Customer service is important. Being friendly is important. When they say “ hi what can I get you” and you respond “ just one moment please” and a minute later “ what can I get you” again I kindly say “ one moment please” because I am hurrying my 9 year old to make a decision. After probably just 2 minutes at most I ask for a drink before I could move on to the next item he says, sounding very annoyed and rudely “ sure what else” I felt rushed and like I was a bother. I asked if the fruit and cheese bowl was apples and grapes or apricots “ yes it’s apple and grapes” I say “ oh never mind then” I should have been more clear that I didn’t want the fruit and cheese box. I was surprised when he handed it to me at the window. I accepted it and drove off. I was just so taken aback at his attitude and lack of care of customer service I didn’t have the interest in telling him I didn’t order the item and to please refund me and take the food. In addition to that he is wearing a mask which is fine but you cannot see if he is smiling. So I would recommend he change his tone with customers and come off less bothered by doing his job because you cannot read his facial expression so his tone and how he speaks to others speaks volumes. Reading reviews it seems like I am not the only one with this concern with this individual and I would expect there are others who just haven’t taken the time to make you aware of how put off their were by their interaction with him. I’ll give this location a try again in the future and update my review is my experience is more enjoyable.

I came to this Starbucks this morning to grab a Chai. I used the walk up window to order my drink because the drive-thru line was rather long. I ordered my drink with a friendly young lady. The young lady closed the walk-up windows as there were no other customers waiting for their orders to be taken.I waited about 10 minutes after ordering. I figured that they were backed up because of the drive-thru so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I became concerned when customers who ordered 12 mins after I ordered my drink were being served. I asked the young lady in the walk up window if she would cancel my order because it was taking too long. She asked someone else to cancel the order and the gentleman indicated that the drink had been sitting on the counter for a while because he had called it out a couple times. I let him know that the windows were not open so how could I hear the order being called out. I am very disappointed in the service I received today. I have given this Starbucks location a 3 star rating because why they provided poor customer service my chai was enjoyable. I am displeased with this Starbucks location and I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Worst customer service I've ever had at any Starbucks. On 9:18AM Aug.2nd, I got iced coffee in the drive thru, then parked car and sat at one of their outdoor tables. About 30 min. later, I went to the window and requested a refill, including cream on the side. The male barista was very rude and asked if I got my iced coffee there. I said yes, explained I used the drive thru, and reminded him he could look at the store number and time of purchase on the order label to verify that I purchased it at that particular store and also the time of purchase. He got angry and said he didn't know his store number and didn't know about what was on the order label. He stormed off, gave me a refill, and 1 very slim tablespoon of cream, all the while acting as if I were robbing the store. This barista was awful. He should know his store number, how to read the label, and ask another barista if he needs help.

The last 6 months I use to go out of my way to go to this location if I had to, the shift staff was always super amazing and my drinks were always on point. However, the last week and a half has been awful. I order two drinks and I end up with 4 because they split up one coffee into multiples, They give me the wrong sizes and not one time this week have I received an accurate drink. I expect to have to wait a long while in the line but the wait time has almost doubled recently. Every day this week has been extremely disappointing and coming here to get my coffee on break is usually the highlight of my day. The older woman that hangs back with the long dark pony tail is always extremely rude and seems so unhappy. Give her a raise or something Starbucks she clearly hates her job.

Starbucks has been hit or miss, lately. In general. The location that I bought from had me waiting over 20 minutes in the drive-thru behind 3 other customers. (Barista was friendly and professional.) I tried to use one of the 7th street locations this AM, and the staff were just arriving at the hour (0530) they should have been ready for customers. At 1435 (2:35pm) l stopped at the other 7th street location and it was already closed for the day. I may sound insensitive but I am sure Starbucks Corp. needs to figure this out. After all, there is a new Dutch Bros across the street from my employer that is always open-

UPDATE VISIT: Even though this Starbucks has no indoor seating, I rank it top 10 SB in Phoenix because of the outstanding staff. Joseph and Billy are 2 of the best Baristas I've ever met....well done guys. They're always professional, friendly, accurate with orders providing the best customer service. It perks up my day more than the caffeine which from me is a huge compliment : ) This is a very convenient Starbucks on Shea just West of Tatum. I bicycled there from another Starbucks on 32nd and Shea. It is only drive thru, so I subtract a star(there are toilets available for customers however). The Baristas were very professional and friendly. There is also some nice, outdoor patio seating. Recommended above average SB location.

