New to Melbourne bought a car need a roadworthy to transfer it so took I into these guys after paying $185 I was handed a list of things wrong with the car that needed to be fixed costing over $1500. Feeling I was being ripped off I took the car to a second place I get a second opinion I didn’t tell them I had done a check already and wanted to see if I’d get the same result. To my shock the second place gave me the roadworthy for $150 and told me the car was perfect no issues and even asked me if I wanted to sell it to him. I’ve now transferred the car into my name and called the $185 a loss but it’s clear they can’t be trusted and where looking to rip me off.

I would actually give them a zero star for customer service, lack of empathy, pure rude tone when dealing with clients. No solution provided. I understand that times are busy but there is a way to address and talk to people. Bought my car from here and have been getting it serviced for 5 years but always have had issues. I kept going back as I thought I was locked in with South Morang Mitsubishi service for the warranty period. Better late than never. I called up another service provider and they were amazing, helped me out, took time to understand my problem and were genuine.

Would highly recommend these guys as I have found them trustworthy and professional. I went with a car almost dry of engine oil. They topped up the oil and booked me in for the next available service. I dealt with Arthur and he was great in explaining me the issues and what to do. Will definitely be going back to them from now. I have mostly used car service centers with franchise models including one in the area and pretty sure got ripped off most times.

As a twenty something female I’ve always felt apprehensive taking my car in for services because truly I know nothing about cars and it would be very easy to take advantage of that. The staff at South Morang service centre are always so honestly and kind. Checking before they do anything that would cost, and getting things done with quality work. Thanks for making trips to the mechanics a little less daunting! Highly recommend.

I generally treat reviews with a grain of salt but in this case they were 100% right. I took my car here thinking I had an electrical issue, as my engine had a weird buzz and my brake lights blew. turns out it was just the bulbs. they fixed it on the spot and it was super cheap. very grateful, and I will be back. If your looking for an honest mechanic you cant go wrong here. I highly recommend

Thought I had an issue with my ball joints, turned out to be something loose in my steering rack.. They fixed it on the spot and didn't charge a cent. Very honest mechanics and I recommended for this reason as there is a lot of dodgey rip off mechanics out there. Will be back for sure!

South morang service centre will be the only mechanics I will go to now. They really look after you and are not there just for the profits. Speak to Arthur as he has a genuine guy and very easy to communicate with. I will also add that they are fast and reliable workers

Would not recommend them they service my car transmission over tighten sump bolt it started to leak missing bolts which weren’t put back .took car back wouldn’t fix it they said there too busy Had to pay another person to fix it Very disappointing

Great service center for your car. Always friendly and very reasonable prices. Will try to make sure you are not paying too much by suggesting they can look for alternative parts for you if you want. Somewhere you are happy to come back to.

The best place to get your car serviced. They are very helpful and very friendly staff. Just look for Arthur he will look after you very well. I have been going there for 4 years now they are also reasonably priced.

One of the last honest mechanics around! Had my old Land Cruiser leaking fuel, Arthur and the boys had it fixed in under 24 hours. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Can't recommend this place enough.
