Purchased a brand new freezer from St. Albert Home Furniture and Appliances. 33 days later it crashed. I read the manual and warranty instructions and called Electrolux like it instructed. They told me that yes it falls under warranty, and to go back into the St. Albert store and let them know I have a Blanket RA number on file and I'd get an exchange. I live in Red Deer so I called St. Albert Home Furniture Appliances to make sure it was ok that I wouldn't be out until the weekend. She took all my information and said they hadn't received the RA number but yes it was ok to come in on the weekend. Friday morning THEY CALLED ME and asked if I would still be in on the weekend. I said yes and they said everything was ready, they received the RA number and have another freezer ready for us and to come on down. Showed up on Sunday to be told that no, they didn't have the RA number and they would not do anything for us until they got it. Did not matter that THEY called me and TOLD US TO COME, knowing we were from Red Deer. No compensation for the 4 hour long round trip. No exchange. Nothing. They said they would be calling to find the RA number and would call us back. A week goes by. No word back. Called St. Albert Home Furniture back again to ask if they had the RA number yet, and they had lost all of our paperwork and had to take all our information over again and search up our receipt again, and promised yet again that they would be calling to find the RA number and would get back to us. This time I called Electrolux myself immediately after getting off the phone with St. Albert and Electrolux right away said they would send the RA number. Finally got a call 2 days later from St. Albert saying they received the RA number and we could come BACK in. Finally got my new freezer after 3 weeks of hassle and frustration and empty promises. They offered no help unloading the old freezer and we were just pointed towards the new freezer sitting in the back. They did not even help to get the freezer out of their store. Wow. So amazed at the awful service from this store. One thing after the next. Definitely won't be shopping here again in the future.

Great business and great owner! Shawn and his staff have always done an excellent job of taking care of my appliance needs! He’s helpful, knowledgeable and always willing to help with even the smallest details. I have recommended his store to many of my friends and family and he has always gone above and beyond to take care of their needs as well. I'll admit I was a little skeptical shopping for appliances somewhere that wasn't a "Big Box" store. I'm happy to report that it was actually a great experience! The prices/deals you can get here are really good, and Shawn is great to work with and talk to. They can order certain appliances for you, but it's easier to just go in with an open mind and see if you like anything they currently have. Would recommend checking this place out if you're in the market!

What a positive experience!!! I never felt pressure to buy anything and it felt that Shawn really wanted to make sure I was going to get the best possible product that was for us. Horrible customer service Wow. Leave a complaint and the owner has the audacity to call me a liar. Just goes to show how bad the business is when that's the way they handle issues. Came in last week to shop for appliances and I will not be returning. Definitely do NOT recommend.
