I was driving my car, I heard a loud pop and then my car sounded like a stock car. I called around to a few places inquiring about appointment times and prices. I was given the runaround and felt dismissed. At 11:30am on Friday, I called Speedy on Wentworth and spoke with Lisa. She was attentive and upbeat. She said come on in and we'll take a look and give you the low down on what needs to be done. When I arrived at 12:15pm, Rick took my car right in and put it on the hoist. My muffler had more than a small leak... The whole left side was blown out. Rick searched around the shop and said he didn't have the right muffler in stock but he would order it. At 1:05pm, the muffler arrived and by 1:20pm I was out the door and "very quietly" on my way to work. Did I mention that I along with the other customers were offered pizza while we waited?? Office Admin Lisa was incredibly professional, funny and welcoming. Mechanic and Owner Rick was professional, fair and he knows his stuff. Other mechanics in the shop were professional and friendly. The shop and waiting area was clean and comfortable. I am so thankful for you Lisa and Rick and your "speedy" and affordable service at Speedy Wentworth. Kudos to you and your team there... I will be back... Hopefully not too soon tho.

By far some of the best service I’ve received since owning a vehicle. I went to my regular mechanic after I ran over an ice patch and disconnected part of my exhaust, my regular mechanic told me to scrap my car and that it was undriveable, which to me sounded a little far-fetched so I decided to get a second opinion and that second opinion was speedy auto service. From the moment I got on the phone to the moment I walked out with my vehicle being fixed I had nothing bad to say the place was clean, it was tidy, it was well managed and they have amazing customer service. I was able to call them one hour before they closed and get my car in and out and fixed within an hour of my call. I am now going to be switching all my mechanical services to speedy auto service and I recommend that anyone looking for a good mechanic that isn’t going to try and price gouge you or tell you to scrap your car I would HIGHLY recommend checking this place out. And to the mechanics that helped me out - thank you so much.

I had to have my emergency brake fixed, it wasn't holding anymore. I didn't realize it was going to be such a costly job! :( With Covid19 going on it made my experience taking my car in for a repair job that much more inconvenient. Rick the owner of the shop was NOT able to provide me with a courtesy shuttle drive back home nor a pick up from home back to the garage when my car was done being fixed so I had to take the HSR bus on this stifling hot day. When it was time to pick my car up from the garage I was going to take a cab but when I called there was an hour wait so I said forget it and ventured out to try and get back on public transit! What a day I had!!! :( ♤grrr♤ JACK

I've been going to Rick since 2003. He was friend of my Dad and took care of my Topaz. Then had an accident and didn't drive for many years. Once I got back on the road, I always stayed in touch with him. Fixed my muffler on my grand-am when I backed into a mountain of snow. I stopped going for a few years because my Gram-pa and his mechanic was helping me who was just around the corner. My grampa passed away and his mechanic retired. I'm very nervous about car problems cause I'm on a budget but I feel very comfortable with Rick. Thank You

I cannot say enough about this auto-shop. I have been going to this location for 7 years, they have truly earned my trust,. Great prices, honest opinion or advice, great customer service. The owner is the most humble person on this earth. I will tell you a story, I had to get my brakes changed, the estimated time was around 2hrs, they ended up doing it in just over an 1hr, instead of taking all the profits as I had agreed on, they removed the extra hour labour cost. YOU CAN'T FIND SUCH CUSTOMER SERVICE ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!

From the way they answer the phone, to the repair to my damaged exhaust.... I am really impressed with this place, and will go back. It's a shame the brand doesn't still use their old jingle "...at Speedy you're a somebody"... thank you guys.... I am fairly new to the area, and have to say the professional , and friendly treatment i received, is heads and shoulders above your nearby competitors... .... they aren't really competitors because it's you who will get my recommendations and future business.... not them heheh

I had trouble with my car, I truly thought I had engine issues. I had to get on the highway for a job up north by 2pm. At 12:30 I drove in hoping for help. The gentleman said he would diagnose it and let me know if it could be repaired on time...I thought if at all! I would have had to rent a car. They called with the diagnoses, fixed it on time and did my oil change as well. I'll never go elsewhere again. Great service Friendly people I highly recommend this Speedy for all vehicle service

Appeared to be nice guys, however when I took my truck in for brakes and a tune up in June, I left the garage with a broken navigation system( which they blamed on the make, not that they killed the battery and boosted it with the key on, then told me my battery was fine) my brakes have squeaked at every stop even though they did a complete brake job. If you are a female please stay away from this garage. Just very sad about the treatment and lack of quality workmanship or customer service.

