Unbelievably amazing service!! Like so many other people, I came to Smik Windsor as I received absolutely awful and downright rude service at Smik Rouse Hill. There's a particular dress I was after but unfortunately Smik Windsor did not have stock and would not be able to get it in as it is discontinued. I expected that to be the end of my experience there but to my surprise the staff there (especially who I assume to be the owner or manager) were determined to help me find something that would suit my needs! They brought dress after dress with the style they thought I would like and I really have to applaud them because every single dress they brought up was right up my alley! They learned my preferences with every dress I tried on we ended up with so many dresses I had trouble picking from. I never felt pressured to purchase or try on a dress either, it was just an altogether lovely experience. Some things I would like to point out, every staff member was lovely and patient - not one ounce of rudeness at all. The store is large enough to showcase a large number of dresses and I really appreciate that most of the dresses had protective coverings when on the shelf to prevent damage (especially the sequined dresses). I love that they had as many staff assigned to dressing rooms as there were dressing rooms so I did not have to wait for someone to help zip or lace me up as some dresses are difficult to get on by yourself. To top it all off, the dress that I decided to go with was out of stock in my size but the owner/manager went above and beyond and got one ordered in for me ASAP as my event is in the very near future. I cannot express how wonderful my experience at Smik Windsor was. Such an absolute breath of fresh air from the disaster that was Smik Rouse Hill. I will definitely be coming back for every one of my event needs :)

Very disappointed ☹️ Visited smik Windsor on 8th December and the ladies in the shop were very accommodating and helpful to help my daughter find a dress for her to wear to her 21st in Feb. we purchased a dress for $90.so that is the only reason you get 1 star. My daughter tried on her dress today after buying proper underwear (as advised by the lovely lady on the day of purchase) to see how it looked and when she undid the zipper the end snapped off making it almost impossible to do up or down. I called the shop this morning and was told they would not do anything and I needed to take it to a seamstress There was not an offer of exchange (it was not on sale)not an offer of refund(which we didn’t want because my daughter loved the dress) NOTHING I find it very disappointing that I spend my hard earned money on something for a special occasion ( that I can rarely do)and have a response like this for faulty clothing that my daughter has not even worn yet.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!! If I could give 0 stars, even that would be generous. Absolutely appalling customer service. My daughter and her 2 out of 6 bridesmaids went into Smik Windsor today to browse some styles and potential colours for her wedding next year. As soon as the staff ladies realised that they were part of a bridal party, they were kicked out of the store!!! The girls were refused the opportunity to try on, or even LOOK at dresses, purely because they were in a bridal party. Apparently you cannot go in there without an appointment? How does that work. They asked “if we were here for a formal dress, would we be able to try dresses on?” And the staff lady rudely replied “Well now I know you’re not here for that, no you can’t”. I’d also like to point out that the store was empty! I highly recommend looking at White Runway, Windsor & Lux or literally any other retailer as the service is guaranteed to be better.

My experience today was terribly disappointing. I went in to shop for my nieces wedding. I wanted a dress for myself and potentially, dresses for her 5 bridesmaids as they had the style that she wanted. I waited around 40 minutes for a change room and what was really annoying was that they kept putting ladies into the change rooms before me, who weren’t even waiting in line. After a long and frustrating wait, I tried on a few dresses only to once more be overlooked by the staff. There was minimal assistance and such lack of attentiveness, that I gave up and left in a huff. I never complain and am a very patient person but after my experience today, I felt the necessity to write and share this review. If the owners read this please take note and help your staff to fine tune and up skill their customer service skills. Please note that this review is for the Rouse Hill store.

My wife and I have bought numerous formal and cocktail dresses from here over the years as we have have 4 daughters. Reading the mixed reviews left on here, I actually thought I was going to have an issue at the store with a small issue that we had with a dress that we purchased. I can only commend the ladies that assisted me today (18.11.20) they were extremely helpful, they took the time to listen to the issue and discussed how we could fix the issue for the desired outcome. We are quick to give a place a hard time when they don’t do the right thing, so we must also commend them when they do give fabulous customer service. As it happens the issue wasn’t an issue on their part and they sorted it. Thanks so much, we will as we have been previously be back.

Went into the store to look around for formal dresses and got told that there was only one staff member in which was fine and I said that I was happy to look around and tell her if I needed anything, continued looking around for a while before deciding that I wanted to try something on, took it into the change room and tried it on, while she was looking after someone that came in after me, being very attentive and practically ignoring me. Made me feel like I couldn’t be comfortable asking for help if I had any issues, later I asked if I could try on a dress off a mannequin and got completely ignored while she was “looking after and cleaning the store” even though there where multiple customers all asking for help.

