I have worked with Jax on multiple projects over the last three years. I have benefitted from support and in-kind sponsorship from Sorse Gallery since they recently opened that as an emerging Aboriginal artist has been very gratefully received. I have found Jax to be respectful, responsive and highly professional in all of my dealings with him. I very much look forward to exhibiting my work at Sorse and highly recommend checking them out.

Sorse is a unique space helmed by a seasoned team. Their philosophy of wanting to support and empower emerging artists, or artists seeking an alternative display space, is highly commendable and only serves to contribute to the Brunswick and Victorian art scene. The Sorse team are dedicated to making state-of-the-art gallery showing more accessible, and I highly recommend choosing them for your next showing!

I have now attended multiple exhibitions at Sorse Gallery since their introduction into Melbourne’s art scene, and I have only ever experienced an inclusive, unique and welcoming reception. I would highly recommend any emerging, or seasoned artists, to consider Sorse for their next exhibition. For those just curious to check the gallery out, you will not be disappointed. I can not wait to visit again!

I have never written a google review before now, but I had a really disappointing experience with Sorse, so feel compelled to let other artists know. If you decide to show with this gallery make sure you read the terms and conditions carefully and also ensure your final works match exactly the examples in your submission.

Unfortunately I didn’t have a good experience working with Sorse. Despite having made full payment for a group exhibition, Sorse imposed an additional requirement for participating artists that was not originally specified in their terms. Consequently, our exhibition was cancelled and with no refund. Such a shame!

Had the pleasure of attending this gallery to view an exhibit earlier in the year. Annette and Jaxsun have a vast enthusiasm for the grassroots development of local artists and demonstrate that in their practice. Sorse Gallery is a great addition to the Brunswick artistic community. I was lucky enough to attend an exhibition earlier this year. Lovely light filled space and the exhibition was exceptional - powerful and thought provoking. Keep up the good work.
