"I was born in leytonstone and used to live in frith road just across the road from this cemetery"
"The gentleman who runs the cemetery is a wonderful chap very understanding and accommodating, you can ask him any question and he will answer with sincerity and kindness, he wouldn't even judge you if you had to add a headstone a few years "
"Very Peaceful, I visited here to look for a headstone, I called at the office to enquire about a map to help me, and they could not have been kinder or more helpful, providing me with a map of the cemetery, a look at a burial register and "
"My father is buried here, as is his father mother and sister… my father was an international boxer, which is reflected on his grave… when he was young he got in a lift with a comedian/ actor of the day Vic Oliver who was married to Sarah "
Large Roman Catholic cemetery in east London. Lots of graves and memorials of all sizes crowded in - so I’m guessing this has been in use for quite some time. Can be difficult to move between the graves, particularly for the less mobile, as
I was born in leytonstone and used to live in frith road just across the road from this cemetery. The history of some of the people in here is amazing.. First you have Mary Kelly Jack the rippers victim, Timothy John Evans.. The man who was

Very special place to pray and remember our beloved deceased in East London. It is the historical Catholic cemetery under strict observance of Catholic priests. The Traditional Holy Masses for the deceased are being celebrated in the
Lovely, peaceful and quiet. Great place to escape reality and the noise of London. This cemetery is very large, but it's divided in sections and has easy to use paths. A few minutes from Leyton underground station (Central Line).
Peaceful Catholic cemetery. Good location next to Leyton tube station. Large cemetery with train lines at the back. About 5 minutes walk from a station. Limited parking in front. War memorials.
Went there to visit the grave of Marie Jeanette Kelly (Mary Jane Kelly), the final known victim of Jack the Ripper. Had always wanted to pay my respects to her. Peaceful and lovely Cemetery.
I’ve lived close by for over twenty years. Can report that it does a good job of keeping the dead buried. No weird stuff that I’ve seen. Some interesting examples of funerary architecture.
We contacted the cemetery and the very helpful staff gave us much help and advice, rare in today’s society. When we visited we were met by John who once again could not have been more
It's was all so much good for the biggest family and friends get together for paying my respect to my aunty Dorothy Cecilia cuffy who was laid to rest on Thursday afternoon.
Nice quiet catholic cemetery, good for a walk and with some impressive headstones, got locked in by accident and had to vault the wall at the back, felt like a teenager.
Forty odd years keeping head stone clean and its in very good nick. Clutch fluid and bleach is what i have been using and proof is in the pudding. Many regards Bill swan
A magical world of marvellous statuary, both religious and classical. Such an enchanting venue for a burial ground, the surroundings lift the spirit in times of sorrow.
A really wonderful gem of a cemetery! Located just by Leyton station on the central line and in a quiet residential area, it’s easily accessible and well kept.
Peaceful land, with occasional foxes and other animals, great to remind us of both sides of the coin.
My Great-Nan and Nan are buried here. I miss her so much but know she's at peace.
