I overheard one of the management team member asking or complaining as to why people are moving out... although this is a friendly establishment, well maintained and the lot manager is as friendly and helpful as could ever be, the owners keep raising the rates. When it comes that time of year where the tenants may be able to save a buck or two if only for a couple months with a lower electricity bill because the weather change, you all go and raise the rent. No extra amenities, but higher fees. We've had about three months of terrible service with the internet issues here which is included in the package. Never did we receive a break in the bill there... still paying for something we were not receiving. So if you guys are wondering why people are leaving, it's because you sign us up for a lower rate, and raise it at your own convenience and effective approx. 6 days before the bill is due. Therefore leaving us in the hot summer season to pay higher light bill along with your raised pad lot increase. For example, $700 pad lot fee plus approx. $160 light bill minimum... brings us to $860 minimum.... people who are leaving might as well be paying rent or mortgage elsewhere. For those who were just here for work it didn't matter to them because there employer was paying for their lot but those of us who were planning on being here to stay and now due to the raise in lot fees, have to leave. Hope this answers your questions as to why people are coming and going.

Stayed here in 2020 and tried to reserve another place for July 2022. Found out we were blacklisted from staying there because of aggressive dogs. I have 2 sweet non aggressive dogs (LABS). I called Jennifer to try and get an explanation and she said dogs my dogs were off leash. She is full of it! My Dogs were never off the leash. They did however have a group of kids with parents fishing in a catch and release lake and they were catching and killing the smaller fish and keeping the bigger ones. I confronted them about this. I guess they complained to Jennifer and we were blacklisted from this place with her using aggressive dogs as an excuse. Does not matter to us. We will find another place. Sad that they take other peoples word and have the God Syndrome.

CONS: Bathrooms and showers are quite far from RV sites (maybe 2 blocks from our site) and there is no pool nor jacuzzi as advertised. Also, the smaller electric outlet on our site didn't work. Drainage isn't great in the park so on a rainy day you're walking through puddles in and out of your shower to your RV. Had a couple small cockroach friends in the shower. PROS: It was at least quite and felt safe. It's a 10min drive from some restaurants and Sam's club which was helpful. One thing that was excellent was very high speed internet. Laundry area was clean with pretty good machines that were fairly quick - only takes cash for a laundry card. We were thinking to stay 3 nights and only stayed 1.

This is a nice, fully gated RV Resort. They have full concrete pads to park on. The main building has a small workout room with Row station, treadmill and multi station weight machine oh and popcorn. The laundry mat uses money card so leave your coins behind. The showers are nice and large. They have a nice pond with a sitting area to enjoy as well as a pavilion with refrigerator and gas grills, so you can have your friends and family meet while cooking outside. There is on site propane filling station. The staff has been very friendly and maintain the property daily. I have really enjoyed my stay here and will return again.

Lived here for 4 months and from the beginning I've never had a more Awesome Property Manager than Jennifer Allen. She is by far the most hard working, detail oriented, and caring Manager I've ever had at an RV Park(especially during Hurricane Harvey), and we've stayed at many between here and Idaho. We hated to leave but work calls. The Property Owners should know what a True Gem they have in a Property Manager here. You definitely don't find any as good as Jennifer that can make your home away home feel so comfortable. Thank you so much Jennifer, we will miss you!

I would give Southlake a 1 star rating the site manager was snoby and rude talked about everyone behind there backs accused people of doing things that they didnt do. I stayed there for almost 4 months. I was asked to leave the computer office one evening at 8:30 pm when the computer office is not supposed to close till 10pm. My kids couldn't go outside and play on our site with out getting a email fron the site manager, but other kids could run up and down the roads into other peoples sites and nothing was ever said to them. So honestly I'm glad I left from there

Without a doubt the best RV park in Houston! Friendly staff, nice big areas, and the park is well maintained. However the issues I had were - my neighbors smoked weed and I could smell it in my RV, you cannot wash your RV or car yourself (even though everyone still does at night), internet would go out every night around 10pm for awhile and slow way down and the park maintenance crew sometimes came in so early in the morning that they woke me up by leaf blowing right outside my RV. With that said, it is still a great park.

