Solid Cycles really says it all in the name! Frank is a solid guy, who does amazing work at a fair price. I brought my 1991 Harley Sportster to Frank after I had previously put new signals on the bike at 109 Cycle Motorcycle Service. Shortly after I had the initial work done, the signals would occasionally stop flashing. After bringing it to Frank, he discovered that the previous mechanics had bunched up the stock wiring from the previous signals with zip ties (instead of shortening it), and the bundled wiring had been rubbing on the rear wheel causing the wire casing to break and connection to short. I never thought I would be paying money at a mechanic to get wires zip-tied; if I knew I was getting this I'd do it myself! Frank removed all of the previous mechanic's shoddy wiring job, installed newly sourced signals that he found, redid the wiring cleanly and tightly (away from my rear wheel), and added a load equalizer to the wiring so I could remove my front signals off the bike for a clean looking front end. He also replaced my handlebar risers and bushings as the bars had an unsafe wiggle to them, and my previous mechanics were unable (or unwilling) to install the ones I had / source me new ones. Even when i picked up the bike, Frank had topped up my tires and offered to adjust my clutch for me; even when the initial job was done! Frank got all the parts I needed hassle-free within a week; and installed everything on the bike within a day! This is amazing considering I had previously left my bike at my previous mechanic's for a month for pretty much the same tasks as Frank did, if not less. Frank's work and quick turnaround allowed me to get my bike back on the road safely, with no loss to my riding season! If Frank's work wasn't amazing enough, Frank saved me money off of his initial quote due to completing the job quicker. He was also super friendly and gave me the rundown on everything, and talked me through this work, and even out of expensive modifications I wanted to do: instead of just taking my money! Frank is definitely a straight-shooting solid mechanic, unlike the usual untrustworthy ones I've dealt with. Would recommend to anyone especially Harley riders for any scale of project; his custom builds are beautiful too!

Frank is the man! Solid Cycles came highly recomended to me by a friend, and I will definately be making the same recomendations! I will be taking my Harley to Frank for anything else I need doing in the future! I had a serious electrical problem with my HD Sportster after the previous owner had butchered the wiring. After a series of breakdowns and repairs I couldnt get it going and my knowledge had run out. It was a complete mess! Frank was amazing from the get go, great guy, easy to work with, really knowledgable and helpful. He outlined all of the potential costs to me before we started so I had an idea of what to expect and kept me updated with progress. Very generous with his time, fixed it very quickly, explained everything, and his pricing is great. Quality of work is amazing! My bike now runs like a dream and the wiring harness looks factory again! All in all fantastic shop, fantatic quality of work, and Frank is awesome! Once you use Solid you wont go anywhere else!

All of the reviews here are 100% accurate. Frank at solid cycles truly is a rarity in the automotive service industry. He stayed later at the shop to meet up with me and take a look at a bike that I had just bought (used). I thought it needed some tuning up and work but he was open and honest with me and assured me that everything was good to go. Being new to bikes, that was incredible to see... a guy who simply isn’t looking to make a dollar off of you, and will actually take the time to educate, explain and help someone out who is new to the bike game. Passionate, knowledgeable, respectable, and extremely organized (the shop was spotless!) I will absolutely be going back to him when it’s time to do some work! Cheers!

This review is way past long overdue. I met Frank at Solid Cycles around 2011. Heard of him by word of mouth. In my opinion the best kind of advertising money can't buy. I had only dealt with the stealership up until that point. Just like every other 5 star review here says. When it comes to your Harley Davidson. Frank knows best. Straight shooter no BS kind of guy. He built me one hell of a Bagger & now I am getting him to rebuild my Cruiser. Plain & simple. If you own a Harley Davidson & want something done right the first time. Go see Frank. Keep some extra cash in your pocket. Bring it to Solid Cycles.

Got recommended to Frank by a coworker who’s been riding Harleys for years. Needed rocker box gaskets replaced during the riding season, which usually means you’re waiting weeks for an appointment. Called Frank up and he told me to bring it by the following morning and will be ready by the afternoon. Franks knowledge of Harley’s shows first and foremost. Going through details of the jobs and even telling me about the brands he uses. Bike was done earlier than expected and the leak is fixed perfectly. Will be going to Frank and only Frank from now on

Frank at Solid Cycles breathes and sleeps motorcycles. From standard maintenance, to the most insane crazy custom idea that you can come up(In my case, a custom swingarm), Frank will find a way to get it done in a way that you never thought was possible. Not only is the work always done the right way, but Frank is always on time, or sometimes even faster and his prices are great. If you're looking for the best quality of work, and someone who will tell you exactly what you need to to get your bike where you want it to be, go to Solid Cycles.

By far the best experience i have ever had, with a shop. Frank did some stellar work on my Harley Davidson FXSTS. His vision for the bike exceeded my own. The work was done incredibly quickly and exactly as he communicated. He even went above and beyond, getting parts customized and installed. This kind of service would not be possible with other shops. I 100% recommend Solid Cycles and will be a long-term customer of theirs! Frank and Eric are both great people, who are extremely talented and extremely reliable. Thanks again to you both!

The shop name really says it all, Frank is a solid guy and a great mechanic. Highly recommended for your Harley repairs. My 1972 HD Shovelhead custom needed a weld & repair on front fork & fender mount on Arlen Ness chrome lowers. Frank delivered, with one day service. Other local Harley shop kept my bike for a week and wasn't able to repair it. It should be noted Frank works mainly on 1984 and newer Harleys, but he took up on my repair since it wasn't engine related and he can weld aluminum. Great shop!

