I was able to utilize the curbside option on my online order. I was given the time of 4:27pm my order would be ready and a team member would be bring out my order. I called to inform a member I was here and the employee was extremely rude. She sounded frustrated I had a curbside order and informed me that it will be a while for my order to come out because they are currently busy. I called in 3 mins before my curbside time. I ordered at 4:15pm and I feel if it an option for a customer to place an order online and have a curbside option it should be honored and not given attitude for using that option. We received our order at 4:33pm, and young lady with a lower bun and headband (unfortunately no name given or name tag) brought our order out. She had this attitude approach with our drinks pressed against her shirt. When we received our drinks, no apology for a wait (which at this point we didn’t expect because of the attitude during the call) but still thanked her for bringing out our drinks. She turned her back..no you’re welcome..just attitude and walked off. So I rolled my window down again to thank her again as she walked off and still nothing. Just pure unhappiness. I work in customer service and I believe in reviews. I hope you provide this feedback to this employee. Regardless of the day you are having or the responsibility giving to you, don’t take it out on the customer. I was nothing but nice and should be treated the same in return.

Not sure why there are so many opposite experiences from what I have but I absolutely love this location! I drive almost 30m to get here. I pre-order smoothies a couple times a week for me and my bf. A few times, I was going to be late and called the girls and they cheerfully informed me they would put my order in the freezer till I arrived. I felt so appreciated. The girls have always greeted me. They have always apologized when I see them HUSTLING, and I respectfully declined their apology because they work hard! No apology necessary! They always thank me and tell me to have a nice day when I leave. And the best part is they always seem happy! It's such a refreshing scene. You can just feel it in the atmosphere. They do get pretty busy so if you can order online do it. By the time you drive the 10-15minute drive it'll be ready. Sometimes I wish they can build one closer to me but this location definitely has my heard.

Update- supposedly this location is now under new management but yet again I ordered online for delivery and the add ons I paid for were not added. The flavor is more bland than it should be and I get very little taste of the protein powder or any other items that are supposed to be in the Hulk. Very disappointing. --- I love SK but this location is failing miserably. It's gone downhill over the last year or two and their quality control is terrible. I've ordered online for delivery and received what tasted like milky soap. Multiple times, I've paid for enhancers that are definitely not added. And now... They close on random days. Closed on Thursday AND Friday this week? "Special hours" just for this location. And the other reviews about the cleanliness of this location are spot on.

I can here for the first time with my 4 year old son because I heard great reviews from coworkers. My son ordered the kids chocolaca and they didn't tell me until checkout when it had already been made that they did not have a fitting lid for his cup. I asked if I could get a different cup with a lid to transfer it into, and was told no, because they inventory their cups. I have never heard of a business turning away business because of a cup. It's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. The smoothies looked good, but I couldn't speak to the taste because I promptly requested a full refund of both of our drinks because I refuse to do business with a company that cares more about a cup then my sale, and expects me to let my 4 year old drink that cup in my car with no lid.

I haven't been here in a while, but this will be my last time visiting this location. The girls working here get along so well we had to wave them down from the back room to let them know we were ready to order. While we ordered, they didn't stop their conversation to let us order, we had to talk in the gaps of their conversation. Once we ordered, they made our drinks while enjoying their conversation. When our drinks were done they continued their conversation while our drinks sat in the blender until they were ready to step away and pour them. No one once engaged us, asked if we needed help with the menu, or even acknowledged us walking out (or into) the store. Just in case anyone is interested I came in at noon on 6/24 and there were no other customers in the store.

Terrible Service. Worst place I've been to in years. The staff is extremely rude. I ordered a chocolate smoothie and received a strawberry smoothie after waiting 20 minutes inside. Staff were confused and everyone in the store received what looked like the same drink. Everyone there waiting we're frustrated and upset. Girl making the smoothies even said, "I'm so confused right now". I tried going back with a receipt and they refused to make good by giving me the chocolate smoothie I actually ordered. Instead, they said, "I wish I could help you, but you have to have the actual cup with you because it's our policy to do a cup count". Cup count? Really?Bad business practices and horrible customer service. Never again...save your money and make your smoothies at home!

Went in for a vegan dark chocolate banana with peanut butter. The smoothie was so thick and heavy that I couldn't even get it through the straw. Finally got a little bit when I got back to work and it had zero flavor. It was like drinking blended up ice. To make matters worse, the experience overall with the staff was even worse than the smoothie. Extremely rude and just acted like they didn't care at all. I strongly reccomend going to a different smoothie king for anybody wanting one. You won't regret driving a few extra minutes if it means getting quality smoothies and being treated like you matter, unlike this place. I even gave them a break thinking some of these reviews were too critical. Turns out that they were 100% accurate. Absolutely awful.

