawa. We had a great experience there the wife and I on our date night. The staff there are amazing, friendly and all about customer service and customer satisfaction I can honestly say they deserve the 5 star! It was a new experience for me/us, I mean WHERE ELSE CAN YOU GO AND CAUSE TOTAL MASSIVE DESTRUCTION with no real consequences lolhaha. You even get to play your own music right from your favorite play list if you choose to connect to their Bluetooth speakers while you smash away for fun or stress relief!!! Definitely worth checking out for ANGER MANAGEMENT, Stress relief or just a good old simple fun time lolhaha #lovedit!

On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it a 5. I found the room small for two persons. Some of the items in the tote box were already broken so it took away from the excitement of smashing a wine glass. Would be nice to have some music already in the room. It was a different experience but not sure if I would do it again. It took the two of us 15 minutes or so to smash all of the items. Not sure if we were too fast or had alot of pent up anger lol Its a great idea actually but the price I paid is questionable for the time. All in all I would not say NO don't try it because I think everyone should. Its a safe place to smash stuff whereas I have a few things at home I could get rid of on a rock. Personnel were very friendly and courteous. Good luck

Very fun way to release stress and further about responsible behavior haha. We went as a group of 4. Bluetooth speaker in the room for you to use. Our package and extras for us glass bottles, some garage sale doo dad's, 2 laptops, printer and a box of stuff from home we brought to smesh. Tools given were bat, pan, golf club, hockey stick, bowling pin, large wrench, tire iron, mini sledge and we paid extra for a full sledgehammer. Staff was really nice. Clean gloves provided. Face shields in decent enough condition. New disposable jumpsuits provided. It can get hot with the extra layers. I do remember the AC doing it's job. The room we got was pretty beat up but it provided good ambiance :) really enjoyed my time there. Thanks to the staff!

This was SUCH A COOL EXPERIENCE and worth every penny! I visited over the weekend for my birthday and had a riot smashing a ton of stuff up with a variety of weapons/instruments to choose from. We threw some stuff around and get out some pent up aggression. We were able to play our own music for the half hour we were in there and paid extra to add a television to the mix: 10/10 would recommend. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves and were comfortable and safe. They even took an old coffee maker off our hands after the session for someone else to have the joy of smashing. Lots of parking outside and such a unique way to spend some time with friends or family and let out your inner beast!

  • Alexandra

The experience was fun but the staff... When we arrived they were blasting loud music inside and chatting together and it definitely felt like we were bothering them. They pulled out wavers without explaining anything, then told us to go and read the signs on the wall to figure out how to pick out our jumpsuits. No help at all. Afterwards the girl took us to the room, took about 5 seconds to explain the rules and left. The music they were playing was so loud we couldn't even hear our own music in the room. When we were done we waited at the front desk just to make sure that everything was ok for us to leave but they were no where to be found so we just left. All in all 5/5 for the thrill of smashing things, 0/5 for the staff.

I booked this online for four people, a few days in advance. I ended up needing to cancel my booking due to scheduling issues with my group, still several days in advance (my booking was on a saturday - i began trying to contact them to cancel on thursday). I tried calling several times to no avail, there was not even a voicemail, the phone would just ring for a few minutes. I also tried emailing twice, and I never got a response. After my booking had already happened, I got an email asking how my experience going there was. It is clear that they do not have someone monitoring bookings, and I have still yet to contact them to get my money back for a booking that I could not attend and tried several times to cancel.

We had John, one of the owners of Smash Room Ottawa, at our garage sale this past summer. He was explaining the concept of Smash Room Ottawa after buying a few things for their inventory. We decided to check them out. We were looking for something different to do on a Saturday night and remembered these guys. So happy we did! It was an amazing experience. There is something about smashing glasses and plates. You almost feel defiant; like you’re breaking the rules. We had a great time. John was our Guide (as he put it). He is very sociable and a real pleasure to deal with. We cannot wait to go back. If you’re looking for fun things to do in Ottawa, give this a go. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks SRO.

