This is a nice library, the librarians are helpful and the patrons are nice and quiet. I always place holds online and then go pick up my books there, it's very easy. You can either check out books with a librarian (there is a plexiglass up), or there is also a self-checkout available, which I sometimes use. There are tables set up inside for those who want to study or read. There is a nice children's corner and I believe it is very popular with families in the community, especially their storytime hour. Only con is that sometimes parking is tight, it's kind of a small lot. There are a couple of spots for electric cars. There is some homeless around, but they are never a problem, honestly they're part of the community and everybody knows who the individuals are. Note that the hours differ based on the day, they don't open until noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Right now, I believe masks are still required indoors.

Where do I begin?? This wonderful library has helpful staff, a separate Quiet Zone for studiers (awesome), some comfy armchairs, free wifi, frequent plugs on the floor to charge your laptop, and ample FREE parking... The icing on the cake is that I lost my new MacBook's charger while I was there (fell out of my backpack, I presume)--I called 2 days later and THEY HAD IT!!!!! Saved me $80 (those stupid things are soo pricey!) Whether it was a honest staff member or angelic library goer, boy I am so grateful! LOVE this place. It's my new Studying Central

My boys and I love this library. They have great programs for all interests and all ages. We have enjoyed reading with the BARK dogs, children's book club, and a special event learning to draw comics. They have a great supply of books for children and young adults, and you can always use the LAPL website to order books they don't happen to have. The library is always clean, the noise level is appropriate, and the staff are nice. Parking can be tight in the lot, but I have always found a spot within a block.

Nice little library. Has a pretty good amount of tables to study/work at. That includes some arm chairs on the sides by the window and back "Quiet area." Just like any other public library it seems - you'll have your homeless people in here and they for lack of better words, stink. This causes some areas and chairs to reek of body oder. Also, the librarians should really implement a rule on noise level. This place can get way too loud for a library...

Clean and comfortable, but if you want a quiet study environment, this is not the library for you. Because of the design and acoustics of the library, the space is loud even with quiet discussions. The library could benefit from artistic hanging sound dampening installations. Oh, and there's an electric charging station...for the long gone EV1.

Very horrible library and customer service . The library is very loud, there are tutors coming here to teach children , which is encouraged , but they are in the quite area , where people need to study , talking loudly , and the librarians do nothing about it . Would not recommend if you want to study for a test or boards . Very loud .

Wonderful experience at our first Chess-For-Kids class today: Kristina, the Library Youth Coordinator, was fantastic, helping my grandchild enjoy a positive view of the game, learning incrementally by real-life ups and (not really down) downs of Chess, part of the fun-loving and interested young group attending. Thank you, Kristina!

Very noisy... I came today for the first time to study here and it's unbelievably noisy, even the staff members aren't paying attention and do their tasks and don't care. people's cell phones keep ringing and no one says anything... It's a clean space though! I wish they had more strict rules for keeping the place less noisy.

Library is always the best place to go to have some rest and feel peace of mind here. I like people here, they know where every book is located, and they know their inventory very well, that helps me a lot. When I have more opportunities, I will definitely help them even more support.

Terrible place if you need a quit place to read. The patrons just talking and joking, Especially people just using the cell phones like there is no one around. The worst part is the librarians are talking amount themselves and not enforce the rules .

One of my favorite libraries in Studio City! They always have the books I want and the staff is always so helpful and courteous. Also it saves a ton of money to check books out from the library rather than buying them at the store.

I come here a lot. Clean and well kept branch. Friendly staff. Good hours if operation Drop-off box outside of the branch for book returns outside of their business hours. Parking lot and free street parking

Its everything you want in a library. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They have always gone above and beyond for me and my family. Oh, and a great book sale on the last Saturday of every month.

Great library! Very useful if you need any books for a project or just something to read for fun. The librarians are very helpful and nice and they will do all what they can to meet your needs.

Donating books. They lend us a cart so we can wheel them in. Lovely folks and a beautiful library. Not big but, from the traffic inside, well loved.

  • Andre Martinez

We still need libraries!! It's great to come here and be able to focus on whatever I'm working on. But at the same time get out of the house.

  • Mia Fillene

Always a joyful visit. Great place to pick up and drop off your books. Come in off Whitsett. Easier to make two rights into the parking lot.

  • juliafarino

Small library with friendly, helpful staff. They organise lots of library events to attend and there are several book clubs to join.

Drinks are okay here! (I mean they permit drinks inside, not that they serve mediocre drinks)

  • Dena Darvish Derakhshan

The library has low-cost meeting rooms that house ~60 people. Call or go online to reserve.
