The SAMFS is a great place to work. It's not just a job, but a lifetime love, which extends into a fulfilling career. The people are like minded and have public safety in the forefront of their minds. It is the unexpected that keeps the job exciting. You never know what the next minute brings, and that unknown is what is different about being a firefighter. There are dangers at every job we attend but risks are inherit in this occupation. You need to be a special kind of person to take on and cherish this chance to serve the public in such a gratifying way. Good luck if that is your challenge.

My goodness this is quite an iconic modern building. I was walking from my hotel on Franklin to the Vailo Adelaide 500 V8 Supercars track when this stopped me for its dynamic beauty/interest. Big too. Thank you for your service.