  • Jessica Rochon

This was SUCH fun! We did a two person smash. The room is tiny so I wouldn't suggest doing more people than that. They gave us all the protective gear we needed and the sizes were super inclusive! The room had a Bluetooth speaker but we couldn't get it working and didn't want to waste our time setting it up. It would be nice if they give you a minute or two in the room before starting the timer or just have general music playing over a speaker for the whole place. We really enjoyed smashing the stereo rather than the glass objects. The Armory has lots of super heavy weapons which seem a bit daunting at first (crow bar, bowling pin on a rope, metal pipe) but they were sooooo satisfying to use!

  • Kristina

Bluetooth speaker, timer provided, protective gear included, big variety of weapons to choose from. Room are properly sanitized. Paid extra for a sledgehammer and to bring an old broken xbox. Tips for new smashers: - Wear heavy, steel toe or Timberland boots. Debris can damage sneakers. Flats, heels and sandals are really not safe. - Bring a water bottle with you because you’ll get hot with the protective gear on. - Prepare your ideal playlist before arriving to your session or you’ll lose a good 5 minutes of your smashing time to find songs to play. As someone who has problems dealing with stress, this place really hit the spot. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

  • Christine Young

My girlfriend and I were super stoked to go there! So we booked online. Unfortunately a family emergency came up prior to the day we booked so we notified them several days prior that we would be unable to make it that day and would like to rebook for another day........Nothing........... She has called REPEATEDLY to rebook, she has messaged through the website REPEATEDLY to rebook, I have messaged through Facebook and no one has had the courtesy to call her back. They have been kind enough to charge her credit card for the visit that we did not have though. So thank you for the incredible service Smash Room! I'm super impressed. Your customer service is fantastic.

My teenage boys had a great time. Booked it for my son's 18th birthday. Due to COVID and not being able to celebrate big, I thought why not give him something to smash and release his stress. It worked well and they even had pieces in their clothing when they came back. I would recommend maybe some option to purchase pictures in motion as a memory? As well, due to the dust and particles flying around, especially glass, staff should advise individuals to cover their faces with a mask and not just the visor. Had I been there with my boys, I would have made them cover their faces for safety but being teenagers, they of course didn't think of it.

  • Martin Gauthier

The only thing I could see that wasn't great because I had the biggest package deal of four people. Is that there was never enough stuff to break, I don't even think we got the amount that was describe on the website, we were done way before 30 minutes for the price I paid I thought we would have a lot more stuff to break. But everything else was great the presentation, the welcome, the safety equipment and it's always fun to break things. The little items were funnier to break than the big items, the big item was too easy they shattered right away. The VCR was a blast to smash over and over again.Try it out I'm sure you're going to have fun

  • N W

I was surprised and disappointed being the nature of the business is to smash to be told that I am being charged for the plastic bin being hit....why not remove rhe bin from the room? Then to tell me a hole in the ceiling was made worse. We should have been allowed to take before and after pictures or do an inspection together like you do for a car rental. Then to say they were gonna charge me 250$ but they were nice enough to charge me just 100$. I understand certain rules need to be in place for safety and all but how do you expect no damage when 4 people are in a small room with crow bars and bowling pins? What a shock!!! Not impressed.

  • Emily Zecchino

Although the smashroom experience was exhilarating and an awesome way to relieve stress.. the extra smash bucket we purchased was full of miscellaneous porcelain items. When we smashed it with the sledge hammer it created an irritating dust that filled the small room and made it very difficult for the four of us to breath comfortably and left us feeling extremely uncomfortable in the throat. We are not very pleased that the extra items we paid for were clearly made of harmful materials that really should have never ended up in a smash room bucket. Fun experience but the side effects from the dust... not so much.

  • ShuLing St.Clair

I was a little scared to book here at first given the most recent reviews. However, overall my partner and I had a good time. Staff did not always wear masks correctly, however we were socially distant. Staff all were nice (there were reviews that staff were mean). Our host even threw in an extra hammer for free which was super kind of her. They have a speaker so youre able to play music off your phone which was a nice touch. Over all very fun, even in a group of 2 the room was a little small (we had to stand in a corner while the person smashed) so groups of 3 might find it too tight.

