Glen was initially quite responsive and I wanted to proceed with the services of his company and accept the quote. However, when I was already accepting the quote and asked clarifying questions about some negative reviews this person became extremely rude and aggressive, marked my job enquiry unsuccessful and hung up on me. P.S. It appears that Glen is not just extremely rude and unprofessional person but he is also a liar. There were no 12 phone calls. I made only 2 calls with inquiries in regards to company services; the second - to clarify previously unclear quote over the phone contradicting to the website info; and the third call was to clarify the requirement of printing & signing the quote or just push of the Accept button on the website. At the same time I innocently asked about some negative reviews on the company's website. As a result I received immediate angry reaction, unprovoked aggressive behaviour, heard all possible swearing and statement that my enquiry is considered by Glen unsuccessful and that he will not do the job. Following that he continued to send me rude and aggressive SMS messages. I believe that no one should deal with such unprofessional person regardless of how cheap are his quotes. There are quite a lot of negative feedbacks. This person should learn how to behave and be polite with his potential clients.

Glen gas terrible communication skills and needs to respect his paying customers a bit more. Had Static Blue blue do gas/electrical/smoke alarm compliance checks and they failed me on all three items, telling me I needed to perform lots of rectifications including new switchboard (actually wasn't required til 2024 but I just went ahead with it), and told me I had to elevate rangehood 1cm higher, meaning a kitchen reno would have been required. I rang Energy Safe Victoria and they advised that for older houses the newer regulations are not applicable, told Glen this and he was extremely dismissive. Said his guy was on hold to ESV for thirty mins to clarify this but didn't get through and couldn't waste any more time and that he would not budge on his asessment of my rangehood. I even offered to call ESV, wait on hold and then pass on his plumber's details to get ESV to call him back but he refused. Ended up paying a second company an additional $400 to go in and assess/pass my rangehood, and they found faulty issues with the previous assessment and work done by Static Blue so I then had to pay more to correct this work! Do not recommend, if only for the terrible customer service. Didn't they teach you that the customer is always right, Glen?

Be very wary using this company. Glen is extremely rude to deal with. He inspected 2 units 2 weeks apart, passed unit 1, but not unit 2, they are exactly the same & he has inspected them twice before. Upon questioning this, he said he used a contracor for one of the units. When I questioned why 1 would pass & the other not, wanting clarification, he became really rude & aggressive. Don't trust him, seems he just trying to make extra money from extra repairs. I contacted the VBA & Energy safe Vic, for clarification, they were bothin agreement with me, but when i forwarded the information to Glen, he said I apparently, didn't give them the correct information, even though I read to them his exact report, word for word. I'm no expert in this area, so did my own research, with the proper authorities, but still not good enough for Glen.

I sent a request to Static Blue in March 2022 after reading all the positive reviews to undertake mandatory electrical and gas safety checks at my investment property. They took 1.5 months to organize a time to undertake the checks and scheduled it for 3rd June. On 19 May I receive an email from Glen saying they are cancelling the job because the tenant requested to come after 3.30pm on Friday and they can’t do the job for normal rates and wished us good luck in finding another contractor. I asked how much it costs to do the job with their overtime rates since they took such a long time to organize and I don’t have time to look for another contractor. They never responded and ignored it altogether, leaving me helpless. Very unprofessional and negligent behaviour considering that this is a mandatory requirement.

My tenant was very complimentary of the people who came and undertook the inspections. Her questions were answered professionally and courteously, and she would be happy to have them back again when needed. From an enquiry and billing standpoint I found this company to be efficient and did what they said they would do without issue. Reports were very thorough (photos and explanations of all items tested) and sent in a timely manner afterwards, and a quote was sent a couple of days later in case I wanted to use Static blue to fix the issue they found.

Great experience! Only discrepancy was both contractors (gas & electric) were super early. Which was fine as I work from home and didn't have meetings, but flagging I guess for future. Both sets of workers were respectful, diligent, clearly experts in their field and were helpful in explaining to me any issues that have presented with the gas and electricity in my home. Also clearly explained anything they changed and fixed. Would definitely use again, thank you!

Jordan arrived promptly and was a courteous, friendly professional from start to finish. Unlike many trades people he was clear and concise in explaining what he needed to do and completed the job expertly with no fuss and no mess. He was respectful, tidy, organised and affable while he worked . He even finished the job sooner than the estimated time. Tradesmen who arrive on time and text to let you know as well. Very efficient, clean and tidy. Great tradesmen who know what they are doing and who do it expertly. I have had many experiences with electricians and Static Blue is definitely at the top of the list for quality and service. I would highly recommend Static Blue to any one that needs a top quality electrician.

Keep having to chase up for an invoice that I was told will be billed by a specific date. After multiple email follow ups and phone calls, I get excuses like "I have too many emails to deal with and will try get it to you" - Glen. Poor communication and not a customer centric business. Not sure why one would not want to be paid as I said I'll pay it straight away.

Had Static blue do my recent compliance on a rental property. They found issue with gas which fully understand. But they then quoted the repair which was 50% - 75% above the rate from 2 other suppliers. Just felt that doing the compliance and then quoting what I felt excessive cost to rectify was a conflict. Work itself seems fine, tradies were good, but Static Blue director went off the rails and instantly threatened me "with tradesman and lawyers on standby" when I asked for the Plumbing Compliance Cert prior to full payment. Really unprofessional.

Unresponsive. Failed the checks and sighted issues that were not clear and did not receive any reply, elaboration when asked. Quotes for took over a week and were higher than several competitor quotes.