We stayed here twice over two different periods and still absolutely loved it. Management: 5/5 for their promptness and customer service Actual padsite: 5/5; wide for a big rig and a car Amenities: 2/5; I never personally used their on-site amenities like gym and business area so I can't give an honest assessment. Overall, if you are in the 77047 area and traveling in a RV, this is the place to stay as it's gated and it's quite quiet despite being near a major highway.

I lived in my RV for several years after Hurricane Harvey. Park is awesome and gated. Great and safe place to stay if you’re just passing thru or have a need to be close to Houston medical center. Ms. Jennifer is an amazing, hardworking manager that knows every person and watches over everything. The traffic situation is only issue.

My favorite ever. Jennifer in the office is so nice and helpful. The park is clean and smaller than some other parks which is a bonus here. It feels comfortable and more safe than other parks. Everyone is pretty respectful of each other, picks up their pet waste, and I have never had to complain about a thing. The lake is pretty and I love to sit on the patio furniture and watch the turtle and ducks. Great amenities. Feels like home!

I have been staying in SouthLake for close to 6 months and it has been an absolute pleasure living here. Jennifer is an absolutely amazing person and property manager, she is very quick to take care of any problems with the Resort and also very helpful with any questions or concerns being this is my first time doing the camper lifestyle. I look forward the upcoming months while living and working here in Houston with Team Rubicon.

Wonderful amenities and staff. Secluded location in the city and close to shopping and entertainment. Close to multiple free/toll ways and short distance from downtown. Clean restrooms and showers. Club house hang out area with workout equipment, ice/water machine, fresh coffee, popcorn, seating, tv, outside starting, fire pit, fishing, etc. BBQ gazebo with 2 grills and tables. Highly recommend for short or long term stay!

This place is great! The people that stay here are friendly. This is the second time me and my husband have come. But the #1 reason we decided to come back is Jennifer . Jennifer goes above and beyond for all of us here. If we ask for something, she has all the answers. The most friendly person I've come across that has worked at any RV park we have stayed at. As long as she's here we will always come back.

Our stay at Southlake was great. The park is very clean and exceptionally well maintained. The staff was very accommodating and informative. Their level of site security was good with controlled access along with on site staff. Overall for our first RV experience as new owners they set our standard of minimum expectations, I hope they did not spoil us. Thank you to Southlake RV Park for the great service.

My husband and I along with our 2 young children stayed here for almost two weeks and we had a great experience. The park is very nice, quite and clean with lots of amenities. It’s a very nice rv park. The property manager Jennifer is amazing. She was extremely nice and helped answer any questions we had. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while in Houston!

Very Nice. We are here due to our son needing care from MD Anderson Cancer Center. The grounds, building, and entire facility is a 10 on the scale of 1 to 10. The Property Manager Mr. Lonnie Meador has been absolutely wonderful and a tremendous help with directions and information. Clean, quiet, convenient, friendly, best in Houston! We are here in a Motorhome with tow.

Very clean facility. Friendly staff. WiFi and Cable is awesome never messes up for us. The laundry room is great the washers/dryers work super well! We’ve been staying here about six months and it’s very quiet despite having quite a few guests. I do wish it had a pool/playground, the website was misleading but you can’t beat the location and amenities it does have.

Safe behind gates, clean, organized. HOWEVER dog poop is major problem. It's pet owner's responsibility to pick up, but sadly not all do. This area was disgusting... I could barely walk my pups without stepping in poo. Rules need to be better enforced. If you advertise a pet area, you at least need to send staff member out once every day or two to clean up.

