for a place with limited resources they consistently overacheive. community and alumni involvement here is special. not like any inner city youd ever see... always getting better and internally correcting itself..... Ivy Leaguers, Professionals, and World Champion athletes all call this place home. Though the school changed from white to black around 1965, Roots and Traditions are DEEP for both the white and black alumni. In 1976 this school had as many alumni in the NFL as the University if Texas . It's not uncommon to see a 1963 or 1961 Alumni website for this school. nothing like it
Some of the best minds have come out of SOC: accomplished journalists, doctors, engineers, civic and corporate leaders, attorneys, and entrepreneurs. I've volunteered at my Alma Mater, SOC for the past 6-plus years in different capacities AND we still possess and cultivate brilliance. Don't quite get the hate but am willing to do my part to keep the legacy of excellence alive at the Mighty South Oak Cliff High, Dallas, Texas. Go SOC Bears!

I go to school here in the class of 2k20 and we learn good here Dr. Jhonson has really brung order to this school

It was a great attending south oak cliff high school, sometimes i wish i can attend again.