  • Dave Kahler

It's a great concept, but fails to deliver on its claims. Over 100.00 for 4 people to spend a few minutes smashing up a small basket of glass trinkets. Supposed to have medium and one 'bonus large item' that was just a small glass light fixture. For this to work there would need to be something that could take a few hits. Vacuum, furniture, television. Instead it's just old ceramic mugs and glasses with kids writing on them. I get that the fee is for staff and cleanup, but there would need to be 4x the items to be worth the cost. 'Fun' but not worth a second trip. Too bad.

  • Tressa Bickerton

THIS WAS A BLAST ! Honestly I’m so happy I booked. I booked for my friends birthday and she had a great time. It’s a work out, it’s fun, and it a great way to release pent up frustration. The staff was great. I 100% recommend it. The one and only thing I would say is I wish there were more big things in the package because those were amazingly fun to smash. We did bring our own stuff to break as well so that was great and really filled in the time for us. So all that to say if you are reading through reviews DO IT!

  • Melissa Elbeck

The team was great! Admin was spectacular and made sure my kids listened to ALL of the rules. The dude who brought us our jumpsuits got all of our sizes right first try. He must be a genius because as a larger lady I was dreading getting something too small and having an awkward “I need a bigger size” talk. Very pro! Very good sanitation procedures and safety precautions. We had an amazing time and will be returning! Only negative was that the Bluetooth speaker wouldn’t work but we just played music on our phones.

  • Matt Cox

You might doubt yourself on the fun that you'll have here. It is fun. And simple. reserve a spot online, choose things like printers and laptops and sledgehammers you want to crush them. Them enjoy it. They give protective equipment- gloves coveralls and face shields, and you get bats, pry bars, etc to bash things. we did baseball with coffee mugs and had a blast. bring your phone so you can connect to the bluetooth speakers they provide and consider playing rage against the machine during your session. fun stuff

  • C Smitty

My wife and I went to Smash Room for a date night. It was fantastic! The staff were very nice. I felt like 30 minutes was a great amount of time and we were exhausted at the end. I paid $10 extra to be able to smash a printer, lets say it was awesome! My only point of mention is that my wife had two jumpsuits given to her with broken zippers but 3rd time was the charm. I would suggest they dispose of those jumpsuits or get the zippers fixed. Otherwise an amazing experience. I would go back!

  • sabrina mayer

Highly recommend! Smash Room is an excellent place to relieve stress. You are provided with a jumper, gloves, and a face shield. There are many weapons to choose from (bat, sledge hammer, golf club, frying pan, bowling pin, jumbo wrench, and crowbar). 30 minutes is plenty of time to destroy items, getting you a good workout. I highly recommend wearing pants, items will hit the jumper but I saw a girl in shorts who was bleeding so that extra layer is for protection. Staff is very friendly!

  • iwokeupugly

What an amazing rush it was to Smash to my hearts content at Smashroom Ottawa. It is an awesome venue. Very clean and professional setting. You feel like you are at the doctors office until it is time to smash. The guys who work there are amazing. They took the time to explain everything to our group and made it a unique and safe experience. We were blown away by the neat stuff they let us smash. I am going to buy a membership. And use it as a stress maintenance plan. Marley

  • Susie Young

I love this place, I do find it a little pricey for the amount that you get. 80 bucks for two people for a half an hour but we really took our time and we still smashed everything in 11 minutes so that's a little disappointing also the utter lack of variety. I smashed four of the same mugs and then four of the same plates and four of the same cups a little variety and weight and thickness of glass and porcelain would have been nice but otherwise it was a great time.

  • Trinity Noble

Took my girl friend there for a 30min 2-person de-stress session. Happy to say we will be making this a monthly girls outing. LOL Staff were great, friendly, quick to get us started. Great variety of smashing tools available! Highly recommend booking a sledgehammer and everyone needs to smash a printer, every time. Love that you have the option to hook up our music to the speaker. Definitely worth doing! Basically therapy. lol. Looking forward to coming back.

  • Laura Ferry

Initially booked this experience for 2022 but this was cancelled by them due to Covid. Was told the purchase was valid for whenever I wanted to go. Went to book it a month ago. Had an initial email back about the times available and then was completely ghosted by them. Have emailed now around 4 times and no reply! Can only assume they figure seeing as I can no longer pursue a chargeback with my cc company that they don't feel the need to honor the purchase.

