My visit to Sterling Theatre was a comedy of errors! As we excitedly bought our tickets, a poster boldly proclaimed, "Sterling Theatre is now paperless." However, the punchline came when they handed us good old paper tickets! It seems like Sterling Theatre didn't get the memo on their own joke. This review is about a year ago I went to see lal singh chaddha today, 1.firstly there was no one to guide us to the seat , the seat was in the first row (top) and there was no way to go there, we were roaming for 10mins and then we saw a staircase at the very end to go upstairs. 2. There were 4 people in the theatre who were smoking, and we could see and smell the smoke which was disgusting, the service should take care of these things, this is the first time I've experienced this in sterling theatre.

Big name with 0 facility. Its like i have not gone to theatre but gone for mills work. Lots of walking while going to screens 3 and again walking to go for interval refreshments. Only 1 toilet i have seen that too on ground florr with huge rushes. No seating adjustment according to children and they are providing cushion for the same which was lying at corner with full of dirt. Now i understand why PVR is ahead of all classs in theatre. Seats are very very uncomfortable in sterling if u book a corner seat then your view to the screen is blocked by the speakers attached to the wall.i dnt recommend sterling to any one. It was more like couple friendly theatre rather than a family entertainment. Bad experience and didnt expect from sterling.

I recently watched the Fast X movie at Sterling Cineplex, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The movie itself was unsatisfactory and did not meet expectations. Moreover, the condition of the seats was subpar, with dirt and limited legroom, which made the overall seating uncomfortable. To add to the frustration, there was a seating mix-up, with people occupying seats that were not assigned to them. This lack of order disrupted the viewing experience. It is important for a cinema to prioritize cleanliness, comfort, and proper seating arrangements to ensure an enjoyable movie experience for all patrons. I hope Sterling Cineplex takes note of these concerns and works towards improving their facilities and management.

It's a very popular theatre in south Mumbai cst , it has 3 screens and reasonable ticket rates , it has a canteen with all branded snacks available , and also outside the screen there are popcorn , samosa ,chips and coldrinks stalls available at reasonable price The theatre is designed in a way that each side of the screen is giving you good dimensions of the screen. Where the you sir in balcony , mid selection or lower seats all gives you the same experience must carry you jacket because the ac here is quite low in temperature comfortable chairs , and there is a pay and park outside the theatre for your vehicles , separate washrooms for boys and girls , must visit with family and friends

This is probably the worst cinema theatre I’ve have ever been to. They don’t have a free space for the people to stand while we await for them to clean up. The show was supposed to start at 8.20 however they kept us waiting until 8.40. I booked a show for a 3d movie, the picture quality and sound was so pathetic. The 3d glasses were so dirty that. The entire movie they kept shuffling the quality from 3d to 2d. The seats were not at all comfortable.These is the worst experience I have ever had. Please don’t waste your hard earned money or your precious time going here. Spend few more bucks and choose a good theatre.

Located next to CSTM. This theater has the worst screen (size, resolution, contrast, brightness etc) and sound available at that price. Since there was not much crowed, we changed our seats and moved to front row and then could able to see the screen at least. Another problem is the spaces between the rows of seats, it's too small to pass. The chances of you stamping someone's foot or you getting stamped is too high. Overall it's not definitely worth the money.

have been to sterling many times, but only to screen 1.... last visit was screen 2 didn't realise it would be so different. screen 2: seats average, screen viewing angle may cause some pain on neck, feels like nostalgic cinema halls, price is also not tht less (280 bucks a seat) comparatively screen 1 is better, better seats , better sound and visuals.. cost for screen 1 & 2 are same, but screen 1 is far better..

Show timing was at 2.45pm i reached at 2pm at booking counter and was told if show runs only then tickets would be confirmed at show timing.. then as i was excited for movie i booked it through BMS and guess what show got canclled .. Entire excitement of entertainment got screwed up…thank god was Solo.. Never gonna Plan a movie date with friends/famil… BAD experience…they need to work on their technical issue

Seen Guardians of the Galaxy. A movie night after a long time at Sterling. The theatre is still well maintained and has a seperate cafe downstairs serving Subway and Ice Creams. The theatre is well kept with comfortable seats. It was a 3D movie and the glasses given were clean and strong. The cinema cafes popcorn was a bit soggy but worth repeating the good old days experiance.

Well located and maintained, Sterling has been a long favourite of Mumbai cinemagoers. Seating layout is a little troublesome, especially if you're at the top and center! Visuals are great, and so is the sound. Tickets are also more affordable than others nearby and popcorn doesn't cost a kidney either. Overall, recommended to watch a movie here!

Located next to CST. Clean washrooms that are located on the top floor. It is the best theaters to watch a 3D film as it is a 3D dolby cinema with dolby 3D glasses. Screen is clean and bright. Enjoyed the well tuned surround sound, balanced sound wherever you sit. Delight for a audiophile. Very underrated theatre for the great movie experience.

