Best full service carwash in town!!! This was my first visit to Stars & Stripes and I was very impressed. The staff were all very friendly, and did an amazing job on my Ford Explorer. They made my car look and smell like it was brand new off the lot again! The pricing is reasonable, even cheaper than other carwashes I have been to. In fact, I believe they provide more and better servicing for the price than the more expensive "professional" detailers I have gone to. There is a nice patio area to wait in, and there is an indoor lounge. The staff worked really hard! They hand sprayed and scrubbed the windows and mirrors before going through the wash. Then they took the time to thoroughly vacuum the interior, wash the tires, and hand dry the entire exterior. I had an amazing experience, and I am definitely making Stars & Stripes my regular carwash!

Took my truck to get washed 11/25/23 . Paid $59 for full service wash and interior clean. Cones set up outside entrance to automatic car wash too tight of a turn ended up having to back up and straighten out a couple times. Got through the auto wash and parked for them to clean inside. About 35-45 minutes later I was told my vehicle was done. I took one quick walk around the truck and noticed bird poop near the grill in several spots along with other dirt marks. The rims were still dirty so I asked the guy about it and he said they only do the interior, if it doesn’t come off in the machine then oh well. Taking truck home to rewash rims and outside. Not happy for paying $59. The whole point it to get it clean so I don’t have to do it. One star because the inside was vacuumed nicely.

Love this place! I always am met with a happy smile, given car fresheners! I have 5, almost 6 now, kids that destroy my car. And I mean DESTROY it! Sand, toys, food in all the cracks, you name it, and they always lift the seats and vacuum all the seatbelts areas. They go above and beyond for me. Never have they acted like it was disgusting, which I know it is, but always ask if everything is good and I am happy with it. One time my husband couldn't find his credit card for a week and I happen to take the car in and the guys found it and left it on my center console for me to grab! I didn't realize it was there until I left and had to make an appointment, but I want to give a shout out to that honest person. Thank you so much stars and stripes for your honest employees!

Best automated wash I’ve found in the area and they offer a military discount. Three exterior tiers available; the top tier goes for $12.99 and includes a full exterior clean, tire shine, and air freshener. They always start with a by-hand pressure wash and soap mop to work on problem spots early. The actual automated wash goes quickly and smoothly. Afterward there are free DIY towels and interior vacuums. Attendants are also available to towel dry your car (and this is when they do the tire shine). I have yet to try the interior detailing but there always seems to be cars getting detailed so that seems to be a popular option as well. Overall, this is the best car wash for the price I’ve found in the Miramar area. Give it a shot, you won’t be disappointed.

I booked an appointment for an interior detailing today at 1PM and was sent a confirmation email. However, when I showed up the place was closed and another customer informed me that she had also made an appointment but was disappointed to find out that they were closed. As I was about to leave, an employee (as identified by his "Star & Stripes" branded polo shirt) unlocked the door that I had tried going through previously, so I followed him but he had promptly locked it behind him; after motioning to him and telling him that I had made an appointment, he simply shrugged his shoulders and said that they were closed. Very bad user experience, poor communication with expectations from a willing customer totally misaligned. I would not recommend this place!

I just had the WORST experience at this car wash. I have been bringing my car here for 6 years now and have not had a problem until I just brought my car in after a long road trip and had a few bugs on the front of it. I paid for the automatic wash and dry and got out to find not one bug had come off. After asking to go back thru to help the situation the manager yelled at me and said I did not spend enough money to take care of the problem. I will never bring a car back here and feel lied to. The website says customer satisfaction guaranteed, yeah right. Also to make it worse after I told him I wasn't happy he told all the dry guys to stop drying my car. Being a mom looking for honest businesses. I would never return here treated the way I was.

2019: This place is amazing! Payed for Interior Detail wash, and they scrubbed every inch of the interior, making it look better than I’ve ever seen it look. They also ran it through the exterior car wash, and cleaned interior stains that I’ve never been able to clean! Would absolutely recommend this place to everyone!!!! 2023 Update: Just took our car in and we’re told to come back and pick it up, we’re then left waiting for another hour. When car was returned, the carpet and seats were sopping wet and took a whole week to air dry and has left a mildew smell in the car. Really disappointing service

Price for the basic wash has gone up to $8. Still a great deal. I had a good experience; my filthy car became pretty clean and I was able to vacuum out small particles throughout my car. My only complaint was with one of the staff at the entrance of the car wash trying to upsell me a wax job. "How long ago was your last car wash?" "Oh 6 months?" "You definitely need a wax or your car will be F*(!(#)ed". me: That's okay, I just want the basic wash **condescending look "whatever dude it's your car" Yes. Yes. It is my car. So please let me take the basic wash I came here for and get out.

