This is an update review - The spa director reached out to me and helped solve all the issues. There is no complain when you noticed the teething issue but they paid attention right away. I’m very glad everything works out. **************************************** First of all- I love the new spa! They priced well and have a lot of promotions! Respect to the SPA director. However my experience on Friday is a mix. 1. My nail service - Taylor is amazing! I would give her a full 5 star review for everything! 2. Front desk - 2 star- I didn’t get her name but she could be more welcoming and friendly (no smile on her face the whole time, I don’t know if I did anything wrong ??) Plus when someone mistaken my appointment- my friend called in changed once to make sure we are going to have spa day together but somehow the time got messed up, I didn’t get a chance to meet my friend. Also more than 50% of service question- for example, package pricing, fine print, she doesn’t know any of them. Weird. In the end, I’m trying to fit all my service into one day, she couldn’t figure out the massage therapist’s schedule and told me she will call me back but she never did. The massage I received - 4 star. Because the time got messed up, they cut off my 90min service to 75min, in the end I did get a 10% discount. First of all the 15min worth more than 10% discount, secondly I wasn’t informed that I will be cut short, the massage therapist just left when the time is up. But the massage is good. I signed up for two monthly service and willing to be a loyal customer. But the service could be better especially the receptionist. One more thing worth only one star- the hair dryer in the shower room is gross! See picture

WARNING: This is a long one. Let's start with Nicol and Kendel at the front desk. They set a high standard for services to come by greeting you with warmth and kindness! Thank you for making my first impression of the place such a great and memorable one! If you enjoy working out the stiffness and soreness in your muscles, Sheneke is the massage therapist you need! She has magical fingers! Sheneke performed a 50 min Petal Blossom, Deep Tissue Ritual, and Muscle Repair Ritual. Lastly, I finished my spa services with Emily, the aesthetician, who performed an incredible 50-minute Hydra Facial and ended it with a Headache Relief Ritual. Right after our session, I could see a cleaner, clear face. All I can say is WOW! I was astonished the Spa Director was very hands-on with guests. Ms. Antoine gave me a tour and served me champagne. I want to thank the staff who assisted me in having a wonderful and relaxing day. From the variety of products available in the women's locker (my fav are the scrubs!), the cozy zen lounge, and delicious teas, this spa is one of the best I have been to! I do my homework when visiting spas. All the listed positives above are the reasons for the well-deserved awards and recognition. Great job, Spa by JW Marriott! Keep it up!

Today was my first time going to the spa at JW. The staff made me feel so warm and welcome. The front desk was super helpful, their hospitality was outstanding. Niylah Patel, (I might be spelling her first name incorrectly. My apologies!!!). But Ms. Patel was absolutely amazing. She was warm, kind hearted, intentional with everything she did. She gave me an amazing prenatal massage in which I felt cared for and comfortable the whole time. I am in bed writing this review and for the first time in months, I’m actually looking forward to quality sleep! I will absolutely be back. Everything was so clean, and beautiful. 10/10.

Was in town for a conference and decided to spoil myself at the spa. Sheneke, my massage therapist, gave me one of the best deep tissues I’ve had in a long time. Emily my skin girl gave me a hydra facial since my wife convinced me to do one and all I can say is wow! My skin felt more plumped and hydrated. I also had a tea ceremony and that may have been the coolest thing I’ve experienced, picture hot tea brewed over an open flame with fresh local honey. Such a great experience and I will return every time I’m back in Charlotte.

I booked a facial and a massage. The lady I requested for massages called out and wasn’t there. They allowed me to cancel my massage, seemed a bit unorganized on what worker was assigned to which customer. The manager did give me a discount but you can find a better spa in Charlotte if you’re local to area. The facial was decent but as an avid spa goer there’s others places in Charlotte you can go and get better service. They also don’t validate parking so overall I don’t think it’s worth it.

This spa plus location is definitely worth booking. The atmosphere is very relaxing and it's extremely well kept. I got the hot stone deep tissue massage from Jessica. She was wonderful and made everything super comfortable. Shana showed me all of the amenities they had and offered me a glass of Prosecco! Kendall was a very professional host and helped the waiver process go smoothly. Will definitely return to try facials next! Awesome job JW spa team!

I loved everything about my services here. I mistakenly booked the wrong package, and instead of giving me an “oh well” my masseuse spoke with her manager while I was changing and they came up with a solution that gave me what I actually wanted without sacrificing additional time or money. I love solution focused people. I didn’t have to think about a thing. The entire staff at this location will anticipate your needs and meet you where you are.

Went for a couple’s massage that was gifted to us by our children and it was a fantastic experience. Kendel and Nicol were very friendly and started our relaxing experience. Sheneke and Daniela were excellent! They did a great job of focusing on the suggested areas while still taking care of the whole body. The dessert was a fantastic way to end a special day. This was an experience we would definitely do again!

Love the environment and the hospitality. However in particular, there were two lovely young ladies by the names of Quesha and Akira. They were very accommodating and professional. Very nice and nice relaxing music . Speaking of which, my music. I went with my daughter for some bonding time and it was amazing for the both of us. I am extremely happy with my facial with the wonderful Emily. My Skin feels amazing, cant wait to go back for another facial. My daughter received a massage by Jessyca and she was so relaxed and enjoyed it. Kendel and Shana were both amazing getting us checked in. Overall a wonderful experience.

Such a lovely, relaxing experience! The level of professionalism here is top notch. Nothing is amiss, from when you walk in to when you leave. I got my massage from Nila, who was incredible! She was really knowledgeable, knew exactly what I needed, and she found areas on my back that needed work that I didn't even realize were tight. I'm definitely coming back!

I recently booked a massage with Sheneke and it was definitely one of The top 10 out of the few hundred I’ve had. From the start the staff was awesome and the environment was soothing and relaxing. She asked what if any focus areas I wanted and then delivered. If you have the chance I can’t recommend it strongly enough!

I had a great visit to the spa which included a wonderful soothing massage and a much needed pedicure. The spa although a bit small was cozy and quaint. All of the attendants were very kind & professional. I would recommend the spa and look forward to returning!