After not having a single staff member offer us assistance today at Smik Rouse Hill, it was an absolute breath of fresh air to walk into the Windsor store today and be greeted by one of the staff immediately. She referred us to her manager for assistance and the manager explained how my niece would be looked after. We only had to wait 5 mins for a spare dressing room and then she was doted on. She was measured , asked what styles she liked and within an hour we had found the perfect formal dress for her. I’m so happy we spent money in a store worthy of a sale. Anyone looking to shop for their formals, go to Smik Windsor, honestly don’t even waste your time going to Rouse Hill. You can thank me later :)

I personally had a fantastic experience with Smik, My daughters wedding is approaching and I needed an outfit organised during covid. I rang Anna from Windsor, and Unfortunately the store was closed, but Anna said if I send her some photos of my choice of dresses she will deliver them to my house. I found this extremely helpful as I am also very ill with cancer stage 4 at the moment. The clothes where delivered and I was able to try them on with help from a friend in my own house. Anna picked them up the following day. I rang the week after to tell Anna of my choice and the size , which she was able to get in for me. I picked up My dress when the store was opened. Very satisfied with my choice

The two lovely ladies at Smik Windsor were absolutely fantastic !! Can’t thank them enough for their outstanding customer service and patience with me when choosing a formal dress for a wedding I was attending. Leaving it to the very last minute, unlike me, they ensured that I tried on all the dresses that I liked and I was not leaving that shop until I found one. Thank you girls appreciate all your time and commitment to helping me find “the dress” amongst so many beautiful and gorgeous dresses. If you are ever looking for formal wear, with exceptional customer service this is the place to go

Lots of dresses but not displayed well or easy to access. Have to sqeeze past people and dresses are in plastic bags. We were there willing to buy and could have really used some help to find the colour and styles in mind. We didn't even get a hello ignored by a handful of staff. We were there for over 50 mins combing through dresses. Can you order in our sizes needed in the colours and style we like? Don't know the 4 of us where ignored? Thats fine we will go in town.

Choose carefully ladies.....no matter what there are no refunds!!!! even though no refund is written on the receipt for sale items (which you expect). there are no refunds for non-sale items.....apparently you need to read the tiny print notice in the store. Maybe don't use the word "refund" on the receipt Smik, it is very misleading otherwise the staff on Saturday are lovely and patient but not so much today.

This shop is fantastic. The staff where so so helpful and they went over and beyond to help me. They where the best part of my experience in the shop and I would highly highly recommend them to anyone. There dresses are beautiful and had a large selection for me to choose from. I wish I could tell you the ladies name that help me today she was just fantastic and I had a lovely experience.

Lovely range of dresses. Prices may be high but the are designer brands and high quality gowns. I bought my year 12 formal dress here and just recently returned to purchase a dress for my friend's wedding 7yrs later. It's wonderful to have a place local that you can rely on for occasions such as these and that the quality and customer service has remained the same after all this time.

We drove all the way to Windsor to this shop looking for a formal dress for a bridesmaid. So glad we did. Thousands of fabulous evening/formal dresses. Staff and owner -wonderful. Couldn't be more helpful. We had to wait for a changing room for a while but it was a lovely atmosphere with all the year 12 girls (with their parents) trying on dresses for their formals.

Poor customer service, the lady tried to make us pay more than we had owing and wouldn't listen to what we said we had paid, once she realised we were right there was no apology. This was after trying and ordering dresses in our size, returning to pick them up and they were the wrong size, having or order and wait another 3 months!!! Very poor customer service.

I was so impressed with the amazing customer service my daughter and I received from the staff at Smik Windsor 12.10.18. Tracey ensured this was a stress free experience bringing forth her knowledge, professionalism and awesome styling skills! My daughter left with a formal dress she loves. I can’t thank you enough. Will definitely return!

Fantastic service by Lisa who made buying a formal dresss for my 16 yo daughter a breeze . Can’t recommend Lisa enough and the shop has a huge range to suit most people . 1st shop we went to showed Lisa photos of what she liked ,Lisa found 4 dresses and 2nd dress was THE ONE! The staff at Windsor Smik were amazing! I went wedding shopping 2 months before my wedding and the ladies pulled through with all 3 of our dresses They are also very affordable! I went back again to buy my sisters Year6 formal dress too! Our number 1 favourite dress store now! ❤️

Smik Windsor were very attentive to everyone when my daughter and I entered the store. As many girls are looking for formal dresses at this time of year the shop was busy; however, no one felt rushed. They spent an hour with my daughter like she was the only person there. I highly recommend Smik Windsor.

The staff there were so terrific. Such a good experience for my daughter in choosing a formal dress. They were so attentive and accommodating, even though they were busy. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Excellent range of dresses and excellent service. I would highly recommend you go there!

Had an amazing time shopping with my sister today. We FINALLY! Found the the dress!!! Thankyou so much to the shop assistants who gave us suggestions and helped her find her baby blue ball gown (she didn’t even want blue but fell in love) highly recommend!!!!

The staff were wonderful and extremely attentive. Shop closed 4pm (we didn't know), yet they stayed back to resolve the dilemma of finding the perfect gown. Lots and lots of choices for young, old, big, and small. They also stock accessories. A big thumbs up.

WINDSOR STORE- Two of the younger staff had an awful attitude. We were laughed at when asking to try a certain dress. Management needs to sort this out!! We left as soon as this happened even though we walked in the store determined to buy 2 formal dresses.

Really great value and beautiful clothing in the formal wear area! The manager/owner is lovely but the rest of staff are a bit prickly. I will definitely visit again when I am in town. My girlfriends and i always have a great time trying everything on!

From the moment we walked in til the time we left, customer service was exceptional. The ladies went above and beyond to help my daughter find her perfect dress. A vast range of dresses and all reasonably priced. Can not recommend Smik high enough.

If i could give a half star i would - i paid 200 dollars on a dress for lay-by and this store is refusing to give me back my money after cancelling the Layby which by the way i am entitled to under fair trading
