I am very disappointed in the way management have handled things during the COVID-19 crisis. An initial email sent out saying that the park would remain open to those who are entirely self sufficient and do not require shared facilities. A weekend before the full lockdown was lifted, I went down to stay at our fully plumbed and fitted site and was refused entry, the gate code changed too. We were told that the whole park was closed, and when we mentioned only having received the one email reference above, the lady laughed at us, saying "that was such a long time ago" and that the park was since closed. When asked why no follow up email or text was sent to inform us of that, she said "we don't even really know what's happening". This was despite all notices at the office in the Noticeboard cases stating very clearly that the park was still open; I even pointed them out to her and she dismissed that as 'old news'. She refused to let us in and sent us on our way at 8pm back to Melbourne. This begs the question: if they don't know what's happening themselves, how do they know to close? A week or so later, we received the fees for the quarter, AND with an increase. The cheek! When questioned as to why 1. fees were still being charged in full and 2. they think it's reasonable to increase them, they stated that due to the park having remained open the entire time, they were required to cover their outgoing costs. Only because we disputed this as being entirely unfair did they offer to remove the increase for this quarter alone. No further mention of our refused entry was made. Disgusting. It is such a shame that we have made quite the cosy permanent site here because I would love to pack up and take my money elsewhere, to people who care more about the customers responsible for keeping them in business. Don't bother coming here, to visit, stay or live, there are plenty of other lovely sites in the area.

The staff here were so friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The cabin we stayed in had everything we needed to self cater but also a wonderful outdoor table and balcony to enjoy the morning sun and evening sundown. Although it was a bit chilly for the pool, the whole family had a great time in the large, communal games room. We played darts, had ping pong game or two and it even gave us mental space for the pack up when the kids watched the TV there for a while. A great family staycation. Looking forward to being back in the Summer months so we can wander down the 2 mins for a swim at the beach too.

Deanne & her friendly staff should really be congratulated for the level of service offered by this park. The place is always beautifully presented, the amenities are clean & fresh and nothing seems too much trouble. This is our third visit here, so we know just how special a place this really is. Apart from the spectacular environment that mother nature provides, the park itself has a wonderful vibe that sets itself apart from its opposition. Make no mistake, if you want to visit this part of the world to take in all its beauty, there is no better pace to stay. We'll be seeing you again Somers Holiday Village, soon I hope! Had a lovely time here in our campervan Last minute booking after having to leave a bushfire area. Suzanna was a delight dealing with our booking & Troy takes great care of the park & was very quick to deal with a power outage due to strong winds during our stay. A great spot 100m to the beach & fantastic local cafe. Having stayed in Rosebud & Dromana over many years it was a nice change to the quieter & slower pace of Somers. A day visiting the wineries & a clean weed free day on the beach. Pool & games room for the kids if needed. Highly recommended.

Great little getaway from the city. Very clean comfortable cabins for the family with plenty to do nearby. We did island hopping on the bay, visited Red Hill, Arthurs Seat and Cape Schank. All in easy distance. There was a temporary issue with the park laundry and the management did a great work around. Definitely recommended. And the Somers General Store in easy walking distance does great food.

Once again I had the pleasure of Andrew’s professional workmanship & prompt service.. nothing was too much trouble.. he goes the extra mile, is courteous, reliable & a real craftsman.. great sense of humour too & a lovely dog (Marley) which he asked if I mind if she sat in his car.. which she did very happily.. all in all.. I highly recommend Andrew.. thanks..

Great location unfortunately the manager’s aren’t very nice and judgmental different policies for different people! This could be a great place if it had decent management!
