I am an overseas lady and i am a gynaecologist at my country ...visiting sydney my BP was raised and was unable to get medicine without prescription so i went to see smithfield family medical practice ....i was feeling very very sick and when i called at the centre the lady asked me to come to the centre in one hour as walk in patient...so i ran to the centre even though i was not well n it was a really hot weather that day....as soon as i entered the centre which i reached with marked difficulty the same receptionist who asked me to reach the centre,told me that gp at the centre never takes new patients.....i requested her so many times that i am about to collapse and i just need a prescription but she insulted me a lot,she was the most harsh person i have ever met in my life and did not allowed me to talk to the doctor at all ....instead threatened me that she would call police against me ........in the first place if doctor at this centre never takes new patient then why did she asked me to reach the centre in one hour time worst experience ever...i felt disgusted,insulted and my blood pressure raised further ...big shame on her

When pur family dr retired at the end of last year, we were worried we would not find a medical professional that would be as good and then...we found Dr Rastogi and the wonderful staff at Smithfield Medical Practice. This practice exceeded our expectation on all aspects. Yes it is true that sometimes there is a bit if a delay but the wait is definitely worth it! Dr Rastogi's diagnosis and medical advice is always spot on. He takes his time with each patient making sure they are treated with care and tgat all of their questions are answered. My daughter never cries with him and even has a good time going there :) The wonderful admins at the front are always warm, friendly, compassionate and make you feel welcome. By far the best medical practice we attended. Highly recommended. If I could have rated above 5 stars, I would have.

I love the Staff and they have always been caring beautiful to me ❤️my Dr is a beautiful caring man your not just a number to him and I Don’t know why some people can complain about waiting times as I said your not just a number so it’s worth the wait to see him thank you for the many many years of taking care of me Doc lol GodBless you all love Aileen

Dr rastogi has been our family doctor for ever I have moved out of area and my mother still visits him he is the best I wish I finished work earlier so I could see him instead of my current dr and to the people complaining about waiting half hour i wait hours where I live I wish to wait half hour past booking time

Longggggg waiting time, went for Covid vaccine and we had to wait more than an hr after the scheduled appointment time, there isn’t many patients but the doctor takes longer than usual to consult the patients, this is the last time I would go here or would never recommend anyone

Dr Rastogi has been my doctor for 20+ years and also looks after my two daughters. He is an excellent doctor - never dismissive and always informative and goes the extra mile to look after his patients. Cannot recommend him enough for yourself or your littles

My Family has being going to Dr Rostogi for 20 years . He is the best in the area. Some days the waiting time is long but that is because the Dr takes his time with the patients.

This is unbelievable, The lady in reception asked about my private issue that I wanted to see the doctor for, then … told me sorry we don’t accept walk in patients!!!!

I have been going here since i was a baby (1991) Dr Rastogi is the best. The staff are awesome,too. Yes,the waiting sucks but what can you do?

The wait-time was ridiculously long for having absolutely no one there, and the receptionists were fairly rude and moody.

Great doctors here. But expect to wait AT MINIMUM half an hour past your booked appointment time.