What's there not to love about Solid Cycles? Frank is an incredible guy, an amazing mechanic, and a trustworthy guy to work with. I brought in my 2014 Iron 883 and he upgraded the tank from a 3.2 to 4.5 gallon, upgraded me from an 883 to 1200 and did a bunch of custom work (new seat, new rear lights, chopping off the fender, and more). His prices are fair, he's super communicative, and an overall great guy. Frank is the real deal and I can't recommend him enough. I’ll be back for sure.

I brought my Harley to SOLID CYCLES to have engine work done and I met the owner Frank Jezek. After a thorough conversation with him I knew I was in the right place as well as in good hands. He is 100% honest. He is an encyclopedia of knowledge. Frank's work is impeccable. His prices are more than fair. He is extremely patient. He is willing to walk you through every step of the work that he performs. He is the best without any doubt. Thank you.

  • Jimmy Falcone

It was my first time dealing with Frank at Solid Cycle and I can't say enough. He was fast and professional at responding. Frank saw my bike right away and resolved my issue within the hour. No other bike mechanic was able to solve this, including Harley Davidson. I can tell Frank is an expert at his craft and the kind of person all mechanics should strive to be. Frank is the only mechanic that will be working on my bike going forward.

  • Matthew Vanasse

I took my bike to Frank to have tires, forward controls and handlebars changed. He had to change out all of the cables(some of which he made himself) He was able to do it all in 2 days and his price was more than fair. He was meticulous about everything and made sure my bars and controls were set up exactly the way I wanted them. He knows his stuff and he's the only guy I'm taking my bike to. Pure quality

  • Philip Sywash

Frank is one hell of a bike builder. I've never witnessed such dedication from one individual. He'll take a job and make it a craft, and then turn it into a masterpiece. It's all in the little details, and you can see it in every weld he does. If you truly want to have the one of the best bikes in Toronto, then you gotta see Frank. Also, he's really easy to get along with, and makes you want to come back.

  • David Walsh

Frank is without a doubt the best Harley mechanic around. Amazing customer service, amazing work. I text him at 11pm with an issue. He spent over an hour on the phone with me trying to help trouble shoot the problem. That's customer service! That's why the only person I let touch my bike, is Frank. Not only a knowledgeable guy, but also a good guy, honest and personable. Thanks for all your help Frank.

  • Vincent Panepinto

I was working on building a bobber from a Harley Sportster and I got in over my head. Frank was able to pick up where I left off and diagnose an electrical issue, wire new turn signals, mounted new tires, and mount a new gas tank, handlebars, and speedometer. He was a huge help, very honest and patient. Now the bike is ready for Spring! Thank you! Highly recommend bringing your Harley to Solid Cycles.

  • Johanna Stewart

Frank is an underpromise and over deliver kind of guy and he really over delivered on my bike. He’s friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and prices fairly. He’s always looking to save you money which is rare in this business. I couldn’t be happier with what he's done to my bike and I highly recommend Frank to anyone that’s looking to get work done on their Harley. I’ll definitely be using Frank again.

  • Marshal Linfoot

Like the other reviewers, I can't say enough about Solid Cycles and the work of Frank Jezek. If you own an American made motorcycle, you owe it to yourself to have him work on your bike. He doesn't suffer the shoddy quick fixes that are all too common these days -- fix it right the first time and have peace of mind. And at prices you won't find anywhere else. Simply the best there is, period.

  • Michael Kassak

Honestly, I won't take my bike anywhere else. Frank is the only one I respect and trust when it comes to Harleys. His knowledge and expertise is second to none. His custom fabrication and work will leave you speechless. He's a great guy, always on time (sometimes even faster), great with communication and even better at his craft. Solid Cycles is the only place to go for Harley's.

  • Matt Rennick

I've been taking my bike(s) to Frank now for a while and I don't have a single bad thing to say. He's always been MORE than fair with me as far as price is concerned, gives me great advice, direction and of course does amazing work. If you've got a Harley and want something done right the first time, go see Frank The Tank at Solid Cycles!

  • CHARLIE CROWE

Frank came through on the day and rebuilt my shocks that were shot. Gave me a great deal, found parts that were impossible to find. He was meticulous about his work and his knowledge was 30 years of doing what he does. I would recommend anyone and everyone in the Toronto area to come get frank to work on your Harley.

  • Ryan Hryciuk

The one and only place to take your Harley. Frank is a perfectionist, his attention to detail and 30+ years of experience make him one of the best mechanics in T.O. To top it off he charges a fair price that beats everyone else in town by far. If you are looking to do some custom work Solid Cycles is the place to go!

  • Spencer Bowers

Frank is extremely knowledgeable and straight up. You will definitely get a level of service here that you will not receive anywhere else, and for a lot less then you will pay at HD or other shops. You won’t have to worry about some apprentice working on your bike either, Frank does all the work personally.

  • Jason Menard

Stopped in to check it out the shop and set up a time for a 3-hole service. Something came up on another job while I was there so he squeezed me in. Great old school place/approach and Frank does the work himself. Highly recommend for service/repair to your Harley if you want it done right the first time.

  • Steph Bigue

Re-laced some old BMW rims and brought them to Frank and he worked magic on them. He got the rim so true they won't even need weights. Super quick turnaround and solid rates. Frank puts quality first and it shows in everything he does. Highly recommend.