I've been going to Rick for approximately 5 yrs now. All my repairs, I've taken there, they are honest and reliable. I've never felt taken advantage of as a female, and been treated fairly. (Which is terrible in some cases, but not here!) Everything is thoroughly explained or shown if needed or asked. An amazing working crew over there, willing to help their customers and go the extra mile. I truly appreciate their business and will always go back. Thanks Rick and Crew! You're AWESOME

I brought my car in for inner and outer tie rods and alignment work was done fast but the guy told me it pulls to the left now few days later I noticed my car leaning to the left I looked at the rear shocks and the left one has been changed to a shorter one looked the bolts and new tool marks are there. Interesting that the guy told me that something may be wrong with my rear end and now I have a spring that been changed. Really shady. I would not use the shop

I have been going to Speedy on Wentworth for over a year now. I always get top notch service and very professional work! AND ALWAYS A FAIR PRICE!!! Rick is the owner and has had many opportunities to rip off this naive gal but he has never done unnecessary work. Many times headed out the door having paid under $20 or even nothing! He is patient with my endless enquiries and often just need to be reassured my car is fine. Lol Best mechanics in town!

Great service. After spending all that time taking off my snows.. Discovered my replacements needed replacing. Put snows back on as will go elsewhere for tires he still didn't charge me for the time or tire disposal fee. That was above and beyond!! Thanks Speedy. Ohh and asked them to check brakes while tires were off.. And super honest answer... Nope they are good. Wow. Again thanks for your honesty!

They accommodated me as a walk in to do an oil change, inflated my tires which was great because it was freezing out and my sensor was on so I didn't want to do it myself, staff was really great, did their inspection, didn't find anything wrong with the car which was great, didn't try and sell me anything I didn't need. For sure going to go back there for future service.

I stopped in cause I had a previous shop do my exhaust and it kept coming apart cause they were not welded . These guys were more then accommodating on helping me out . Took me in right away told me what the issue was and fixed it in less then a hours time .. Great place I'll be recommending this place for all my friends and needs .. Good job guys

I was referred to this garage for a second opinion regarding an expensive repair I was told by another garage needed to be done ASAP. I do not recommend this location. Not only have our truck brakes squeaked since going here, they fried the touch screen in our truck and refuse to replace it. They told us they had to boost the truck after leaving the ignition on. Ever since, our touch screen has not worked. They refuse to address the problem they created.

Had engine checked for issues. Was told my engine was blown. Was gonna cost 2500 plus another 1300 for labour. Took it to dealership and it was just my spark plugs. 400 tax in. Big difference. You would think Speedy would know how to find a spark plug issue and no write off engine so easily

Wonderful, honest owner that treats his customers like family. The staff is kind, honest, and make sure that you understand what is needed without pressuring you to get extra work done. I can't say enough about what a terrific place this is to get professional work done on your vehicle.

Good honest service. Average communication. Recommended to me by my mechanic for exhaust weld repairs that my mechanic could not do. First attempt was successful for a couple years. Generally happy with Speedy Auto and would come back for any issues my mechanic can't address.

I love this place, I’ve been coming for as long as I’ve lived in Hamilton, about 7 or 8 years. They’re quick, honest, reasonably priced. A few times when there was just something minor wrong they fixed it for me no charge. You’re in good hands here!

I just want to tell you that the guys who want to go to this machinic they take for 500 dollar for just my engine light was on until know they didn’t fix my car they told me to comeback every day. the owner if you read my review please fix my car

Best mechanic in town! I've been taking my cars/minivan to Rick and his team for over 5 years. Have had them fix struts/shocks/muffler/brakes and regular tune-ups and oil changes. I also get my winter/summer tires changed out by them. 5 STARS!!

I thought I had a major exhaust problem. I took my car in last month. They said it was something minor. They explained what the problem was, fixed it right away. Excellent and honest service. I will be using them for future work!

Was quoted one price over the phone, then when I brought it in, the quote for the same work had gone up just over one hundred dollars. Work seems satisfactory, however after the bait and switch I won't go back.

I admit I was a bit skeptical, but I am very pleased with the work I had done. Rick and his team did everything I asked him to do and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this service centre.

Rick didn’t charge me anything to diagnose my engine failure and they let me keep my car there over the weekend until I could get it towed. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these honest guys to anyone!

Poor workmanship, 2500 km and wheels needed to be unbalanced, wheel weighs came off, paid to rebalance tires and they messed up hub caps.....pissed off
