Looking at the previous review and my gut instinct - I decided to get another solicitor to continue dealing with the handling of my Divorce proceedings. I am so glad I did. In my 2 hour consultation meeting, I learnt so much and built up such trust and confidence with my new solicitor. He's slightly more experience but I feel that he is worth every penny. During my consultation meeting with my new solicitor, I was told why I had agreed to something on a document which is untrue - I of course indicated that I was advised to. My new solicitor is now trying to rectify this costing me more money. I came across Street Marshall as I was walking by and thought they seem professional and respectable firm who I would trust in dealing with the most stressful thing in my life. I found my whole experience (all 4 months) very impersonal (all 1 and a half hour face to face meeting with the senior partner who was the assigned) and it being very much a business transaction at each visit. Advice to others: - Be aware as you are very much a business transaction ( I get that is what Solicitor's are about) but it should be a personal experience given the fact of what you are going through and the personal information that you will be sharing.

I would not recommend this firm to anyone, particularly if going through complicated divorce proceedings. They do not act on instruction (allowing my ex-husband to break court order, time after time), change barristers at the last minute to one with little experience and could, potentially cost you thousands as they did me (having to sell possessions to pay my ex-husbands debt to them), not to mention the cost of your mental health and well-being. Their conduct is disgraceful, most likely due to the fact that they, like many other law firms, are more concerned with lining their pockets.

We spent time with Christopher Davis in the Croydon office to get advice on our claim against a builder. From start to finish on this appointment, the support and advice from the staff at Streeter Marshall has been comprehensive and professional. Christopher has been particularly helpful spelling out options, likelihood of success, risks associated and likely costs. He also pointed out avenues we could pursue in the effort to press this forward. I would recommend using their services in all instances. Thank you for your support and advice.

The singularly most stressful event to ever have happened to me. We used David Moore for our conveyancing and were very pleased with the service we received. Any difficulties in the conveyancing process were efficiently dealt with and we were kept fully informed throughout.
