Pool and Spa World is part of the Tankworld business of Tasmania. One star would be too much for the level of service and customer support received. I contacted the company in order to have a spa serviced at my new property. I asked what the service entailed and was directed to the website where the following was presented: Complete SPA SERVICING Complete Spa Service - from $135*. • Drain, Clean and Sanitise Spa • Fill spa and balance water • Clean Filters • Clean spa, cover, cabinet and treat with protectant • Check ozone and UV system • Inspect spa equipment (pumps and controls) • Spas up to 1,500 litres • Spa Servicing can be done on request or at set service intervals eg. 3 monthly, 6 monthly or annually as required. Well, Was I surprised by what was actually done.....Eventually the odd-job man came around (I call him this as he obviously wasn't a spa expert). My wife was shown how to service the spa, and sold a bunch of chemicals to maintain it....But how can you maintain something that hasn't been serviced. All that was done was a filter was removed and my wife advised to take it to the main shop (40 mins drive) and get a replacement. Oh and this lovely scam cost me $300 and I still don't have an operating spa. The water wasn't drained, the spa not cleaned, and I was told by the office manager that this was because it was inside the house (it actually sits on an outside under cover secure deck, 1m from a tap and 2m from a drain to remove the water to). My wife did visit the shop, but as "they don't sell those types of spa, they couldn't identify the filter and then told me that there was likely another filter in the machine and my wife should check (she did easily find that second filter). Furthermore I have been told that the spa does not fit government safety fencing requirements, well being in a locked enclosed deck area, it certainly does. Overall, if you want your pool or spa serviced in Tasmania, don't pick a company that specialises in Tanks, I should have taken this as an indicator to how good things would go from there....Oh and check out the reviews for the tank part of the business too, customer service is something they do not specialise in.

The team at Tankworld, Pool and Spa World Tasmania were great to deal with when purchasing our new spa. We were living interstate when we made the selection and the team were great responding to emails, taking phone calls, advising us of delivery dates etc. Once the spa was in place in our new build, Phil from the Glenorchy store personally did a hand over with us when we were visiting the house during the school holidays. He travelled twice to our new home to ensure we could enjoy and look after the spa in the short time we were there. Since that time Phil has taken phone calls from me asking questions about how to look after the spa until our move to Tassie in November this year. Thank you to Tankworld, Pool and Spa World Tasmania for your help. We are going to love our spa for many years to come.

Ordered and paid in full in good faith for pool cover on 9/12/22. Paul guaranteed delivery in 2 weeks from their supplier. We questioned was that the case with Christmas approaching? Paul assured it was. Finally picked it up 20/1/23. We had called them several times, not once did they call us even though they promised to call us back. Even when it arrived, they didn't call us, though they said they had and left a message. Strange, no missed calls with message on mobile from them! On picking up cover, no apology or anything. Would not recommend purchasing from this retailer. Customer service non existent and attitude quite angry towards my wife on phone when simply trying to find out when it would arrive.

We purchased our spa from here nearly two years ago. At the time of sale, customer service was excellent with all our options thoroughly explained to us. Free water testing has been provided since. We only just recently had an issue with the spa and it suddenly stopped working. The technician promptly came out to assess and repair the problem. All fixed under warranty. They followed up the following week to check that all was still running smoothly. All round, a smooth and hassle free process for both sales and servicing. Highly recommended.

Phil and his team are the most knowledgeable, approachable and supportive spa sellers we found in Tasmania (and we did a lot of research and comparing). The support doesn’t stop after spa purchase, we are continually impressed with the detailed information and support we get with our water quality and balancing. I highly recommend them.

After years of working hard to finally be in a position to make such a big purchase of a swim/spa, we shopped about but the Phil and the guys at Spa World in Glenorchy made it a stress free process, took care of us from beginning to delivery and we could not be more happier with going through Spa World

Technician came to my house to quote for a Spa repair which included pump replacement. I emailed back a few months later for an updated quotation and after a further three email requests still have not had a response. Have since taken my business elsewhere

Lisa is very helpful and a pleasurer to deal with . I was very happy with the service we resaved in these hard time . We use the Fisher 5 spa when we can time day or night .

Really helpful and friendly staff, would give the time to answer any questions and show anything, even though she knew I couldn't buy from the store as I'm not from Hobart.
