Overall it’s tourist attraction, so expect a long line even though you have bought tickets in advance, crowded ferry, 20 mins wait for line and security. Plus the security was extremely grumpy, shouting a name while we were waiting, I thought they discovered firearm in the luggage or something, turned out the were just try to find the person If you don’t have the ticket to the crown, this trip might take u 1 to 2 hours, I was not interested in the Ellis Island so went back to where we started. Honestly nothing fancy and everyone just here for photos, if you know you know. One of the spot that you have to go, but first time is the last time.

We were short on time, but it was our first time in NYC so naturally we want to see the Statue of Liberty. This was a nice compromise from riding the ferry. We caught just as the sun set. It was beautiful to the eye but not close enough to capture a clear photo with an iPhone 13. Still recommend if you are trying to see the highlights but don’t have a lot of time. Plus it was free.

The vista point is currently closed due to construction! But you can walk along the paved river path and get a decent shot of the Statue of Liberty if you have a good zoom. Plenty of places to sit and relax. Nice little park surrounding it. Close to the port of ferry subway station and the Staten Island ferry terminal. Enjoy!

From here it is possible to get a glimpse of the steel lady although you need a good camera to get a nice picture. Best is to take the ferry from here to liberty island. Get your tickets upfront as there’s a lot of people.

Crazy crowded and the boats on a Friday were an absolute nightmare, from getting on a long line to not even being able to find a seat on the rocky boat, it’s was slightly traumatic. Getting there was not that great, the view is still far u less u pay to go up close and into the statue.

It’s nice because you can just relax there. Most people want to just take a ferry and get right up close, but for us movers and shakers, this is good. You can enjoy it’s incredible presence without having to get in line and do a lot of cattle line style stuff.

Tickets for the fairy are expensive, the wait is long, there's no one to keep control of the wait line, ppl shove and skip to the front of the line. Couldn't get tickets to go inside the statue since they were sold out. Truly not worth that long waits. More

We took a guided tour to both Liberty Island and Ellis Island, which honestly wasn’t worth the money we paid. The guide was great but the tour is reasonably priced and easy to navigate without a guide and includes ferry tickets between

7-20-23 currently under construction so there were fences and stuff in the way. I am sure after it’s all done it would look nice. Parking was a thing too. Well getting there was a beast but this was my first time driving in NYC which is an

This was a seamless tourist experience for us. A few tips - book your ferry tickets online. Go very early - it gets very crowded and in the summer the heat is very difficult. Make sure you pay attention to which ferry you are taking back -

I was and still am, overwhelmed with joy, excitement, and a tiny bit of grief with this visit. The Statue of Liberty holds many meanings to so many millions of people, some came looking for freedom and opportunity - some leave to continue

Place is under remodeling so they have everything boarded up. Beware of the guys trying to sell you on the boat cruises. They would tell you, there’s no way to see the statue unless you get on the boat. Not true. Just walk around the

Beautiful journey to Liberty Statue and State Island. Long queue to get off the ferry to access the Statue of Liberty. More

The good views are all blocked off by the ferry loading/unloading area but it all looks temporary.

Was great, amazing views, but was under construction, and I could not get as close to the water as possible.

  • Corie Grussing

Seeing the statue in person is something everyone should experience if they can.

Good view for free. It’s nice to just see the Statue of Liberty and memorial.