We stayed at several Quality RV Resorts. We had some wonderful experiences, but at Southlake, I must say that Jennifer and her crew is unbeatable. Jennifer is so caring and loving, a matter of fact, she is the reason why we decided to stay at Southlake. She makes you feel welcome. Thanks Jennifer and your wonderful crew. Quality Rv Resorts are the best.

We stayed at southlake rv resort and it was great.....the staff was very friendly and very clean facilities ....very friendly people in the resort as well....we loved it hope to come back again...thanks southlake rv resort for making our stay an awesome experience....I do recommend this southlake rv resort if your ever in Houston.....

I have lived at Southlake for two years. It is a wonderful place. I have never had any problems and feel safe. Jennifer the manager is truly a beautiful person. She does a great job of keeping the resort running and is such a sweet person. I will miss being here but am looking forward to my next adventure.

Being at Southlake was great. We had to stay there for an extended period of time during medical treatment at the Medical Center. It was very close to highway access, which was convenient. Access to shops and grocery stores was literally minutes away. The setting was quiet and peaceful. The staff were all very pleasant.

We've been here since April. We were here during hurricane Harvey.. Needless to say, not one sign of standing water during the catastrophic flooding. I was and still am incredibly impressed! The "locals" are absolutely amazing and friendly, as is the staff! The entire park is clean, well kept, and safe!

Great accommodations!!! Friendly and helpful!!! So glad I found this place. I travel and park in 3 to 4 parks a year and the management of this park is by far the best I have ever seen. I can't say enough good things about this park. Kudos to Mr.Meador and Pat for making my stay with you top shelf!!!!!

wifi isnt great. water pressure is very bad. They advertise hot tub and pool. They Have neither. Cable is a lil sketchy fuzzy on some channels and great on others. it is clean and quiet. if you want to do laundry yhey have a nice facilicty. But you have to buy a card then load it. Somewhat of a pain.

Staff is pleasant, especially Jenifer, always smiling and waving as she makes her rounds, clean environment,all ages stay here and seem to enjoy themselves

Small and quiet park. Little tricky getting to due to all the construction in the area, but not hard. Everyone we met was nice including a few campers. We drove through from Fort Stockton, Tx on our way east so it was a quick stop. Nice level concrete site over looking a little pond area.

I stayed here after a heart and liver transplant! The staff helped make my transition back to being normal by being friendly and helpful also the amenities were great the gym, safe to walk and park, and the lake to just sit an relax and watch my boys and mom fish all was a bonus.

Decent place. Clean and seems well run but major issues were horrible Wifi which resulted in having to use hotspots to have access as well as constant dog parking from the kennel across field/woods. Few other minor issues but the horrible wifi was biggest problem

This is a wounderful and peaceful place to be sadly we have to go wish to stay hope whoever wants to come here a fun time try fishing or lifting a few weights or check out the computer room its kinda fun also the sky is always very beautiful in the mornings lol

Very nice RV park. Well maintained. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. It would be great if the city would widen the entrance road. It would be dangerous or even impossible if two RV's had to pass each other on that road.

We Stayed for 6 days. it was awesome. Nice. Clean. QUITE !!!! The 2 ladies on staff was Great. they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. ALSO DOG FRIENDLY!!!!!! We will be back.

I lived at Southlake for 7 months. It was a great experience! Though I was a woman, living alone, I always felt safe. The facility is very well maintained, and the manager, Lonnie, is a gem!

My husband and I went to check out a place for a family member and what a great little hidden oasis. Clean areas and large spaces. We will be back with our Rig for a visit. Friendly campers.

The grounds were very clean and the space in between rows was plenty large for a 40' bus. We enjoyed the view of the lake and it was close to everything but still quiet.

This is an oasis near the Medical Center in Houston. Staff are all so very helpful and caring. Grounds are always impeccable. A wonderful home away from home for anyone.

I didn't wind up staying here. The park looks nice but the lots are extremely small, if you put out your awning its almost touching your neighbor.