I went in to get my interior detailed and from the start I felt strange vibes..The job they did was ok… still left more then a few stains in the seats.I was very disappointed at the fact that they couldn’t get the job done correctly.When I finally made it home I looked inside my trunk to find the mats gone -_- turns out they had them and I had to drive 20 minutes to go get them back. Waste of gas and time! A good thing I can say is my car was hand washed because I couldn’t go inside the car wash. I will not be coming back to this place.. it was a disappointment overall

Did OK. Visiting from out of state and have never used this place. Told the cashier that I had a lot of bugs and I wanted them removed and wanted an exterior wash. He recommended the $13.99 wash. Thought they did a real good job with the hand drying and tire dressing, however, when I got home I noticed A LOT of bugs and residue still on the front. If you don’t have a lot of bugs, then they are good. But still a good value for the price. Military? They appreciate our service and will give a discount! Thanks!

We pull up to an expressionless employee who yells "appointment?" to which we say yes. Then "50 bucks". Well good day to you too, sir! The waiting area was filthy with ants everywhere. All but 1 of the seats were covered in crumbs and other filth. Not particularly impressed with the cleaning. They didn't touch the cupholder area, which I don't understand. I gave an extra star because the job did ultimately get done and in a timely manner. I'd look elsewhere.

$99 + tip apparently is not enough to make sure that job is done right. Car still smells like cat piss, seats already dry (were they even washed?) ton of missed spots, stain where there was no stain. Was nice to the guys, handed tip before the job was done, assumed that they will treat me right. Nope. I was wrong. From now on will be checking car wash quality, you just created one more picky customer. So hard to do a good job? Not coming back

Recently I took my old car for interior detailing. This car was detailed few times at other place and it never felt clean. Seats had stains, all gaps had dust and mud. Stars & Stripes exceeded all my expectations. The car came out so clean and sparking that I could not believe my eyes. Many thanks to the people who workd on it. I am not going anywhere else now. This place is best for it's service, honesty and excellent results.

Very thorough pre wash hand detail...soapy mop, and high pressure stream of water. Then drive car into the traditional hang if whirling brushes, followed by a wind tunnel of air. Then drive on to the hand dry station for the remaining water droplets. I pulled my car into a vacuum booth and completed the interior cleaning. Less than $10.00 for all the basics. Great value! I'll be back again soon.

Hands down, one of the best car washes I've had! The price is unbeatable and all of the employees that I had spoken with were very courteous, professional, and had a great sense of humor. The quality of the wash and the excellent customer service is the reason why I will keep coming back. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great wash for very little cost.

I got a $15 car wash and some gas. Because I got a car wash I saved some cents that added up to dollars on gas. I love going here for the machine car washes because they have vacuums and an air blowing attachment that gets all the dust off my console. I would love to get a professional details by their staff but I don’t care about my car that much as I clean it good enough.

The only place I take my car for a detail. This is the kind of place where you can get a hand wash or drive through wash. You then can have them hand dry it and vacuum for you, or you can do it yourself for free. For $35 you get a drive through wash, air fresheners, hand dry, vacuum, and interior wipe down. I have dogs...and they always do amazing with all that fur!

This place is great, I have not compared prices but it seemed like a good deal to to me. I had a big infestation in my car, don’t ask, they were pretty funny when I explained to them the problem but they understood what I was trying to get done. They did a great job I was able to drop my car off and pick it up later, really good if you live or work in the UTC area.

I come here for my car wash whenever I'm in area!! Great value, very nice people, car comes out sparkling every time. Drive for Lyft & Love having clean car so I have it done once a week, have yet to find car wash closer to me that offers the fair price, quality & convenience of Stars & Stripes !!!! I only wish it were closer to home, oh yeah and FREE VACUUMS!!!

I used to wash my car here a lot, and everyone here is very nice except for the cashier person. Unfortunately, they don’t offer any promotion or car wash plans when I ask cashier each time. Price is kinda high for both interior and exterior wash. The person who wash car on Tuesday is really friendly and responsible, but sadly I forgot his name‍♀️

If you're waiting for your car to get detailed, don't. Waited for 2.5 hours in a waiting room with no AC. Checked midway and asked how much longer, they said 20 minutes. The car was clean, they did a great job there. Just more communication and custom service would be nice. Fix that, and I'll be back, WITH friends. Otherwise this place is a no-go for me.

I would give -1 star if possible. I brought my brand new tesla performance model and they destroyed the paint with their microfiber clothes. My paint will never recover from these scratches. My tiny guy explained how deep the scratches were and I am livid. If you have a nice or new car don't waste your time here. Do to a professional detailer.

We have been taking our cars to Stars & Stripes for many years, both for car washes and detailing. They have always done a great job, friendly and service oriented. They detailed my older Pacifica recently (interior and exterior) and really brought it back to life. I was amazed and super happy. I couldn't believe it could look so good again.

Ray and his crew deserve all the stars they get - true hard working professionals dedicated to exceptional service! The vehicle looks like it was driven out of a dealership brand new. Though the pictures don't fully do justice to the meticulous detail of their work, their super full service detail was absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

I always get the hot wax car wash as I can really make my black car shine. They provide free vacuums that work so well that you need to keep the nozzle away from your shirt, or it will suck you in! The buffing/drying cloths are heavenly and dry up any leftover droplets--and dry themselves very quickly. Love this place!! (Though not cheap.)