  • Zoe Carriere

We had a great time. Super friendly staff and a nice location. We only had two complaints. First, we were done within 10 minutes and spent the other 20 minutes making piles of already smashed glass. Second, the quad core package was supposed to include one extra large item that we weren't provided. When I asked about it, I was told that the serving platter we got was the larger item. That was a bit disappointing. I think we might try bringing our own stuff

  • DH W

Pretty much as advertised, but a couple of points. 1. bring some of your own, preferably harder to break stuff like old electronics, etc. The plates etc. that are provided are blown through quickly. 2. Sledgehammers are apparently extra. That's probably on the website, but I was underwhelmed by the "standard" implements of destruction. My daughter had a good time overall, but it's pricey for what is provided vs. time it takes to smash what's provided.

  • Lianne Lalonde

First time here was amazing!! Fair price for the experience. Loved that I could connect my own music and just unwind and and take out my frustrations on things that I didn't need to clean up after! Love that they recycle everything afterwards! Definitely recommend good shoes as you end up walking on broken stuff after awhile... 5 stars from me and the boyfriend! Will return in the near future to blow some more steam!!

  • Michelle Ashleigh Mclean

I have been waiting for a smash/rage room to come to Ottawa for several years. My friends took me to this one for my 43rd birthday and it was everything I wanted it to be!!! We got a great selection of items. Great variety of weapons. I would have liked to have had the ability to choose a few of the items I got to smash. But even without that it was amazing fun and fantastic release of energy!

  • Liliane Hajjar

Love the concept! Staff was amazing. Great selection of ‘smashing tools’. The only thing was wishing there were a few more and bigger items as we were four in the room and I would definitely suggest they offer safety glasses or let the customers know that they should bring a pair. Face shield is not enough in my opinion. Otherwise it was a really fun experience!! Will definitely go back. :)

  • ChrisYVR VANcruiser

we loved it! :P we would suggest having a 30 mins music playlist set up in advance to play your favourite smashing music, We would also recommend wearing any kind of construction boots with protective sole if you have! but overall strongly recommend it! Next time we will buy the vehicle door to smash more. A shovel would be great to push away the broken stuff in a corner of the room

  • Dan Extence

Amazing activity that's tucked away in Ottawa and deserves alot of attention. The owner was down to earth and easy going making the the day quite fun and special. Couldn't recommend this place enough to anyone looking for something different to do, or need to get some stress out! Prices are more than reasonable and there's a nice selection of "tools" to get the job done!

  • Blake K.

What a great time! I came with a friend for her birthday and by special request, John personalized the room for us. He went so far as to write happy birthday on the laptop screen and wrap a ceramic vase in birthday wrapping paper. We could listen to angsty music from early 2000s with their Bluetooth speaker in the room. All the small details made this a memorable time.

  • Jo-Jo Nash

Bought a quad package and an extra box of items to smash. The room was far too small for 4 people to freely swing without hitting each other so we all had to stand back as one person smashed stuff. Even then you couldn't really fully swing. Was supposed to get extra large item...never saw anything that was identified on their list as extra large. Super disappointed!

  • Samantha Fleury

Fantastic experience! The staff were absolutely amazing! Super kind and helpful. There were four of us and we were provided exactly enough stuff to smash to keep us going for our allotted time. Only thing to note, ensure you get there before your time starts so you have time to get suited up and sign the waiver. Otherwise it cuts into your smashing time.

  • Sierra Bilodeau

This was an incredible, personalized, fun and hella stress relieving experience and the best date night I’ve had in a LOOONG time! The staff was super friendly and helpful and I can’t wait to go back! Great setting, very clean (until all the smashing was over of course) and the perfect place to really relieve all that tension and stress! What a great time!

  • Sanden McNally

Staff were awesome but I really would find it hard to justify dropping $100 on this again. The room as mentioned is way too small for 4 people. There was no extra large item or even the right number of medium ones. So they gave us an extra bin of glasses but that's not as fun. We were done very quickly and searching the room for anything left to smash.