Went for an online order that was supposed to be ready at 10:16AM, and I didn’t get it until 10:30AM. I saw someone walk in after me and get their order first after I was promised mine was next. The worst part is I used to work at a smoothie king and we could run laps around this place with only two people. I’m sorry, but I won’t be ordering online or coming back in at this point. I couldn’t even find a customer service number to call on the app to get a free smoothie or something for the inconvenience. The customer support channels are hidden behind a little form you must submit that has no relevant topics for a complaint. Get it together guys, some people don’t have the time to waste waiting around, or the patience in general.

I was speaking to the area manager and he was so ruid, saying to me do I know you and I'm a customer who is keeping this business running and your employees are making a pay check. I spend a lot of money here and this is what he says to me. I'm wondering who is his boss. I spent $70 on my favorite peanut power plus with the sweet strawberry when they were close for Easter weekend. I think it was that holiday I can't remember now but when I'm off the road as a truck driver I would come and get my favorite peanut power plus. I was just speaking and I didn't want to get mad and curse him out. I can tell that he was having a bad day but he still shouldn't have a attitude towards his customer.

I’m not one to leave a bad review unless it’s completely valid. I visited the golds gym on bandera and decided to treat myself to smoothie king. When I walked in the place reeked of rotten moldy something which seems like something that can be taken care of. The employee was sweet but my gladiator chocolate smoothie had ice chunks, mysterious pieces of idk what, and was overall the worst smoothie I’ve ever had. I ended up throwing it away. I usually never throw away food but I wouldn’t even give this to a homeless person down the street. I hope this location cleans up its act because it is disrespectful to carry smoothie kings name and serve like this. I wish I read the reviews before!

I work across the street from this location and went on my lunch break, only 30 minutes. It took my entire break just to get my smoothie. I get that it was kinda busy but it wasn’t busy enough to justify it taking 25 minutes, there was maybe 10 customers in the building waiting all of whom looked just as upset. When I mentioned it to them I got a half hearted, “I don’t really care”, sorry from them. The employees all looked young and had zero motivation to move any faster than they were either. This used to be a very fast trip for me but not anymore. I don’t have a long enough break to justify going here anymore and honestly, I still wouldn’t if I did have the time.

It's NOT FIRST come first served. I ordered 2 20 oz and the customer after me ordered 3 32 oz and got theirs first. Apparently, I will be speaking with JJ the manager to see how she will correct this unacceptable service. UPDATE: JJ is a GREAT Manager who knows and stands by GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Apparently, she also has trained her team to NOTIFY her of all issues that arise within her store (GOOD or BAD). She already was a aware of the above incident and corrected the poor service by redoing my exact order for FREE. I wish and pray that this type of management COMES BACK!!!! JJ is MANAGER of THE YEAR in my book. It was a pleasure to talk to her. God bless her.

My wife and I go in almost everyday to replace a meal. And it feels like the service is going down everyday. Today we went in and heard someone in back but noone came out. We stood out there with a other gentleman that walked in for about 6 mins til someone came out the restroom. Which we didnt hear the water turn on. On top of that our order didnt come out how it should and we didnt have time to have it remake which I think they wouldn't have. I dont think we will be back . Sad to say but I think its time to start making our own smoothies.

Horrible customer service went yesterday received worst service opened the door was screamed at for opening the door by the girl working there while 2 other employees just looked . Didn’t get sorry it’s only curbside Lobby is closed. I get were in epidemic , but there is a way to talk to someone way not too. Today I came by to hope for better experience and lady outside avoid eye contact gave attitude right away. Will not be coming back to this location ever.

Place has gone downhill, not adequately staffed to handle “rush” times. Smoothies taste like too much ice... not as good as the other locations even though the ingredients and measurements should be the same. This may be due to high employee turnover. I do see the owner in the mornings, but definitely poor management and lack of training for the employees. I would avoid and make the trip to the 410/ military location... much better quality and service.

Walked in and there was Noone around.. Three employees were in the back and when they finally came to the front there was no interaction what's so ever. We had to ask if we could order, clearly we were inturrepting the conversation. When we received our drinks there was no "thank you" or "have a good day"... The drinks were left on the counter and the employees continued their conversation amongst themselves.. Very poor experience.. Will not return

Place an online order ready for pick up at 12:34 today. It’s 12:56 and was advised it wouldn’t be ready for awhile.. what’s the point of an online order?? I asked for a refund and told the manager had to call me back later and couldn’t be done when I was in the store. If you can’t handle online orders then don’t do it! Third something is wrong at this store. Also one of your employee was rude with an ugly attitude. Not coming back anymore .

I had came and as I was parking to come in the area manger daughter ran to the back which is unprofessional and I don't feel like I need to continue to come back. That had made me feel really uncomfortable that day. That's not how you treat your customer. I was once a temporary manager for the IRS. I have had several employees said to me that I would be an excellent manager and if I do go back to the company I'm going to be a manager again

Went last week in morning. Ended up waiting over an hour for 2 smoothies. To be fair there was only one person that morning. Another one came in later. Online ordering system needs to be worked on, especially if short staffed. There were some people who walked out after waiting awhile. I normally go-to location by work which I've waited at most about 5 minutes during lunchtime. I've waited longer than that here before this incident.

