I originally approached Storage King Dee Why with some trepidation - my expectations were of a big firm, big business, big prices and inflexible with the service that they offered. I was very wrong! Yes, a big firm, lovely new storage facility, excellent security, 24 hour access, very clean, nice well kept toilets, beautifully presented "units" with happy helpful staff who remember my name on every infrequent visit I make to access my goods stored there. My need was somewhat dynamic, and the staff bent-over backwards to accommodate me. I was moving out of Port Macquarie to Sydney doing most of the moving myself over a period of weeks, needing a largish storage unit initially to "buffer" the stuff that I brought down while I found somewhere in Sydney for me and my family to live. I needed a unit that had large easy access that enabled me to both unload and reload with minimal distance between the unit and my trailer, plus "lay-out" space to sort my chaos. No problems! Once I had moved in to my rental house I needed a much smaller, cheaper unit for long-term (up to 4 years) storage with infrequent access - a longer "trip" from trailer to unit was no problem - a great unit that met my needs exactly was provided on the top level. These guys could not have been more flexible, making a tedious and drawn-out move to Sydney so much easier. Pricing was very competitive, and there were no "penalty" payments involved in moving seamlessly from one type of storage to another. Just an adjustment for the relative costs of the units. I can only say "Thanks guys! Great job, well done!". I look forward to continuing my business with you for some years. I strongly recommend Storage King Dee Why (actually in Cromer) to anyone needing storage in that area.

We have been using Storage King Dee Why since it’s opening month and have had nothing but positive experiences. Steve is organised, courteous and endeavours to do that little bit extra for all clients and he’s got a fantastic team working with him who have changed very little in the last almost two years. We have never had any issues accessing our rented spaces and when we’ve looked at moving to bigger/smaller spaces the staff have always been upfront with coats and honest about whether it’s the right solution even if it means saving the customer some money! The shop has a huge variety of useful stock and storage items and the amenities (bathrooms etc) are always clean and in good working order. I wish I could keep utilising this storage service because it’s the best BY FAR on the Northern Beaches.

The Manager Steven and Brett who work in the office were absolutely lovely and went above and beyond with helping me. They showed me all of the fire safety measures they have in place and assured me they have a back-to-base alarm for security and fire. It’s a new facility so clean and lovely with a big lift, new trolleys, and brand new units so I was able to choose which size and even location suited me best. They were also incredibly wonderfully patient with me while I went over the contract with a fine tooth comb!! Their customer service was outstanding and given that I was moving from another storage facility after an incident last year (fire) they made such a difference to me personally during my emotional move of my salvageable items. I can’t recommend this facility or it’s staff higher!

Bottom line, working with Storage King, Dee Why is an absolute breeze!! The decision to choose this facility to run my entire business from was crucial. The premises are brand new, extremely clean, dry, secure and have state of the art fire protection, along with being easily accessible in all types of weather & super affordable! The team, Steve, Brett & Kim understand my business & the importance of my ever expanding & contracting storage needs, which they handle professionally, with energy & enthusiasm, no request is ever too big or small, they smile & make it happen for me & I couldn’t be happier. At Storage King Dee Why, I know my business is in excellent hands.

I required storage for my new Property Styling business. I highly recommend this facility! Great location, new and clean premises, great amenities and friendly and accommodating staff! It was a bonus getting in early just after the opening of the facility, as I had a great selection of available storage units to choose from. I secured a number of storage units within the same vicinity with drive-up access for a removalist truck. High security. Extended hours access to storage units 7 days per week. 50 % off for the 6 months was also such a great bonus. Ticks across the board for my business requirements!

As a first time user of hired storage space, I had a lot of questions and concerns. It can be fairly confusing to know what to book, how much is appropriate and when your belongings are accessible. Thankfully the team at Storage King are very understanding, knowledgeable and really accommodating. Both Peter and Steve have provided so much practical information and was a great facilitator through the whole process. They are very flexible and helpful, it makes for an excellent example of customer experience. This is one high tech facility with just about everything you could ask for. Highly recommended

When I moved into my unit my bed base and my lounge would not fit in the lift or in the fire escape stair well. Thankfully, Storage King came to my rescue and met me and my removalists the next morning to set up a storage unit for my furniture. Steven took me and the removalist to the unit and they decided between them that I would need a larger unit which they gave me at no extra cost. Storage King Dee Why is by far the best storage facility on the Northern Beaches. The staff are very friendly and flexible ensuring that your move-in and stay runs smoothly with no hassle. I found that the people from Storage King Dee Why were really great when we needed assistance in setting up a storage unit. This was a difficult job as we were clearing out the house of a friend who had gone into Aged Care. The guys from Storage King Dee Why helped us to select the right unit and were always available for advice when we needed it, during a very stressful time. Very spontaneously I popped into Storage King this afternoon to inquire about a storage locker. I was greeted and attended to immediately upon walking through the door, shown a few different sized units and in less than 60 minutes I was signed up, had storage packaging, phone numbers for handymen & stylists with removalists to come. Very much a one stop shop - great experience. Both professional & friendly!

As a last minute / same-day change of circumstances, I urgently needed to put all my belongings into storage and storage king was recommended to me from a friend. Steve was super friendly and a great help, touring me through my options and offering a great value, 6 month deal. Bonus, free hand sanitiser. If you are tight for time as I was, don’t spend any more of it looking into storage options.

Storage King Dee Why is a brand new and sparkling clean storage facility. It is really convenient for running a small business given the extended access hours, a large courier bay and a forklift and trolleys to move stuff around. Stave (the manager) and his team are great to deal with and are always available to work out a solution to accommodate the requests of my growing business.

I have just taken a Storage Unit from Storage King at Dee Why and I found the Staff and their new building to be excellent. The gentlemen that attended to my needs were all very helpful by showing me around the building and organizing the best storage unit that was best for me. Amazing staff! I called at 4.45pm on Friday and asked if I would be able to make a purchase at 5.05pm as I was stuck in traffic and they closed at 5pm. Fantastic brand new facility with very helpful staff. Able to drive right up to my unit which is great when carrying heavy boxes or in bad weather. Best bit is the place is clean as are the toilets...and there’s a kitchen and conference room too. So much better than where we were previously.
