"Great teachers, large playground"
I live directly across the road and their PA system needs a volume check. I've only ever heard passive aggressive comments broadcast by the teachers directly into my living room. I don't know what the students are doing but they're always doing it wrong - must be a catholic thing? I never hear words of encouragement or teachers cackling with laughter. Is anyone having any fun? The kids seem completely oblivious which is probably a good thing. They also need to sort out their parking. STOP building classroom extensions and organise an underground carpark. We all know you've got the cash. Every single day Maxim Street, Union Street and Station street are total chaos during pickup and drop off hours. It's a bottle neck and feels obnoxious. Update: it's October 10, at 2am. The school bell is going off. 1:46am. 1:49am. 2am. Get your PA system fixed!
Both kids are loving going to St Michaels’s; there’s a great sense of community, with only 2 classes per grade, principal / teachers really knows the students. They have a therapy dog “Micky” coming in a few days a week - a highlight for all the kids! There’s also lots of clubs during recess / lunch, fostering the kid’s individual interests. Lots of new building works happening over the next year to give the kids even better facilities. Before and after school is also available onsite. So grateful for affordable quality education, great facilities, support and opportunities available for the kids at this school.
