Brief summary: I am so impressed. Highly recommended. Detailed review of individual items: I've been wearing Soartd items now during 10 days hiking in Torres Del Paines Chile and Pasa De Vente on Mount Huemel El Chaltem Argentina, and 9 days hiking in some of the more rugged and isolated areas of south-west tasmania (Western Arthurs and Du Cane range). In packing, we were rigorous about only carrying the minimum weight, and each item was heavily scrutinized before being accepted on the trips. Very satisfied with the Soartd gear. -- Coast Long Sleeve wilderness Shirt: I took a risk and carried this shirt as my only outer shirt for 10 days straight in Patagonia, in both blazing sun and days of snow. Almost unbelievable. I did use a thin merino undershirt as well. I can't give higher praise than to say I was never aware of either shirt. The soartd shirt was great for sun protection and warm when needed, great wind protection and rapid drying if wet, and stayed so clean. On the 11th day, I went to a business lunch, still wearing the shirtafter just washing the underarms - no problems, not out of place. Because of that great experience, I wore the same shirt combo every day in SW Tassie, some rain, lots of thick scrub and rocks, sun, some bushfire problems (only damage to the shirt is a few tiny holes burnt in the back), and wore it every night. Never an issue, no significant odour issue. -- All Terrain Trek Pants: I had some trouble getting the right size, mainly my fault for guessing, so I now have an extra pair of large - Soartd will accept them back if I sent them, but I didn't. I'll find someone who wants them. (If you are near the border between two sizes, order the smaller size.) The trek pants were my mainstay while hiking in the mountains in Patagonia (worn every day) and for all the thick bush areas in SW Tasmania. Again, superb. Comfortable, light, amazingly protective from bushes and wind and rain (though not waterproof). And again, amazing ability to not get dirty. After 9 days hiking, I washed just the bottom 10 centimeters of the legs and wore these pants to the business lunch mentioned above, no problems, looked almost spotless. Unbelievably. -- All terrain trek shorts.Really comfy and hard wearing (again I chose too large a size -choose a smaller rather than larger size). Soartd don't have a long pants/zip-off legs/short pants combo, which I would like. The shorts are a little shorter than my usual hiking shorts, tougher and more strecthy and comfortable. When I expected really sunny weather, I prefer the longer shorts for the added sun protection on my legs. -- Full flight hooded jacket. I really like this but haven't taken it into any tough terrain as yet. Very comfortable and fits well. -- Global Storm Hooded jacket: This one I ordered a size too small and gave it to a friend and then I ordered the larger size. If you are ordering one, choose a slightly larger fit as you are likely to be putting this on over many other layers, and it gives that extra length at the back if hiking in bad weather. I haven't tested it in extreme conditions but have used it hiking and have had no problems with it at all. Really high quality manufacture and great value. I haven't mentioned the amazing aftersales service and returns policy because everyone else has.

My friends bought a few items from SOARTD, and after seeing the quality of the clothing and the options (as well as ZERO risk for the customer because there is free return postage if you change your mind or get the wrong size), I decided to purchase one of every item currently available; shirt, hat, belt, pants, both jackets. Over the past few weeks, I have put all of the items of clothing to the test, including the rain jacket in rain, and the clothing on hiking trips. This is seriously good quality clothing, and comfortable as heck; you can tell it was designed by an outdoors-person. Every aspect of this purchase is top quality service, and this gear will last a long time. It's the little things that impress me most; loop on the sleeve of the cold weather jacket, inside zipper on the rain coat, the pants loops and optional reflectors (for cycling), the hoods on the jackets. On top of this, when we contacted the business to ask questions, we were sent some trial clothing (with no obligation to buy after we tried it out). This business is Australian owned, using ecological friendly manufacturing. It's really hard to find an online (or any) business that is THIS legit, but this is it.

Companies and products like Soartd are unfortunately few and far between these days. As someone who works in the outdoor education industry, quality of product is my main criteria in purchasing outdoor equipment. I purchased the trek long pants intitially and after the first wear I decided that I needed to get more Soartd clothing. The pricing is amazing and I know that I, along with many others I’m sure, would be willing to pay more for clothing of the quality that Soartd makes. Customer service was the next big surprise, with personalized, handwritten notes placed in the bags of my next few purchases - I thought this was a thing of the past but I’m happy it’s not, at least with Soartd. My one word of caution is that I don’t think you can stop at just one item from Soartd, as once you experience the quality and service you’re hooked, but I guess that’s not a bad thing either. Thanks Soartd for being a breath of fresh air in the outdoor industry.

Recieved my shorts through a Wild competition. The are obviously high quality, both in the stretchy, moisture wicking material, as well as the sewing and design. I especially appreciated the two zipped pockets (right hand front pocket and back pocket), perfect for keeping your wallet safe as you scramble up a rough track. Also like that the material is slightly elasticized, adding to the comfort of wearing them and a freedom of movement. The shorts are smart enough that you could wear them out to a restaurant or whatever, and look pretty stylish. My only qualm is that I ordered the 'small' size, but the small size is what I consider to be 'medium' or even 'large'. I take about a size 30, but these are three or four sizes too big for me. Smaller people might need an extra small size - not sure if that is available. Luckily the shorts come with a stylish belt, which takes up the slack and means I can wear them. Very happy!

