I’ve been coming to this branch since I was a child, and now I have the pleasure of bringing my daughter to one of my favorite places! I love the staff, they are so friendly and helpful, the library is always clean & there are plenty of books, resources, free tutoring & activities for everyone. They are currently giving away free books which they update often, and I have found some really great read so for myself and my daughter. My daughter is in second grade and got her first chapter book from the library’s free collection. She’s really has an interest in reading and is reading at a fourth grade level. I am grateful for this gem in Soundview. It’s important to keep our libraries open for the youth.

I've been coming here for years. I have tutored many students at this branch. As a mom of three it's been amazing to come to a place that is welcoming, caring and overall has exceptional service. All the staff members are amazing. They all go above and beyond. Since I've come here I don't want to go to any other library. I am able to homeschool my kids there, my kids love the space and they get so excited. A great collection of books for everyone. Before the pandemic they used to have a drawing and toys section which my children loved. Hoping they will bring that back. So many great things and I am so grateful to have this resource. TO ALL THE STAFF THANK YOU!

Es fácil de llegar , no tiene parqueo , deberían de poner a una persona que sea bilingüe , es limpia , está muy bien equipada , le ayudan a los niños bien , recomiendo que apliquen para la tarjeta de la biblioteca , abren alas 9.00 am y cierran alas 5.00 pueden cambian los horarios , acceso a silla de ruedas .

I was really impressed with this library. It’s not super big but is bright and clean inside. This branch boasts a computer lab and a nice kids section with plenty of children’s books, seating and activities (including some STEM toys). My toddler really enjoys coming here.

I needed to use the computer and the printer, omg the guy at the register was so nice and polite . The security guard was also a big help. They were so nice I signed up for a library card. I haven't taken a book out in about a decade.

all my favorite books are here but the very new ones but i hate when the other people who uses the library rip the pages out once i got a book and 50 pages where gone its very annoying

Big fan of public libraries in general and this branch is great . Attentive staff and many offerings of programs. Get your library card and your culture pass and enjoy !

Excellent customer service the staff is super polite and helpful good movie selections love this library. Nice and clean after the renovations god bless them.

I have to say that this library is the one of the best .... they really step up and renovated the building... now its attractive like never before.

The librarians help us search for stuff and it helps me because when I can't get find a book or need help with the printer they help me out

It still is my favorite library in The Bronx, very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff! They also have an awesome chess program!

I love the place i play with my friends there on the computer it’s very quite and fun but the staff can be a bit annoying