  • Ryan Senack

We had a lot of fun in our smash room! Staff was friendly and helpful. We were given coveralls, gloves and a face shield which was all included in the price. There was a Bluetooth speak in the room we could play our own music on too! We added a printed for $10 which was well worth it. We will be going back again to smash something bigger next time :)

  • Court ney

A great date night! It's fun, its therapeutic. I suggest adding a few more things when you go or bringing your own for a small fee. 30mins of smashing doesn't sound like a lot, but we didn't need the entire 30mins. I also suggest going AFTER you had dinner or don't make plans for after because you'll feel a bit dusty and dirty! We will go again!

  • Lesslee

I brought my kiddos with me. We had a lot of fun getting our Covid stress out. We brought a few electronics from home and dishes that haven't been used in years. It was very satisfying to use a bat to smash the computer that use to freeze and annoy me. I highly recommend checking it out if you are in the mood to get your frustrations out.

  • Taylor Trott

Just a unique experience that you can't get anywhere else in Ottawa. They give you 5 or 6 different things to smash with but you might go through your items quicker than you think. It took 2 of us 15 minutes, so it's a quick process but it's very fun. You can purchase extras but it does cost quite a bit compared to the initial package.

  • James Bond

Had a great time smashing random stuff. Staff was pleasant and took care of my mom when she had to leave the room because it got too hot for her. They even offered her a bottle of water which was thoughtful. I would of liked a bit more stuff to break so the next time I take my son, we will conquer the quad package as a duo.

  • Laurianne Bryant

Very happy with me and my friends experience here. The people who were working were good at explaining everything, very pleasant. The whole vibe was 10/10 and we had so much fun. Wear close toed shoes!!! And probably not the place to wear a dress or anything like that as you put a whole suit on you over top your clothes.

  • Corey Lecours

Friendly staff with great service. Being able to control my own music via a supplied Bluetooth speaker is a nice touch. A few more objects would have been awesome, but I’m very satisfied and will definitely consider returning. Pro tip: maybe bring yourself a hat. I’m still finding glass and porcelain in my hair ◡̈

  • Cindy Crackintoes

Staff are excellent. Room was super tight for 4 people though, and two of them were tiny 12 y.o. kids. We all had to crowd into one corner so that one person could swing/smash. That said, I'm glad i spent the extra $15 to bring a bag of our own things to smash, and I'm happy to report that we all had a blast.

  • Dan Doak

I found out about the smash room form an ad on Instagram. My girlfriend and I decided to take my little brother and sister and we had an amazing time. So much fun seeing them cut lose be able to smash things without getting in trouble. We will definatly be back and we will be bringing more friends next time.

  • Ash

Been here a handful of times now. Usually go when im feeling upset-- seriously good to get out whatever you have bottled up. Always the risk of having glass pieces flung at you, but they do provide you with decent protection gear. Pretty affordable price compared to other wreck rooms I've been to.

  • Jenna Lamers

So Fun! Such a great place to let loose and relieve some stress, it also makes for a unique outing! Couldn't have been happier with the services provided and the friendly staff. Pricing is fair for the amount of items you get! I would recommend this if you are looking for something different!

  • Sarah Vaillancourt

I knew it would be fun, but it was so much more than that! Worked up a serious sweat, and got out so much negative energy & frustrations. I did a later evening smash and slept like a baby. It was truly refreshing and I can't wait for my next visit! LOVE that they let you play your own music.

  • lauwena PL

This is one of my favourite place to go to! I love the satff there, we are able to play music and smash a whole bunch of things in our respective rooms! I recommend this place to anyone trying to have a good time or really just release some stress!!! make sure to check them out ASAP!!!!!

  • Antish Gopauloo

This is a great location where you can release some stress by breaking stuffs. They give you some items, and they are all yours to smash to pieces. The staff is nice. I would recommend this place to anyone in need of some stress relief. I found it very therapeutic. I will be back.

  • Rob L

It was a good time... I don't know if I would go again. FYI be careful when smashing an item that has contained a liquid or food. We smashed a somewhat empty beer bottled and it stunk up the room. Mugs are best used with a golf club and hot off the floor. You gotta try it once!

