The best bar in Taiwan I'd say for sure. We were visiting Taipei for 5 days and went to multiple different bars during our stay but nothing else was comparable to the experience that we had here. We initially had the signature Taiwanese district inspired cocktails (which are well-known for this bar) and it was already great to begin with. The mixologist, Jie, actually came out to speak with us aftetwards and told us the inspiration behind each cocktail. He even offered us options that were not on the menu which he thought we might enjoy after our conversation along with some new selections that're going to be included in the new menu in the near future! We were going to have two drinks each and ended up with 10 drinks in total by the time before we left! It was so fascinating to hear about the stories and we certainly hope that this place still exists when we're visiting Taipei next time. Also the other mixologist, Chou, was a super talented with crafts that he hand created some beautiful drinkware. I had to take home one of the hand made cement glassware that was made by him. Overall it was an amazing experience and we will definitely return if we have a chance to visit Taiwan again soon!! 希望今晚火鍋宵夜你們吃的開心 ~~ 再次感謝你們的熱情款待

Was only here for drinks. Cocktails seemed very cool that showed off the unique geography and history of Taiwan. However, the drinks I tried ended up tasting more like classics. I ordered the Miaoli 香茅 but tasted more in the lines of Moscow Mule. Suggestion would be to serve the drink in a tumbler glass and wrap the leaf around the glass while ditching the straw. Drinker would be able to smell the grass as they drink it, enhancing the flavor of the drink. I also ordered the 台中大甲. First two sips were good, but soon after, it seemed like I was just drinking Bailey's. Suggestion (but I know would be costly) is to add one chunk of taro in there. Else, use a layer of 芋泥 and put it on top of the glass, again using scent to enhance and trick the senses. Maybe because we sat at the bar, but the service for drinks was not as friendly as I would have hoped. Usually people sit at bars to enjoy the interaction with the bartender. No attention was paid by the bartender.

Well, I was waiting for my friend so decided to find a bar to kill my time. But I had a hard time locating this bar, walking back and forth of the street without noticing the entrance of this bar just right beside me, perhaps they needed something that caught much more attention from the people. But when I stepped up the stairs, the bar tenders were extremely friendly, explaining and talking a lot of stuff with me which I definitely enjoyed(maybe I was sitting at the bar table, if you are introverted and prefer to stay alone you can get a table) Drinks are good, good vibes. Overall I love their service. Recommended!

It's not wheelchair friendly

Some staff handled things professionally, others did not. Also not sure why they were playing the movie TV channel which was distracting and didn’t help with the atmosphere. No Christmas decorations (ok there was like one on the balcony door) nor music. Food was decent. Scallop risotto, Mexican meat sauce pasta, the baked cheese (fav) and egg, 蘿蔔糕 and the fries were nice. I personally didn’t like the beef intestine pasta so much. Drinks we liked the 桃園、高雄. The ice cream one (台中) was quite interesting but I prefer 桃園 better (it has tea). 高雄 was voted over 台南。 The idea is quite interesting as well. Big thanks to the staff who was willing to accommodate to our needs. 2022.12

Hands down the best cocktail bar I've ever visited, in Malaysia and Taiwan. They specialize in 木质 (woody taste) cocktail and they really bring the drinks to a whole new level. The smell, the taste, the after taste that stays in your mouth for forever.. I normally don't like cocktail but this makes an exception. Food is not bad too. Towards the end, they served us a new cocktail that they're going to put on the menu next month and oh boy, that tasted so good as well. It's woodiness in perfection. 10/10 will come back again. And will recommend anyone who goes Taipei to pay here a visit.

This is one of my favorite bars in Taiwan!! It's difficult to get to, almost like a speakeasy. The drinks take a while to make but that's because it's made so carefully! If you're new to Taiwan, the menu shows a map of Taiwan and each town has a special drink. This helped me learn more about the country. I've tried almost half the drinks on the menu and they're all great, it just depends what you're looking for. Also, I recommend getting the stairway drink, some of them aren't great but it's always fun to try samples of the drinks.

This restaurant is a great place to have a drink with friends or colleagues after work. The food is delicious and the seasoning is just right. You can ask the staff for recommendations on popular dishes. The cocktails here are made with local Taiwanese ingredients, and they are very special. This is a great place to relax and socialize. You can use credit cards and mobile payments.

Def one of the best bars in Taipei. It's english-friendly, the prices are OK, the drinks are very good but I'd recommend you to trust the bartenders to make something original. The workers are all very kind and open to chat a little while they make your drink. It's perfect for big groups of people as there are big tables, but it's also a cosy ambience for a chill moment on your own. As a foreigner, I'd say 10/10.

Awesome place! Wasnt expecting much when we found this place, but i must say the drinks here were amazing one of the best in Taipei. Alot of fusion experimental cocktails are offered, makes it unique. Food wise it is a mix of Taiwanese Street food and western cuisines, very interesting mix, but works nicely matched with the drinks. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The place is not very big, but has a wonderful ambience. Love it!

Would give a negative star if that was available. Service varies a lot depending on whether you are foreigners or not. I didn’t get welcomed or seated, staff actively ignored our service request, we were not allowed to seat on the couch because ‘others reserved it’ who never showed up. Probably the worst ever service I’ve even got in a restaurant + lounge bar.

It's safe to call this place of whiskey bar. Had a wide range whiskey options and a good amount of cocktail options. It also had very fancy cocktail presentation for some drinks. You can come here for food but I can't tell you how it is as I did not eat here. Overall very good bar for Taiwan.

The restaurant has a very cool vibe, and the service is truly remarkable. The food is delicious, fresh ingredients and wonderfully cooked! Good vegetarian options too :-) We stayed at AVANI+ as guests, so we could taste the breakfast as well, it was marvelous! I definitely recommend!

Kind staff, very unique cocktails but… I've waited mine for about 20 minutes while there was no other customers, and we both had more ice than drink (and I'm not exaggerating, giant ice cubes in both our NT300+ cocktails). Nice flavour, but can't recommend it.

Friendly staff, and delicious food with clean flavors. I went here with my wife and we split french fries (which were very crispy on the outside), had mushrooms, and a delicious sandwich that was like a club sandwich with the outside pieces of bread fried.

Friendly bar staff and good drinks at reasonable prices. Good place to hang out for a chilled night. A little tricky to find as it's on the 4th floor. Just find the Starbucks in the building and enter from the stairways towards the right!

Chill place to get cocktails. We came here with a group of 6 on a sunday night. I like the chiayi (lighter old fashioned). If you like taro, the Taichung is really nice.

Mr 偉哥 treated us the wine and we had the wonderful time here ! The food and speciality of wine are the best ever. This is the best bar ever and ever. If you come to Taiwan of Zhongshan area, you definitely can’t miss it.

Love this place! People are super friendly here! It's a little tricky to find cuz it's on the 4th flour. If you have time and would like to get a drink, you should totally check this place out and chill here for a while!
