My mother and father were two of the founding members of this church. It had started as St Philip’s Mission, on Behrman Highway, in a small Baptist church that rented their place to us for our services, which were later in the morning. Mom
People are open and willing to help, with solveing any problem you might have, Fr. Steven cares alot about his congregation and will always do what he can to help solve your problems, Wounderful Congregation to be with.
St. Philip's is an Episcopal Church. It's well-kept there is a good deal parking. I attended a Christmas bazaar in their Parish Hall and it was really nice. The people of st. Philip's are very friendly.
I love St. Philip's. I was a member of the choir when I lived in New Orleans. Whenever I come to visit, everyone always welcomes me back with open arms, best church family ever!