  • Natalie Storvold

We had such a fun time at Smash Room! The activity itself was unreal. 2 of the smashing props were in fairly poor condition and did end up breaking during out 30 minutes. I did find it somewhat pricey for a 30 minute activity but it was a lot of fun and highly recommend going!

  • v

Fun experience and the staff are super chill and friendly. The 3 Musketeers package was good for 2 people because the room was big enough. I would've liked more items included in the price (it was mainly plates and cups that you can go through quickly), but it was a good time

  • Skyzreal

Overall, had fun! The employee at the front desk wasn't so inviting, but the rest of the staff were very welcoming ! A bit pricey for the number of items we had to destroy, but still very fun, I don't regret the experience. If you know someone in a breakup, bring them there !

  • Lisa Tran

We used a Groupon for our group of 4. 30 mins experience, they let us play our own music using their Bluetooth speaker. It's a great place to take your anger out on inanimate objects. You have the option to use various objects to smash things or throw it at the wall/floor.

  • Saima Tazreen

It was one of the best birthday activities I've ever done. Go with your friends and smash all your worries away because it definitely works. The staff was very helpful, even put a Happy Birthday sign on the TV I smashed haha! Will definitely make this a monthly activity!

Solid experience. I tend to find the prices a bit steep, and room size a bit small (especially for 4 people). The variety of objects is rather limited as well. Overall a fun time and something interesting to do with friends/family. Good stress reliever that's for sure!

  • Olga Pekalska

Such a great spot to donate old technology and appliances. Staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Made the drop off experience very simple. Cannot wait to go back and actually enjoy a smashing experience too. I recommend it to everyone to donate here too.

  • Sam Viner

Amazing concept and staff is very nice. Wish they had jumpsuits that fit bigger people and they had 2 stereo's, both of which didn't work and ate time out of our visit trying to fix. Overall, super fun and the wife enjoyed her baseball bat and ceramic smashables

My son and I were close to "cracking" and so we decided we needed a "break". What better way to "bust" up the monotony and head on over to the Smash Room where we were able to bash, break and shatter our stress away. Without a doubt we had a "smashing" time!

  • Joshua Pajot

You go, you smash, you leave. That's all one can ask for. I've gone a few times with friends, it's easy to book, the staff is courteous, and I'll guarantee you'll not leave angry, cause at the end of the day someone's gona want something smashed. Excellent.

  • Lucas Kelly

First time going to a smash room, and I'll be sure to return, good choice of weapons, and lots of fun to just destroy things. Safety equipment was good, wasn't concerned about getting hurt. Our host Zeke was very friendly, explained everything clearly.

  • Marie-Pierre Dionne

Amazing experience! Destresses for sure! My team and I all left relaxed and energized! Make sure to wear closed toe shoes and hard soles as glass can get in. Totally recommend this! They told us you can reserve all the rooms for a corporate event.

  • Kim Cox

Had a great time for sure, little pricey thow as not enough items blew threw ours in minutes and had pick up from floor to keep going. But my grandaughter enjoyed herself on her 16th birthday (that's what counted) Staff were fantastic as well.

  • Free Spirit

For $40 each you don't have a lot to break, but it did keep 2 teen busy for 30 minutes. So they only had for 2 person a small plastic box fill of glass and cups, and a vhs/DVD player. What I did like is that they are well equipped for safety.

Great covid-safe activity to get your pandemic frustrations out. It would have been nice if the music options were preselected from a playlist instead of just providing a Bluetooth speaker. Great fun and a good deal with the groupon

  • Alex Chapados

I knew this would be a good time when I booked it, but I ended up having even more fun than expected. The whole process is very well organized and the staff is super friendly, all of which makes it an even better experience.

  • Angela Thomson

Great friendly staff. But one of the jumpsuits had a broken zipper and a few more items would have been great. Letting us bring in our own extra items for no charge would be a good idea. And the smaller items were more fun.

  • Andrew Fennell

Fun experience. Staff were friendly and get you into the action quickly. The smash item stash could use more variety and you smash your way through them faster than you think. Would recommend it for the unique experience.