Great little spot for the value. Dont expect them to go over everything with a toothbrush for $10-$20 but they are always friendly, active, and provide extra hand detailing you don't get at other places in that range. The guys at the end like Carlos who stand the end in the sun waiting to hand dry deserve extra respect for their efforts!

I felt being ignored and confused at their car wash entrance that has multiple gates to go through and wait in line. But overall their free 10 minutes vacuum service is great except a few people doing it over time taking up the place. Other than that, I do not see the difference of $8 and $10 exterior wash, never know how $12 works.

Great car wash. Get the wax to get the wash to last. Employees are very helpful and fast. The vacuum service is helpful and easy to use. My only complaint would be that it's gets a little crowded and tricky maneuvering your car around the place. Prices might be a little higher than other places but I think it's worth it

I was here a month ago to get the ceramic coating detail, and I am still impressed! Pedro detailed my car and did an amazing job. I recommend Stars and Stripes for all detailing and car needs. The ceramic coating service has my car feeling smooth and clean and the interior detail was superb as well. 10/10 recommend

I come here every other week, and it’s always quick, good quality, and easy. I typically get the Wheel Deal for just an exterior wash or the Super Clean for an interior and exterior. Carlos is really friendly and works hard at finishing up the car by drying it and polishing the wheels. Thank you! Love coming here!

My receipt was at 1:07pm - I left the lot @ 2:26pm (yes, that is accurate) --- they only had 1 person working on interior cleaning the entire time I was there (one other did once in a while come over to clean the tires) --- manager is a loud mouth and needs to learn how to communicate with his employees

Reasonably priced, has in-person attendees who work hard. Washing, vacuum, detailing, gas, and lottery retailing all in the same area. The wash itself is not very powerful, leaving scums and marks on the car after the wash still. Service does provide clean drying towels for customers to use.

The staff here is the BEST! Each and everyone one of them from outside to inside the establishment always have a smile on their face! Even in the sweltering heat. Which should make everyone’s day brighter! Carlos did a great job! They are efficient and quick and most of all friendly!

Obviously handcleaning is way better than the automated only. I tend to come here once every so often when my car needs a shine. It is a bit more expensive than the regular car washes, but hey, you get the results! Haven't tried anything other than the exterior car wash.

Amazing staff and service! Very satisfied with my experience here. The indoor (and outdoor) car wash was excellent, detailed and the prices are unbeatable for the service. The car came back sparkling clean. Super happy to have found the place, will definitely go back.

I’ve been here a couple of times and they did a decent job on the washes until my last trip. The car wash left massive scratches in my paint and trashed my paint. Guess it’s back to washing my own car again. Do not use this car wash if you care about your cars paint.

In regards to the car wash I am happy but at least 4 of the employees wore their mask under their chin. The one we paid didn't even pull it over his face when he took our money. Very upset about that! It was not the usual guy! Of course, we wore our masks.

I usually come here for casual carwash, but experience each time is a bit different. Depending on the person doing the prewash and drying off the car, end result differs. Generally speaking though my experience has been good for a regular casual carwash.

These guys know what they are doing! My car looks like it was just driven off the dealership lot! Expect to pay around 200 for a full detail. They also have other great options to protect and detail exterior and interior. Definitely will be coming back.

The fine folks here did an excellent job taking care of my car. I got the $50 super clean, which includes interior and exterior cleaning. They went above and beyond our expectations of what that would include. My car looks fantastic! Thank you.

Wow, my car was such a mess from traveling out of state in the snow and these guys scrubbed it clean before it even went in the auto-wash portion. Such a great value because of the hard work and personal touch of their employees!!!

Great experience. Got the super clean interior and exterior for $35... Realized the cleaner missed a few spots after I left I came back hours later and they went above and beyond to rectify the issues. Great service great value.

Great carwash! Discounts with gas if you also get gas with your carwash. They have someone to scrub the car and hand wipe dry after the drive through car wash. Towels for additional drying is good too in addition to the vacuum.

Great price for a car wash. Powerful and free vacuums. I don't like the awkward guilt trip for tips by the hand dryers after the car wash. I would rather just pay a higher price for my carwash than deal with tipping afterward.

This is the best car wash in San Diego. They do an amazing job with great prices. Professional and friendly. Every once in a while I do interior and exterior for $21 and I can’t get better work anywhere else for the same price

For me, this automatic car wash experience is the best I have had any place. I always come back here even though it is a few miles away. And their detail work is really good. I have only done it once but I was 100% happy.

A nice auto spa with a huge range of car wash and detailing options.They also have a good seating area with AC, refreshments and massage chairs! I'm very happy with the full service hand wax on my car.

Best car wash I have ever seen. Your car comes out way cleaner than other car washes for same price! In the end, they also manually clean a bit of your exteriors with napkins to give the final touch.

Great place to have a full service car wash. You can sit indoors, outdoor, gas, Mexican restaurant, and your car looks great at the end! If I could recommend anything it would be a Massage Therapist.
