Organised to move a house full of stuff into storage on a Saturday, had been there in person, paid and arranged it all. When I arrived with the trucks the unit I had was locked. No staff were there. Nobody would answer the phone. Had to call security and head office and wait around for hours with all the people who were helping me until someone came. Shared my intense frustration, and got nothing but a “yeah sorry about that”. Even though on the day we discussed some kind of discount or something to make up for it. Edit: Upon moving out, had another bad interaction with the bloke there. He was just entirely rude & unhelpful. It's also weird that you can't go at any hours any more, that changed recently...?

We needed to store our house contents for a year, so we were being particular about price and quality of facility. After looking around the big operators, we got quotes from around the North Shore, as well as out of Sydney towards Newcastle. The Thornleigh facility was new, secure, clean and in a great location, and Luke and the guys gave us a very knowledgeable, transparent quote with a very competitive rate, rivalling even the out of town facility. While we were packing up our house, they went out of their way to make things easy for us, even delivering extra boxes when we were desperate. We wholeheartedly recommend this facility, and have nothing but praise for Luke and David.

I was looking for storage but found Storage King are not very convenient when I can’t even access the space whenever I like & have to pay more for after hours access. Also if I move out before the end of the month is up they won’t refund my unused rent and so i’ll forfeit my money which doesn’t seem fair. Their prices might seem a bit cheaper than other storage places but then they sting you with a cleaning fee & admin fee. I ended up going elsewhere.

Waited 50 minutes during open hours for staff to return from break with a sign in the door saying “office closed for staff break. Staff will return at 4:45 approx Apologies for any inconvenience. It’s now closing time and no one has returned. Thanks storage king
