"Clean, spacious, and airy on a beautiful campus! Who knew Staten Island harbored such a gem! The kiddos loved the whole museum"
By far the best Children's Museum in the city. I spent 8 years there with my child weekly. (we had a membership). Such an incredible, joyful and engaging place and the grounds at Snug Harbor are always wonderful. Recently took my friends with small children there and they were delighted. Wonderful programming and exhibitions. More
The Winter Lantern festival is hosted to celebrate and cherish the Chinese New Year. Amazing Lights gleam all over the place. Good place for kids and some good night photographs. There are some shows which are announced while you are there. The place is pretty far and pricy. The feel is “Not a good value for money” at the end.
I want everyone to go there during your break. The kids loved Ms Sue. She was everything you wanted for a tour guide for kids. I took a lot of pictures. Those place is so cool. Soon I want to bring children with amsensory needs here. They would love some parts of this venue.
Didn't have any expectation - was very happily surprised. Incredibly friendly staff, tons of great activities for toddlers and young kids. Spent 2 hours here, had to drag the kids out, they didn't want to leave. Nice park right outside where kids can run around and play.
Clean, spacious, and airy on a beautiful campus! Who knew Staten Island harbored such a gem! The kiddos loved the whole museum. Honestly the 2-5PM reservation slot wasn't enough to explore the whole thing at all. We'll have to come back because it was a wonderful time.
It was awesome place for the kids in Staten Island. Not a big place but each floor has different theme. My kids enjoy this place. The other thing I love this place is the gift shop and food’s price is normal. Definitely will bring my kids come again! …
It is a great place for kids. It is small but it is cute. The kids enjoy all the options this place has to offer. This is not by any mean a giant museum, but it is good enough for a lazy saturday where you want to take the kids to a local playplace for a day. More
We had the best time here! We bought our tickets in advanced with a 3 hour time frame. That’s more than enough time to see everything, have the kids play and interact as well as play outside in the water section. Staff are friendly and always smiling. More
My children, ages 3 to 9 years old, all enjoyed the Children's Museum. Multiple exhibits on each floor contained engaging activities for the children. The front entrance contains a fire truck which was entertaining. The biggest sign that my
My tot and I traveled all the way from New Jersey on public transportation to experience this little hideaway on Snug Harbor. Well worth the commute; we used our Cool Culture card and were checked in and given a ticket for the cooking class
I love taking my daughter to this place when I visit my family on Staten Island. It has so many things to offer for all age groups. It’s a very reasonable price and you only pay once a day you can leave and come back to play some more. The
I had to do a project for a class at Wagner College and they gave me a private tour — I wasn’t allowed to explore the museum alone because I was unaccompanied by a child. They cared about their patrons safety and experience. There are over
Wonderful museum that was sensory friendly. My daughter really enjoyed herself, and was able to play with other kids. Definitely considering a membership. It is really a gem in Staten island and I cannot believe I didn't know of it sooner.
Such a wonderful and welcoming space for little ones to explore and learn! Their exhibits are always entertaining and educational. Their programming and events are great. I love a place where my child can learn and grow and I can feel good
What an amazing resource. I have been to this museum many times with my grandchildren. Yesterday we had the opportunity to experience Drag Story Hour with Ms.Lori Lu . Dressed like a festive Christmas tree, she read us all three wonderful
I attended this museum as a child, played here while I grew up, performed here with community programming and took children here I babysat or nannied over the years. The role this museum plays in the community is integral to early youth
My family came to NYC for a visit last year and this year. We took the kids to the museum last year and it was their top request of things to do this year as well. The hands on atmosphere for them is great. I must give and acknowledge a
Events, fun toys, and 3 stories of experiences for all ages. Giant bowling, chess, dominoes, connect four, light bright, building blocks, etc. Wind tunnel. Environmental learning areas. Insects to see and learn about, dress up like and
Great place! Super clean, friendly staff, easy parking and not to crowded!! Also the price of 8$ is more than fair. The kids had a great time with lots to do and see. Great for a variety of ages. Also they had a little snack zone with
My daughter was bullied by a large group of children wearing skirts, unattended by their parents, while in the fire truck area. She was yelled at and not allowed to play inside the dashboard wheel area of the fire truck.
Super fun. Wasn't crowded and staff was friendly. They had lots of things for kids to do. The lawn out front is also perfect for a picnic Still lovely and a perfect spot to take your kid on a weekday adventure! More
Amazing place for kids! A variety of games and activities, so much fun! The kids absolutely loved it! The games were so original and everything was so interesting and hands on. I totally recommend it! More
I visited around 2014 with my nephew, he was around 2 years old at the time. Very fun place with lots of interactive activities. We had lots of fun and the staff was super sweet and helpful. More
Clean, well-maintained (that is, most of the exhibits still work despite rough usage from children!) and many interesting things to do. Our preschool group loved the firetruck and the game room.
We were here for the NYC Winter Lantern Festival recently and it was amazing. The lanterns and lights were beautiful and made for a great photo op. The childrens museum is always fun too!
Still loving this place so much with a six year old! Love the workshop art room. Love the construction installation and "any" hill! This place is a true gem! Never over crowded.
Super cute museum! No food except a vending machine when I went on a sunday but it was a fun experience. My daughter and niece loved it! Great for little kids! More
Very nice place for kids to spend some great time. Lots of activities to do there. Place is very clean and well organized. Definitely will be back there. More
A lot of activities for kids, lovely small garden, dinning area (if you bring some snacks with you). My kids love to visit this place.
This is the best place I could take my 3 year old. It's a interactive, educational experience for him. I've been coming to this
Great museum! A lot of interactive activities for kids both inside and outside, very clean, friendly staff, reasonable price.
My 4 year grandson had a great time on the Fire Truck. He also enjoyed the construction house, wrecking ball and crane.
Best kid's museum in the area! My kids beg to go back. Tons to do plus an art room. Free Parking.
