One of the few smokers lounges left where one can go and enjoy a drink and a smoke. Fascinating how many non-smokers frequent the place and want to come and hang with all the cool kids. The proprietor has installed a very effective extractor fan for this very reason. You feel just like you are inside an airport lounge!

What's the point of stocking quarts and not allowing them to be consumed after 6? May as well do away with them as that's why people come here to begin with. Consumers will soon vote with their pockets. Stupid business decision. More

Like all the sports pubs in cape town especially in the boere wors curtain area it has all the things and drinks same people you would find at Woolworth woods same shooters same everything but jah its a bar and people needs to drink

I have regularly popped into Smugglers, but nothing in the interior has changed to make this pub more inviting. I really feel it needs a facelift from that put-together 90's look, to retain and draw in customers.

Very basic pub, clean, friendly efficient staff, pool tables and big tvs for sports and mixed crowd. It'll do fine as the local watering hole, nothing fancy but good enough …

Service is a bit slow and it was not that busy but over all a nice place. Don't know if they still do karaoke there but it used to be the best

I've been to Smugglers a few times and the bar service is prompt, plus security is good for when the customers get rowdy.

Great little place. Not as busy as it use to be a few years ago, but the staff was friendly and the prices are decent.

An old watering hole in the area... They cleaned up and I do not have anything bad to say about them

Friday nights with karaoke hosted by Subway Entertainment always a winner. Cheap drink, good vibe.

This place can get a bit racist, but if you willing to sit through it, their beer is cold.