Fun activity to try out. The staff were laid back. I had a conflict after our doggy daycare appointment was unexpectedly canceled and they rescheduled me the next day without any issue. Efficient, friendly, and fun :-)

  • Deborah Letch

Friendly staff! 48th Birthday surprise! SO MUCH FUN! Tip: buy a second/third smash box (one per person) Different things to smash with- tire arm, baseball bat, frying pans, huge wrench, golf clubs, hockey stick etc..

  • Chrysteann Munroe

Brought my boyfriend here to enjoy smashing things and he enjoyed himself fully. Was alot of fun for him. My only suggestion would be to record and sell the footage as a keepsake. But overall great experience.

  • Miles Rowat

Great staff! Fun location to go and let out some aggression or just go smash some stuff. Only wish was if the larger items were a little bigger. If I could give 4.5, I would because that was my only issue.

  • Travis Fell

Staff were fantastic! Its as much fun as you think it is.. maybe even more.. nothing like taking out aggression on a printer.. some dishes.. a flat screen.. price was a little steep... but worth it.

  • Glenyase St. Croix

Had the best time with my daughter. It was a birthday present and was so much fun. I would highly recommend it for a girls night out, birthday present or just to blow off steam. Hilarious …

  • Lori Day

Great experience, very therapeutic!! Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was ready on time, and everything was easy and painless. Really enjoyed this, I highly recommend and will go back!!

  • Jakob C.

Fantastic service for a badass and yet incredibly soothing activity. My partner and I got the Double Trouble package the other day and had a blast in a much-needed half hour of destruction.

  • Terri Hill

Easy to book; staff are very friendly and provide instructions and clean gear. IT is a fun workout! We laughed more than we smashed. Remember to bring some heavy duty music! A good time.

  • Greg Rose

I booked a party at Smash Room Ottawa for my daughter. The staff was exceptional, the rooms were a blast, and the kids were exhausted and happy at the end of it all. We will be back!

  • Fern Perrier

Great time! This is a nice activity , staff was helpful and polite. The supplied Bluetooth speaker helps create an ambiance for destruction ahahah. I would recommend this activity

  • Jacqueline

This place is so much fun!!! Honestly wasn't sure what to expect at first, but it was utter chaotic fun. I recommend bringing ear plugs if you're sensitive to loud sounds though.

  • Chris Hamad

Nice family experience. I recommend smashing more little objects like plates and cups vs big items like stereo or printers. Between the 4 of us we smashed everything in 20 mins.

  • Kim McGarry

My daughter had a great time. I got hurt walking into the building, was looking at the watch your step sign and missed my step. The guy working was very kind and helpful.

  • Calista Smith

Came in with a group of 4. The staff were very nice got to the point with the rules so we could get to smashing. We had an amazing time, great stress reliever for sure!!

  • HEAVY ZEB

Amazing experience! Staff were friendly and helpful. The whole group had so much fun, we’ll be returning in 3 weeks, good stress release! We highly recommend this place!

  • Tracy Riopelle

Went for my son's birthday everyone had a blast. We will defiantly be going back. The boys felt stress free afterwards. Great time! Highly recommend. Great Service!

  • Gilly M

If you have any pent up anxiety, or anger, this is your place. It was an awesome experience. Abigail was amazing and made my birthday even more special.

  • Erika Mattucci

Came here for a work group event. Absolutely worth it. The staff was great, very friendly. It definitely was so much fun. I can’t wait to come back!

  • Ivern Green

terrible terrible management. Can't even reply to a simple email. Takes months for them to give an answer. Horrible and scum on the earth.

  • Kamisha Andrews

The staff are so friendly and down to earth! My sister and I had such a good time, thank you so much ❤️ Will return a third time no doubt!

  • Amanda Neilson

Great experience! We made a playlist for our smash time which really added to the experience. The printer addition was 100% worth it!

  • Coralie Lanctot

I really recommend the smash room! It was an amazing experience!! All the stress was released!! The fun Worth the price!!

  • Harrison Sitland

Amazing experience, best smash room EVER!!!! Phenomenal service from the guy with the long hair. Would smash again 6/5

  • Laurie Hill

They were accommodating even though we came in early. My daughter and I felt some relief from it. Thank you …
