I used smooth move for a smaller move from my moms house to my own apartment. My mom had used them for a move the year prior. The move only included my one bedroom in the house and some boxes into a 600 sq ft apt. Smooth Move was great about squeezing me in that day. The staff were professional and did a great job getting everything loaded up, padded, moved in, and put back together. The only negative I have is the price. My mom moved from a 2000+ sq ft house into another house and the move as a whole was only $2300. They came out prior to moving and gave her an estimate. They used 4 men and 2 moving trucks. My one bedroom move was $1000 and did not even include a couch or any living room big pieces of furniture. The only large items were a bed, dresser, and 2 small side tables. This was for 2 men. I am not sure where the price differences came from. We were planning to use Smooth Move in Dec for my grandmothers small move, but given the price for my small move, we will explore other options. If you have the extra money to spend though, I highly recommend! But as a young adult moving into my first apartment on my own, I wasn't planning to spend $1000 just to move.

Smooth Moving was just that - smooth! They assessed my property in person, gave me a quote the same day, and came in under all my other bids with a fixed price that never wavered. No hidden costs or add-ons down the line, notwithstanding the extra mile the movers had to go when I got to my destination. I planned to put my things into storage and after it was halfway full, we realized the unit was too small so the movers had to move everything they had already packed into original unit over to a second unit. While it was extra work for them, they did so with positivity and humor - GREAT work ethic and attitudes. I also had Smooth Moving pack my things, which they did with great care and again, positive attitudes. I enjoyed chatting with the packers all were incredibly personable and kind. Honestly, this was a wonderful moving experience, I'd recommend SM to anyone looking to have a stress-less, easy, cost-efficient move!

We had a wonderful experience with Smooth Moving and highly recommend them for packing and moving! They showed up right on time both mornings and efficiently packed up our entire house for us and moved us the following day. Having 2 small children, this was incredibly helpful! We had A LOT of stuff and they were able to quickly pack up all of our belongings and move them to our new home in 2 days. They brought all of their boxes, paper, saran wrap for furniture and moving blankets. They carefully wrapped all of our frames, glasses, dishes, furniture, anything and everything that they could in paper/wrap and blankets so that it was protected during the move. The group of guys that moved us were all very professional, courteous and kind. It was a very smooth process. Hopefully we won't be moving again anytime soon, but if we do, we would definitely use them!

This was probably my first experience moving inside the US in 15 years and I was not looking forward to it. I got Smooth Move as a recommendation along with another local moving company from my relator. Smooth move was super upfront with cost and albeit they are definitely not the cheapest they are also not the most expensive. My move went extremely well. I completely underestimated my number of boxes but it wasn't an issue. They moved me out of my old house and into my new one in 7 hours with 4 guys. All 4 of them were super polite and seemed very trustworthy. Very hard working guys, it was probably 105 with the heat index. Overall very satisfied with my experience with this company and I would recommend to anyone. Good communication with back office as well regarding my move and payment etc.

We hired Smooth Moving for a local move from Brentwood to Franklin and could not be happier with our decision! The owner Nick came and gave us an estimate which was comparable to other quotes but we preferred his fixed price quote as opposed to other quotes which provided an estimate based on hours and could have ended up being higher. We had a team of 5 movers including Nick. They were quick, professional, friendly, and very courteous. They took great care with our furniture (wrapping all pieces with pads and shrink-wrap) and boxes. They are a locally owned small business and we were happy to support them. Best of all, they provided great customer service and made our move much less stressful! We would highly recommend them without reservation!

Y’all these guys are the best! We just moved from Nashville up to Cleveland Ohio. Nick was on point! After doing a walk thru of my house- he wasn’t sure that all our stuff would make it in one truck so he had another one ready to go. He sent 5 guys to load us Monday, then 3 of them came up to Ohio including Nick- the owner of the company, and unloaded us first thing Wednesday. All of Nick’s crew were kind and courteous and all worked their tails off. They had the truck loaded meticulously, and were super patient with me while we figured out what went where. Moving from a big house to an apartment was not easy, but smooth movers lived up to their name! 100% worth it, 100% would recommend, would totally use again!

Everyone was so wonderful to work with and the entire crew was so personable and friendly! Moving is never stress free but these guys helped keep the stress at a record low. Love that they have their own storage facility and have been so accommodating and responsive. Smooth Moving was the only moving company that actually came out to look at my house/items and talk through everything with me for a quote. Nick and his team at Smooth Move were nothing short of accommodating, professional, and knowledgeable. Nick came by and estimated our move and worked with us to stay within our budget. He brought 5 guys with him the day of our move and had us moved within hours! All of the guys were beyond professional and never made me feel like I was in their way (even though I for sure was)! “Smooth Moving” is the perfect way to describe it. Their team was fast, capable, organized, and efficient! Without any help from me, they quickly packed furniture and boxes out of TWO homes into the truck, transported it, and unloaded the items into the rooms we specified. Howard, for the most part we were happy with Smooth Move. James, who packed the kitchen did an excellent job. Everything arrived safe and sound and he was careful to place heavier items on the bottom and lighter items on the top. However the people who packed the shed items just seemed to throw those items in haphazard. Consequently, several plastic covers on tools and part boxes were broken and the contents ended on the bottom of the carton. Nick, the owner, Conner and John did a great job of both storing and delivering our furniture. We had it stored for over a year and when we called they quickly arranged to have it sent to our home an hour and a half away and agreed to pick up another bedroom set and a few other pieces from our sons house on the way here. They were on time for both appointments. They were extreme polite and neat and got everything set up and made sure that we had all of our belongings before they left. Great Job Smooth Moves!
