BUYER BEWARE!! SCAM ALERT! This week I was scammed out of my deposit by SPMG and their dishonesty. Here are some of the tactics used when trying to purchase a vehicle from their yard. All of this was witnessed by my mechanic who inspected the vehicle. Knowledge of vehicle having inoperable steering wheel controls, dash tripmeter, reverse camera and cruise control was denied, but “if we could come to a deal” would all be fixed” Despite items being contracted conditions, they were not all fixed. And deposit refund due to breach of contract denied. When I said I didn’t want to put down a deposit until finance was sorted I was told: “Mate, you’ve been confirmed for finance, you’re a shoe in.. now my team is just working to get you the best deal possible.. if it doesn’t come through, your deposit will be refunded in full.” After receiving a ridiculous rate of 20%, I shopped elsewhere, all 3 other brokers couldn’t believe the rates offered by SPMG, to which I have now received a rate of less than a quarter for a vehicle from another seller. Despite this fact, my deposit refund was denied, as “we got you a finance rate, you just chose not to take it” Car was advertised at $17,990 including onroads. when I sat Down to sign contract, all onroads had been added to the price. Luckily I read the contract and picked up on this, as the yard played the “oh I didn’t realise that’s how it was advertised” card. Despite the yard delaying poor finance approval, and RWC and incomplete condition adjustements past the 3 day cooling off period. Even if assured your deposit is refundable. Corners will be cut, and if it’s still unsatisfactory, the blame will be on YOU and your deposit will be lost. Even if consumer affairs says that it should be refunded.. which they did. SPMG will likely bank on the fact that you won’t take them to VCAT.

Buyer beware. Traded my immaculate vehichle for what was supposed to be an over serviced vehichle that had all the bells and whistle. Have t even done 4 tanks of fuel . First drive after purchasing $70000 dollar car stopped with me the wife and kids and dogs in the back on the side of the freeway in the middle of nowhere . Was assured a new part was going to be sent to me 3 months later after many calls and nothing . After threatening to take it further they rock up with a second hand part that made no difference. Meanwhile all uni joints where ceased rear main seal leaking Aircon not working properly . Interior lights don’t work clutch failed . Turbo has failed, proper matchanic advised that the transmission is about to die along with the rear diff. . Since found holes in the tray big enough to fit a football through covered by toolboxes.handbrake not functional . Was advised they were going to replace the turbo. After they had it for a week I was told it will be another week .. as if 4 months without a functioning car wasn’t bad enough. So I collected the car to discover they had a eBay special turbo instead of a genuine replacement . Not to mention they sold the car with no muffler and oversized tyres seaming the vehichle un roadworthy .. a real good sales man I’ll em that .. do not buy anything from these guys … they sell mutton dresses as lamb .. I’m about to lodge complaints with the accc and vic roads. I’ve requested my money back in exchange for the dodgey vehicle..

Bought a Kia sorento from Matt this year. Nice and approachable, very easy to deal with. He offered to get a number of small cosmetic issues with the car fixed before handover which was great. Very happy to recommend.

Guys the vehicles have problems The guys isn't that honest I bought a ute and I had issue and he never fixed them I don't recommend at all !