One of the best and most economical theaters of South Mumbai... Has good snacks and tickets are more than reasonable if you compare it with any other theatre in the area. The theatre is hygienic and staff very prompt and humble...bathrooms can be worked upon but over all great place in today's day and age to watch movies

Amazing experience, went there to see Pathaan Movie first day. The place was crowded but the staff managed the crowd well, in a systematic manner. The seating is comfortable. Sound quality is good. There are a lot of options for eating. There are joints like subway and subaro pizza as well. Food is reasonable in cost.

One of the old theatres in South Mumbai but very well maintained throughout the years, The Screen 1 which is the big screen is amazing, picture quality and audio wise. The Prices are also very reasonable of tickets and food compared to the other theatres nearby. It's way better than Metro I feel.

So many fond memories attached to this fabulous feel good cinema house of yore. Seen many many english movies with Dad, then with friends and lastly many matinees with my girlfriend who now is my wife. Earlier it was a single theatre now made a multiplex or cineplex called ‘Sterling Cineplex’.

Located at 5 minutes walk from CSMT. Good place to watch movies. I have seen two films at this place. The screens and seating have old vibe. Seats are comfortable. Sound is good. Recommended to select seats much closer to screen or center ones since the rows don't slope much towards back.

I have been visiting this theater for 7-8 years. It has managed to remain the same after all these years. This has been my go to spot for all the 3d Marvel movies on a budget. The prices of the tickets are very affordable and the theater offers great popcorn(which is also affordable).

Sterling Cineplex remains my favorite place for movies since decades. My only complaint is the AC temperature which is very cold. I don't understand why do they keep the temperature setpoint so low which not only causes discomfort to the patrons but also wastes energy.

The seats in Sterling's theater are cramped and uncomfortable, particularly for healthy or average height individuals. For a more comfortable movie experience, try New Excelsior Mukta A2, unless they don't have the shows you want to see. I would not recommend Sterling.

WORST experience. Our movie was at 10:30 and it supposedly for cancelled due to projector issues ar 9. However we were not informed at all and only got to know when we were trying to enter the theatre. This is very poor customer service. Do not recommend.

I loved the food lobby here. So many different brands available. Halls are not like the ones that we see in new theatres. It has the old style but manageable. They didn't let me in by seeing the ticket on my phone. I had to get the tickets from counter.

There is sbarro and Subway inside the theatre to eat during intermission, but otherwise theatre was above average and arrangement of seats weren't great. I would suggest taking a seat somewhere in the middle instead of the back. Comfortable seats.

Cinema Hall is good. Environment is also amazing.But the thing is if you are short heighted then do not book the last seats you might face difficulties while watching a movie. Experience was good at this theatre. Near by places are also amazing.

So had gone to watch the movie satya prem ki katha,loved the ambience and yes to be precise liked the washroom too would like to mention that theres very less gap in between the chairs where we sit.thats it i loved it sterling

Seats were quite comfortable and clean, since the seating angle is a little relative to the screen so no heads also cam in the way. Overall good from the price point. Would have been great if the screen size was little bigger.

Its an average cinema hall i used to go before covid n now since 3 yrs not visited simple reason not clean, secondly college crowd of nearby sidharth college n othet south mumbai n u know why dey come i need not say.

Parking here is way too expensive! 50₹ for a bike like seriously! Itne main toh car park hojati hai! Theatre is average! The screen on the 1st floor is very small I don't remember the number but you will know

Always my favourite from last 45 years, even after became multiplex also. Sound system is fantastic. Seating arrangement and space between seats also very good. You can enjoy the movie in this theater.

We watched Guardians of the Galaxy 3 in 3D... the glasses were clean and comfortable... We had the cheese sandwich, chesse chutney sandwich and coffee... all of it was vert tasty...

Screening is not perfectly angled. Sitting arrangements can be improved. But sound quality is amazing. Nearer to Busiest station of Mumbai, CSMT. At walkable distance of 5 minutes.

Really big showroom, cozy seats. -1 star, because when they run commercials, they turn the volume up so much that you have to scream so the person next to you will hear anything.

Reminds you of old Bombay. View of the screen gets obstructed if you are seated in the middle or back rows as the seats are on one flat level instead of stair-type floor layout.

The last seat does not have a space to strech your legs while watching movies specially of any old person chose the last row seat please avoid it others all things is good there

Worst seating arrangement .Even in middle seats you'll feel like you're watching movie from front rows . Some seats are literally broken we weren't able to seat properly either

A multiplex in South Mumbai which is very economical. Screen 1 has a very good screen and sitting arrangement as compared to screen 2

Biggest USP is that the prices are similar to when we were in college. Samosas ae the same too. It's a cost saving evening outside.