If I could give this smoothie King location zero stars o would. No customer service and very unwelcoming employees. I would rather drive 10 minutes instead of coming to this location. I highly recommend not coming to this location of your wanting customer service with your smoothie. The employees need more training. And my promised time if 5:15pm was not honored and typically it is. This was even more upsetting.

Guy who answered the phone was extremely rude. First and last time to this location. It was 4/26 at 5:51 pm. Hate your job...find another or at least don’t let him interact with customers. I called to ask how the new process was when grabbing an online order because of Covid19 and he sounded extremely irritated. I have been to other locations and the workers are always super helpful and friendly.

I have visited twice in 2 months. No issues with the employees BUT...the place could use a thorough cleaning. I have pictures to prove it but will not post at this time. Look up, look down, look outside the door and you WILL lose your smoothie appetite. Hope management can address this issue promptly. I will return next month, and will walk out if it looks the same as it did today.

Only one person working, smoothie was suppose to be ready at 12:39 from what the app said and here I am at 1:17 and smoothie is still not made. When ask the lady working she gave an ugly attitude. Last time o ever come to this smoothie king. App doesn’t even let you cancel the order or refund your money. Feel bad for the lady that smoothie king didn’t staff efficiently.

Smoothie tastes fine, hospitality was fine, but when you open the door a cloud of rotten milk smell slaps you across the face and smothers your airway. I almost could not stomach the smell while waiting for my smoothie! I felt gross sitting there. I thought maybe it was a fluke the last time I was there, but I see now it's a recurring smell. Probably won't be back.

Just went by and picked up a Fit Veggie Mango and it had absolutely no mango or banana flavor. I also paid extra for pineapple and there wasn’t even a hint of pineapple flavor. Not sure what flavor it was but it definitely wasn’t what I ordered. The female employee insisted that she was the one who made it and it was correctly made. Not coming back

The lady that took my order was on the phone with what sounded like another employee, and she was somewhat rude and sounded like she didn't want to take my order since I didn't use their app. I didn't get a name, but the receipt said 'Owner'. The guy who actually made the smoothies was courteous though and apologized that there was a few minute wait.

I understand that everyone is understaffed, but that’s all the more reason to quit these online orders. Clearly everyone here is new and there are 10 people waiting who walked in. I’ve been here for HALF AN HOUR and the manager is prioritizing online orders. At this point I’m late for work for a $10 smoothie and can’t walk out since I already paid.

The girl put her hand in my cup and her sweater was touching the insides of the container that she was scooping from. I was just a very dirty experience. I couldn’t take the drink. Had to ask for a refund. It’s not fair. Driving all the way here and having such an experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place, unless there are some improvements made.

Closed and locked the door more than 10 minutes from the stated close time of 9PM on Saturday 6/25. Made another order today on 6/28, the store was closed at 8:20 when they state they close at 9. I made an online order, paid for a product, drove all the way there only to have to come back the next day to hopefully get a refund. Waste of my time.

Pretty gross store. I love SK but will not go back to this location. Bathroom door handle was falling off and the toilet was clogged. I saw a worker drop a blender piece to the floor and all the employees had a quick conversations to decide if they should clean it or not. I’m honestly surprised they were able to get an 82 on their health score.

I got here 10 minutes before closing and I saw this notice on the door and 2 employees inside so, I wasn’t sure if the system down or they are being lazy to finish up there hours. 15 minutes later this guy showed up and took off the paper and went inside again, seems like the system is up but the employees being lazy after thanksgiving break.

I’m not one to post or complain. BUT what I just observed needs to be notated. I went in to pick up my online order and was the only customer. Of the 3 employees present, one was cleaning the AC vents in the ceiling with a dusting brush directly over the uncovered additives, supplements and powders. Unacceptable. I’ll never go back.

We walked in a few minutes prior to closing and they refused to serve us, even though the door was unlocked, the open sign was on, and there was another customer in the store waiting on an order. I was there a week or 2 ago with my kids, I go a few times a month to this particular location. I've seen on more than 1 occasion an older lady who seems to take great pride in her work. She wasn't wearing a name tag & when I asked her name I think it was Lauren or Laura. Anyway, I wanted to say kuddos to her, nice job!

Used to work here...the current staff that works there over all have terrible customer service, there’s never any smiles and instead of asking how can I help you or what would you like, they just look away and talk among each other.. the only upside is they are fast and the smoothies still taste just as good

The ceilings and vents were disgusting. They had so much dust that the dust was falling off in clumps. There were tons of flies on the syrups and fruit. There were 4 young girls just talking about college and doing their cheers in front of customers . They should’ve been cleaning. Would Not recommend.

Got a smoothie through Uber eats but the smoothie was gross due to the people who made it used unripe bananas and you can tell by the taste they were unripe the shake was bitter and starchy almost like trying to eat the peeling don’t go here save your money
