I had about two and a half days on a last-minute trip to Chicago to find an apartment, and not many buildings would let me tour since I wasn't scheduled. I reached out to several different agencies for help, including Square One. Michael Morrison was the agent who got in contact with me, and I will be forever grateful that he did. A couple agents from other companies showed me a building or two, but it was clear that they were more interested in filling the apartment than finding the right home for me. Michael pulled strings and got me into last-minute viewings, drove my mother and me so that we wouldn't have to spend cab fare, and made sure he knew what I was looking for. He asked all the right questions with the building management, and he always made sure to inquire about certain discounts that may have been applicable to me. The kicker came after we had seen five or six buildings that would have been just fine. Michael told me he'd walk me through the decision-making process, because I was leaving the next morning and had to bite the bullet. Then, that night, he found a unit in a building that he said he KNEW would be perfect for me. I at first declined to look since I already had too many to mull over, but he insisted. I met him there quickly the next morning, and he was right; the building was a perfect match. It had the amenities I wanted, the perfect layout, the perfect location, and all within my price range. He said he just needed to get to know me a little to learn the right fit, and he took the time to do that. I've been living in my perfect apartment for about five months now, and I couldn't be happier. Every time I look out at the amazing view or enjoy the amenities that I wouldn't have had at the other buildings, I'm grateful that Michael was my agent. If he's what Square One Real Estate represents, then I'd recommend it to every single person I know.

He did a great job of listening to what we needed and asked all the right questions about our budget, time frame, etc. He was also great at explaining the Chicago market to us, which was particularly helpful since I don't live there. He was able to provide us with a number of listings almost overnight and took us out to look at our top choices a few days later. Because of his outstanding advance work, the second place we viewed was perfect, and we looked no further. He made apartment hunting a breeze.

I can’t say enough great things about Sari. She is very professional and went above and beyond throughout out apartment search.
