From February 2022 (the time of this review changed when I edited a spelling error). There is a very rude man who works there! I was there on Tuesday, February 16th, around 4:50pm. All I was doing was trying to pack my bag with what I purchased and he told me that I had to hurry up because only one register was open. He was not even the cashier, so maybe he should have opened the other register when a line formed. I had breakable objects in my bag and had to pack things carefully. I told him off "nicely" and left since I did not want to cause a scene or lose my temper. **Update** Yesterday evening (Monday, March 1st) I went back to shop at Speedway and the man recognized me and apologized and calmly explained his side of what happened. I then explained my side of things as well and he understood. I'm happy to give an update with this peaceful resolution because it shows that things can be solved in positive ways. This interaction has made me feel better about being a customer at that location, and I will continue to happily do business with Speedway at their Hylan Blvd location.

Don’t use their gas. I learned it the hard way. I don’t usually put the gas in my car but this time I had to. Same night my car started having trouble. It would stall and shut down without the power. Had to take to the auto shop and do the diagnostics. At first we were thinking it was either the fuel pump, air valve/filter or the fuel sensor went wrong. After everything seemed to be working right we decided that it may have been a bad gad. I emptied the tank, put in an injector cleaner and put a different gas. The stalling has decreased significantly it would stall and shut down 7-8 times in an hour now it just stalled once in few hours. I didn’t fill up my tank cause I will empty it and put some more cleaner with new gas again so all that @hit is out of my tank. The main reason for posting this comment is to try to save someone from damaging the car and wasting money on fixing it.

Night attendant david, not sure if it’s his name dark skin tall guy, always parks his Mercedes in front of the service window, is very resentful and rude, it almost feels like he’s being pressured to work there or maybe it’s just me, every time I come there late night 4ish am, he acts like I owe him money, not a pleasant person to deal with. Day time for some reason closes the entire store in the middle of the day, note states “shift change and maintenance, see window” I come to the window for candy and im told by a curly haired lady with glasses, that they’re closed and are not serving anyone at around 2pm, that’s very odd I never seen such a thing. So for now I’m out and suggest all to do the same, until it’s owner wakes up and make it pleasant to attend, considering other reviews I’m not alone that feels that way. Thank you.

This place is horrible!! Cashier Dawnna K. doesn’t know how to ring up items that you put on the counter and then gives you back the wrong change!! Contact me please , I have the receipt and items that I purchased she didn’t ring me correctly for the items I put on the counter and then she gave me back the wrong change and then when I went in to talk to her about the issue, she took money from me on the counter, everything is on camera!! She needs to be fired. I worked in retail before mark my words she’s stealing. She didn’t even want to give me a receipt I had to ask for it. Please contact me management..

Terrible place and please don't go. The gas is fine if you use a card. If you go into the store you're done. I tried to buy vuse pods and then it went down hill. They sold me the wrong thing and said I can't return it because there are no managers there. They say they have no change so they just take the rest about the dollar above American change...again no managers sorry. No quarters nickel or dimes. It's all on their video. I'm quite sure the clerk was high as hell. Check the video at around 330pm today corparate.

Tonight I experienced something I only see on news. I when there to pump gas tonight using my credit card little does I know I was being overcharged. The amount gallons still going++ while the fuel pump was in my hand. The moment I grab my phone and hit start recording the amount gallons finally stopped(I feels like I'm being watched) I have no proves beside my words. But overall I will never go this gas stations and I've been telling my friends to avoid this place At all time. Good luck peoples who pumps here.

Fuel at this speedway "regular" may have a bad batch. New car running rough. If you have this fuel in your tank. instead of 87 put 89 octane. From Sunoco real fuel. NASCAR Choice. 87 octane from Sunoco is best. In other words to clear bad fuel that's in your tank now. Flush it out with Sunoco 87 or 89 octane. Then go back to regular 87. And you're done. Continue to have a good day. And best regards.

This is a decent spot to stop for gas and soda. It gets busy so you have to wait for a spot to open at times, but they keep the place clean and well stocked. The staff have always been kind to me, but they have been closed a few times in the middle of the night when I've dropped by even though they are supposed to be open 24-7. I like it, and I keep coming back.

Is the gas station open today, Friday 11/25/2022? I was there about 6pm and 8.30pm. The door to the store was locked. I waited for about 30 minutes and nobody opened the door. A lot of people were there too waiting and asking if the station was closed for the holiday.

THEY NEED TO REFILL THE SELF CAR CLEANING SOLUTION ALWAYS EMPTY WHEN I TRY TO GET GAS. THIS PLACE NEEDS BETTER CLEANING ON THE OUTSIDE WASH SIDEWALK SOAP AND WATER LOTS OF HOMELESS HERE GARBAGE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED MORE OFTEN!

They don't care. Use their station or drive away. They will not even help unless you insist. Slow pumps and poor service. Only the manager here was serious enough to answer and really tried heping.

Went there for air and didn’t have enough quarters and cashier was like I don’t have quarters . It’s the gas station air pump u have to provide quarters for air …

DO NOT GET AIR HERE! Machine frequently does not work, but the staff won’t label it as such or shut it down. Happy to take your money though. Management needed here

I asked the cashier politely that restroom is open? His reply was what’s on the notice, you can’t read? What type of employee work there i don’t know

Great gas station in New dorp and there full bean coffee machine delivers real coffee and taste ..great prices .and regular gas price 4.45 gallon .

I got 2 cards froms this place and the cashier only scan 1 of them instead of both and wasted about 30 dollars this place has the worse cashier.

Fairly priced. 2 stars off due to more than usual closing of gas station. I assume their equipment is outdated that it breaks down often