So women who were working here on the day that I went to get a drink we're talking about their benefits and their pay. They were not interested in finishing their conversation or causing it to take my order and once I finally did get their attention they put my order in and then went right back to their conversation sitting up against the counters and didn't make my drink for over 15 minutes. Other customers came up and placed orders and until there was about four of us waiting they didn't start making any drinks. I'll never ever get anything from the Starbucks ever again and I don't advise using it.

This drive-thru Starbucks location is great! I have been here several times both in the drive-thru and at the counter and service is friendly and fast both ways. Although this is just a drive-thru location, there is a fairly large covered seating area outdoors as well as a family bathroom. Additionally, they carry a very small collection of some Starbucks merchandise (Christmas ornaments and other small things) in case you're ever in a huge crunch to get something. They also sell major newspapers.

I use the drive up service as most. There is a option to walk up as well. Line moves pretty quick. There is a male employee that works the day shift that goes out of his way to provide exceptional service. He is always very welcoming and kind. Very knowledgeable about the varities if drinks and the many was to customize.One if the reasons I continue to go to this location is the service is amazing. Someone who ENJOYS his "job".

Store was scheduled to open at 5am and the app accepted my order. When I get there at 515 the store wasn’t open and order was not ready but the employees were working hard to get open. I understand all that so no worries. Manager however was super rude like I was imposing on them for showing up to pick up my order. I don’t get acting like that.

Staff were extraordinarily rude, asked for cream, only received a little bit. When I went back to get more sad that next time I would have to be charged for this extra cream which I’d ask for in the first place. Semmed to me it was closing time and they just want to get out of there...Won’t be back to this one!

They have limited hours due to COVID19, which is understandable. I respect and appreciate that they are working through this crisis. However when your pulling in 10 minutes prior to close and the barista says “sorry we’re closed” putting up the sign in front of your car.....it causes some frustration.

Always consistent quality and great service. Their summer seasonal drinks and food are all spectacular: super refreshing non-coffee fare as well as new takes on old favorites like the Ultra Caramel Frappuccino with espresso whipped cream or the berry croissant (it's amazing, TRY ONE)

Drove through on a busy weekday morning. The service was fast and executed according to my expectations. The barista was well-versed on the menu's nutritional information. That made it convenient and expediant for my wife to order since she needs to adhere to a gluten free diet.

Can not tell you what its like. I have attempted 4 times to go to this Starbucks. Every time they have been closed. This is morning hours during nonholiday weekdays. I would recommend press coffee or 32nd Shea. They have never been closed when they were suppose to be open.

Best customer service ever. I went through the drive thru and the barista saw my empty Starbucks tumbler and offered to fill it with water and ice. I usually wouldn’t ask cause I hate being a pain and making more work for people, but the employees here are really friendly.

Closed at 4pm on a Thursday??? 10 months ago: Rude to customers waiting in drive through line near closing time. Apparently the speaker just turns off while you're in line and that supposedly means they've just closed. No "closed" sign!

It's a drive thru with a kiosk type set up with seating outside only (like Dutch Bros) seemed much more interested in the drive thru so felt like a bother when I wanted to order something and they had to walk over and open the window

They made a very delicious iced coffee with sweet cream and in no time flat. I was on the way to visit a friend in the hospital so I was quite in a hurry and they were very quick to accommodate that. Thank you Starbucks.

There is NO INSIDE here. 108 degrees and NO INSIDE. As in, there is no door, only drive through or sit outside in the heat.
