Dr Gustav Hefer is amazing. He has been my dentist for years and I can strongly recommend him. Besides being an excellent dentist he also has state of the art equipment which enables him to work quickly and efficiently and can, for instance, make in-chair crowns while you wait (which helps me as I usually drive through from Durbanville). I also have my teeth cleaned every few months. Marilize (Smile Studio's Oral Hygienist) is really a "Tooth Fairy". It is amazing what a proper clean can do for your smile (when my teeth are super white I feel at least 5 years younger). The professionalism and friendliness of the whole team is outstanding!

NOT DESERVING OF A SINGLE STAR. If you are BLACK... don't go to this Racist white Male of a dentist. He did not even look at me twice, opened his gate Or even try to hear my queries. He just closed his blinders as I waved outside trying to get his attention- mind you he saw me... He just came out of his practice a few minutes later...continue to eat his apple... got into his car as if there's no one yelling "excuse me" as he passed by. I am still shook. I don't believe people like this still exist!!! Why was I not attended to I ask???

I lost a filling and my dentist was closed, so I came here. I asked if I could get some temporary filling material to close the gap over the weekend. I showed them examples of the types of material you can find on Google, none of which they had ever heard of. Eventually they gave me some wax, which fell out in 30 seconds. I left frustrated and found the exact stuff at a pharmacy 30min later.

Terrible. Unnecessary extraction of a wisdom tooth that should have been repaired has caused a decade and a half of problems. Totally fleeced my medical aid and really made a terrible judgment of what needed to be done in favour of more expensive procedures to line his pocket.

Amazing experience with a caring practitioner. I am a nervous dental patient and Dr Hefer and his team always makes sure I am at ease and fully understand the procedure before it happens. Lovely staff and beautiful surgery.

Dr Hefer is an awesome dentist. Gentle, thorough and caring. Does not recommend unnecessary work. Great with kids. My children look forward to visiting the dentist. Marelize is a great oral hygienist too!

Smile Studio is absolutely the best in Cape Town, actually they are the best dental studio I have been to period. Dr Hefer is amazing, and such a professional. They will be my dental studio for life.

Great service and impressive results from both the dentist and oral hygienist. They are not the cheapest around, but definitely worth the investment if you want quality results.

Although I am terrified of dentists , I married one !!! But I would not have any other dentist work on my teeth, Gustav Hefer and his team are the best !