Excellent products. Excellent service. I initially purchased a Coast Long Sleeve Shirt and a pair of board shirts. I was very impressed by the speed of delivery; the minimal but protective packaging (a zip lock clear plastic bag for each product); the free delivery; the quality of design and finish of both pieces of clothing; and the great value for money. I therefore went on to buy another L/s shirt (in a different colour) given how much I like the first, plus a pair of Trek Pants (which come with a very nifty belt). I made a mistake with size in this second order and the responsiveness and assistance I received from Soartd is as good as it gets. Great to see an Australian business producing such quality products and backing it up with quality service.

Really good to use and wear. My partner previously reviewed the coast long sleeve shirt and the all-terrain trek pants after using them in the Andes for two weeks in rain and snow and some sun - fantastic. We have now spent some weeks in central australia using the same gear and it has been equally good. My highest praise is that we didn't think about the clothing the whole time - it was just there, performing perfectly. Great for sun protection - love the extra neck protection with the shirt. And the All-terrain Trek Shorts are great - stretchy, breathable, comfortable. And after sales service to die for. Tip: The sizing of the pants, shorts and shirts are very generous, so if you are deciding between two sizes, maybe choose the smaller.

I have purchased several items from Soartd recently and have put them to the test with 100% satisfaction. The quality of Soartd garments are far better than any of the high profile hiking clothing brands that I have previously purchased. Furthermore you are buying an Australian designed product that is reasonably priced. Service and delivery is A1. Well packaged and delivery tracking can be monitored from dispatch to your door. I highly recommend Soartd clothing to anyone who enjoys not just hiking but outdoor activities.

Wow. What a jacket. I purchased this jacket 2 months ago, in the middle of winter, and wore it everyday. As a work jacket, casual clothing, or activity clothing, this jacket ticks all the boxes. So comfortable, and practical, and everything works. Pockets in the right places, zippers that work, everything you would expect from a high end jacket. I purchased one size larger to accomodate a thicker under garment, however found on a cold day, a long sleeve T with the jacket could handle the Melbourne winter.

I have recently purchased some Soartd gear and have been more than impressed at the comfort, style and versatility along with the exceptional quality. There has obviously been a lot of thought and effort gone into designing each piece. Favourites so far are the long sleeve coast shirt, the long sleeve base grid tee and now the warmer weather is on its way the board shorts. I have a wide range of clothing from Soartd and it's actually hard to describe how impressive it is. You just have to give it a go! And you will be back for more. I find the quality outstanding, the design impressive, and the comfort and practicality superb. It's the clothing of choice for me on weekends and after work. I have used it for travelling overseas and it again demonstrates the practicality and comfort in spades. Well done Soartd!! Five stars for sure.

Fantastic quality gear and the best customer service I have encountered. I am bordelrline on the sizes and picked the large rather than the medium. I mentioned this in an email to Tim when I was asking about another item, Tim's response was to arrange a return if it was the wrong size even though it had been worn. Exchanged for the medium which is the right fit, Soartd covered postage and return. Customer service doesn't get any better than that!

What a find! Soartd is extremely efficiently run - from the website interface, to the prompt delivery of exemplary products.. There are fabulous ideas behind the cleverly designed clothes - minimalism, and, finding a feeling of ones true place, through focused activity. The clothes assist in the fruition of these ideas. The Base Grid Long Sleeve T Shirt is a great piece of kit. I wore the shirt on a 3 day bush walk and not once was it wet from sweat nor was there any odour. I especially liked the subdued colour and the unobtrusive advertising label. Its not often that the sales hype matches the reality of every day use however in this case it truly does.I have no hesitation in recommending this shirt to other bush walkers !

Amazing service from the crew at Soartd. I was borderline on the size chart, I chose the size up to be safe, but when my delivery arrived I found them too big. The crew were very quick to get me out the next size down, which fit perfectly! I ordered the wrong size shirt and had no trouble exchanging it. I contacted Tim and was told my correct size would be sent the next working day. It was sent as promised and I love it. I initially shopped at sorted because of the fabrics used within the apparel, It’s nice to see companies using reputable high quality fabrics. The customer service has been nothing but fantastic whilst the cut and fit of the clothing suited me well. Over months of usage the shirts and shorts have remained in shape, washed and worn well. Fast becoming some of my favourite pieces.

They have the best hiking clothing. Started with one item and now have 2 shirts, 3 tees, jeans, shirts, cap, pullover, and jacket. Wouldn't use anything else. The jacket was so good my Mother-in -law bright one and she hardly ever goes out. When I got the latest shirt my wife informed me it was too nice to hike in. We will see

Excellent quality. The Aussie design shows through with robust sewing etc on state of the art materials. Better and cheaper than High St shops. I now have half the range and its all innovative and excellent. Great personal service. Get it while it lasts, as I'm sure they'll get very busy.
