The mall had no visibility of securities as well as shop directories. The food court is quite big but could use the assistance of restaurant staff to ensure the people get assistance as the queues outside the restaurants were long and people were confuses to which queue is for which restaurant. The middle sitting area had dirty tables, making it hard to sit and wait for a table in the restaurant. Dischem staff was very very helpful. The toilets are clean though

Customer's who use uber or bolt are being sent from pillar to post with different pick up locations every month. Today 8 December 2023, car guard rudely indicated that customers of the mall have to wait in the sun at the stop sign - Pick 'n Pay entrance. Does the management of the mall approve of this? Surely not, I will think twice before shopping at the mall again. Seriously inconvenient and embarrasing to be shouted at by a car guard

Its a nice place with very friendly staff. They helped us when we had left our keys inside the cinema.The control room operator and the night security guards were all very helpful and kind. They rest assured us that our car will be safe until we come back the following day. They also helped us to uber home. I would like to thank everyone who worked night shift on the 27th of may.

One thing that I hate is seeing elderly people that have requested for Bolt/Uber been told that they must walk a distance to get their rides that's very disrespectful just because of taxi drivers n meter drivers this is really unfair take them back to entrance 6 we enjoyed coming to Southgate mall now we don't

It has everything you need , it's hard to review the mall as a whole because there are individual shops but the mall is clean and pleasant to walk through. Not the safest area though and you should keep your belongings close to you at all time. There was ample parking space and I did enjoy my time there.

Lifts are not working Staff members are lazy and rude They have a nice food court and arcade games. Long queues and crowds month end No directory Big enough with a small taxi rank inside the mall gates Nice fast food restaurants and dine in at Spurs and Rocomamas, they also have Moja Cafe

Beatiful Clean safe Mall with a vast variety of shops. They still have the legendary Sweets from Heaven... Plenty free parking. Always abuzz with people of the South. It's a halfway oasis for me, driving to and from work. Always looking forward for the next visit...

The TimeBank assistant at Total Sport had a very friendly and welcoming approach. Service was quick and efficient. However the male Total Sport assistant, when I entered the store, he looked at me, and asked he could help. His approach was not welcoming at all

A very small mall relative to other ones I've been to. Many shops lacking. Worst place to be be the end of the month. Good for grocery shopping and if you need basic clothing. It has its benefits though, the food court has many eating places and is very big.

Overwhelming full, you will do rounds looking for people fighting over parking spots. This was my first time at Southgate mall I just went in because they had a store in there that had a possibility of stock that I needed.

I luv southgate mall because is in the middle of everything...meaning nearby townships...like naturena,earoton,diepkloof,freedon park,devland,Eldorado park,rigeway etc.....and with the renovations it's look very nice....

I went there for a job interview and the staff was very friendly and accomodative. The overall aesthetic was pleasing. They even have a place to sit, enjoy your meal, charge your phone, meet new people, etc. I loved it!

Please can you guys fix your toilet doors and locks. All the toilet locks have been broken for months .....and your cleaners rudely just push the doors open whilst we in the toilet....I am totally disgusted

I went to Specsavers for spectacles. Tests were done and I was helped in choosing a frame. What's more R1500 was deducted from the price of the frame. The eye Tests were thorough and professionally done.

Great shopping experience, large walk way, easy to locate shopping stores, public toilet are are kept clean , security is tight an individual can be safe while enjoying the all the mall experience....

It's one of the biggest malls and located in close area which means you won't have to travel a long distance to get there. There's a lot of entertainment and kids play area and highly safe mall

Pnp, checkers, clicks, pep etc still do parcel counters instead of investing in modern day security. The mall is not great to be honest and you likely to get robbed or scammed.

I was there to pick up my friend, but from what I recall, this mall has enough shops to choose from, enough parking space, cinema and food court. It's beautiful

Overall it's an easy to navigate mall, it'll be best though if they can route traffic to 'in use' exit points out of the mall more especially as dusk fall
