Close to Melbourne. On a main road so expect noise. Clean and tidy but dated. They are doing renovations atm. New bathrooms. Downsides are noise, poor air conditioning and very hard beds. Suggest getting a room at the back to avoid sun exposure and traffic noise.

Huge rooms. Enough for queen bed, single bed table 2 seater couch and wall unit and still be able to walk around without banging into anything. Bed was really hard but apparently they have mattress toppers at reception....(weren't told this. Why not just put them on the beds?) Renovated bathrooms but very poor hot water. Wasn't enough to do 2 showers. Noisy air con. Room hot if at the front as it gets full sun and very noisy as that side is a main road and on a corner so you hear the walk/don't walk signal constantly!

What a lovely atmosphere, this motel is quaint. Less than modern, but most beautiful. Last Miniute booking for a wedding, and they accomidated to us.! Dad is ill and can not get up stairs, they changed our room NO HASSLE! There are accessibility rooms and A disabled car park. The reception holds an array of snacks, drinks, and toiletries for guests at reasonable prices. I love the vending machine with 24hr avalibilty to more snacks! Breakfast can be ordered to your room, or you can make your way to the dining room and enjoy the smell and sounds of your brekky being prepared. David brought my coffee out to me in the morning and couldn't have been more hospitable! Thank you!! Budget friendly, clean, warm safe. Accessibility, showers, and parking. Can reccomend

David in reception was prompt at shuffling bookings to squeeze my large family of 5 in at late notice and even gave us a better price over the phone than was advertised elsewhere. He was then happy to hold the room for us while hubby and I confirmed things our end - only to find we didn't even need it in the end! He was then kind enough not to find the hassle a problem at all. What a blessing it is to have such venues with refreshing customer service, thank you!! Definitely a preferred venue for us in future now.

Aircon with heater function. Hot water in bathroom. Room is clean and tidy. Bedsheets and towels are also clean. Good location. 02 mins walking distance to tram line. 15 mins walking distance to train line. 10 mins walking distance to gourmet eateries and a coin laundry shop. Provided extra towels and use of microwave in the room when requested. And David is a friendly host.

The service was EXCELLENT apart from a 10 minute wait for reception on a Thursday afternoon . Rooms are very clean & bathroom was exceptionally clean though very lacking in toiletries. TV Reception not the best though manageable. (I had to put it on the floor) A microwave in the room would of been very welcome also. 4 star recommended & well earned. OK rooms for a Motor Inn, definitely stayed in worse. Beds not too bad, bit uncomfortable for side sleepers. Shower was alright too. It's all about the location. Booked a place to stay the night but the owner wouldn’t let 2 of my other friends in on arrival. So he gave us the boot and told us to leave for no good reason. Paid full price. I mean isn’t that motels are there for. Honestly. Wouldn’t recommend to any one. He started swearing at us and getting aggressive. I’ll go f myself.

My second stay. Clean. Convenient and efficient with free parking. Morning traffic noise is a bit overwhelming and sound proofing between rooms almost non-existent. So bring ear plugs. Otherwise highly recommend this as a budget accommodation.
