It's a cool store been in this place every time I've been to Opry Mills sense it opened . I'm not going to lie the only thing I've ever done in this place is take pictures of things i found that I like, then find them cheaper on Amazon or Ebay not always the same thing but very similar and same brand . When I say cheaper I mean like a third the price there's just no way am paying those kind of prices for anything it just seems irresponsible. Sun& Ski Sports May want to consider talking to their vendors and suppliers and seeing if they can come up with some kind of No Frills sub brands for example the shoes HOKA for example chould make a sub-brand with the same sole and overall design look and mechanisms that make them HOKA but make the upper and rest of the shoe out of some type of inexpensive but tough material and make them in four basic colors gray , black , white, navy . We're going into a bad recession they really need to consider using this concept for their entire store or all the stuff they have now will end up on the sale rack anyways before it's over with. It's better to get ahead of the curb then try to catch up with it.

They advertise price matching but only as long as you don’t find a really good price. I brought in an ad, and it is exactly the same bike down to all of the specs. I asked the first representative that was helping me, he said “oh yeah, absolutely we do price matching as long as the specs are the same, we do it all the time”. He called a manager up to help in the computer, she asked what do you need help with? He says price matching. I say, do you do that here? She says oh yeah, absolutely. Where did you find it? I bring up the website & she gets a call to her manager. And says oh no we can’t do that. That’s too big of a discount. Brent Smith group manager says we advertise price matching but only if you don’t find a really good deal. I don’t know that I’ll be back after that. Either you have a policy and you stick to it across-the-board and are accountable to your customers or you don’t bother advertising it and you be upfront with your customers from the get go.

I was not expecting such a great store. I was surprised at how incredibly knowledgeable and friendly their staff was, and how great they would be at helping me find what I was looking for in a ski mask. They were very informative and give me the information and advice I needed to narrow down my opinions to make an informed purchasing decision. Sun & Ski vastly exceeded my expectations of ski goggles options (and equipment in general) they would have in stock. Their prices were also exceptionally competitive, all of the ski goggles in store that I price checked were a better price than what I could find online. I would highly recommend checking this store out if you are looking for sporting equipment i the area.

My shopping experience today at Sun and Ski Sports in Opry Mills was fantastic! Brandon, who works at this store, was extremely friendly and helpful. He was very knowledgeable about the gear and helped me choose the ski boots that are best for me. I have been to this store multiple times and have always had a five star customer experience. The last time I was at this store, which was a few weeks ago, Ronnie and Lance were the store staff that helped me, and they were very friendly and knowledgeable. Also, I have been having my skis tuned here for many years and have always been very impressed with their service. It is nice to have an outdoor shop of this caliber in Nashville!

This store is located inside the Opry Mills Mall. This Athletic store had a variety of athletic equipment, clothing, bicycles, outdoor sports, etc. It was extremely hot inside the store the day we were there but they did have a lot of fans placed in various spots throughout the store to help cool it off. The store was clean & well kept & the employees all seemed friendly and happy to help when needed. The prices seemed fair and they did have lots of great sales going on. They had multiple cashiers working so you didn't have to wait in line for long. I would visit this store again when we visit this mall.

DO NOT GO HERE!! The store itself had nice options but the sour part of my fiancé and I's experience was when we were rudely mocked by the cashier, I'm told that it might have been the manager of the store here in the Opry Mills. He rudely spoke to my fiancé and laughed at her face when trying to figure out how to buy this cute sign for a Father's Day gift. We come to find out it's from another store. Sure, tell us that, don't laugh at my fiancé's face and then call her a "stupid redhead" when she's out of earshot. DO NOT GO HERE if you want to be respected and honored as a human being.

Huge selection of Columbia and North Face Clothing & apparel,. They have other brands like Spyder and the pogandia "not spelled right" ski's, poles, snowboards, and much much more. It's fun to just look at the extreme camping & extreme sports goods that they have. Bought my daughter a North face jacket she'd been wanting, could've ordered the color she wanted online thru their website, she couldn't wait so she picked the grey one,. Got a good deal after Christmas sales,. Check them out.

We went in this store to check it out. While I'm no expert outdoor adventurer I do consider myself well versed in the outdoors. Saying that, I feel this store has a wide variety of outdoor related items. They have everything from swimwear to hiking shoes to a huge selection of bikes. I say all this to also mention the prices here are a bit on the high side. For instance they had some spyder coats for $600! While spyder is a luxury brand you could find those for $100+ cheaper online.

Security followed us around the store like we (2, 57 year old elderly adults were casing the joint!!!!!!) Quite embarrassing for the store I would think!!!! Is that ALL your silly rent a cop knows how to do My wife purchased a pair of Hoka shoes. And even then Barney Fife still stood and stared at me until we left the store... Get a real job little boy!!!! We will not recommend your store to anyone. What a HUGE WASTE OF OUR TIME!!!!!

It took me a week to get in to contact with a person via chat, which I had tried 17 time previosly, b/c no one is available via phone and email was only answered a couple times. After finally getting a live person on chat, I find the bike I order has been sold out and they cancelled my order without any notification. This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had online.

Austin was great in helping me determine what the best running shoe would be for my needs. Knowledgeable and eager to help I was very impressed by the professionalism and insight offered by Austin, and the quick communication by the rest of the team. I left with a pair of Brooks Ghost Max’s and will be coming back when I need another pair of running shoes.

Fantastic service! Super kind, helpful, and knowledgeable staff helped us choose the right bike for our child. And, you can’t beat their policy to bring the bike back within two years to apply half of the original purchase price toward a larger bike - for growing kids, this is an incredible deal. Skip the other stores and buy all your kids bikes here.

Cool store but way over priced. I walked by several associates and was never asked if I needed help. I was looking for some hiking pants with zip away shorts. The largest size they had was 36 waistline and nothing cheaper than $80. I get that these places have to make money but it's a little too high for what you got.

Brandon was super kind in helping me with my new bindings and snowboard. Installing my bindings took less than 10 minutes and he was very knowledgeable on snowboarding, as I am a beginner boarder. I had the best experience with the store and staff and will definitely return for all my snowboarding needs. Thanks guys!

I had no idea this store existed till a few months ago. I absolutely love this place. The staff members are awesome. They know their stuff and are eager to help. The atmosphere is laid back but make no mistake these guys are professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

they played some really odd music and products are all high end. unless you are looking for shoes or are very serious about your hobby I would shop around. bicycles were over $2k which is not unheard of but it isn't for a normal enthusiast either so you decide.

Interesting selections, but compared to other stores, found some items a bit pricey. 4 employees (I believe) behind the counter, but no greetings or thanks for coming in. They didn't have anyone checking out, just seemed like they were in there own world.

My first time in nashville, so I went to the mall here. Out of all the stores in the mall this place has the most sweetest and helpful employees unlike all the other stores who didn’t care if we needed help or not. But to add the store was neat and clean.

Great store in the mall. They have anything and everything related to outdoor wear etc. The team is very helpful and goes out of the way to treat and help with any of your request. I check pricing on several items and they are right where they should be.

Excellent customer service! We had help offered to us a little more than I would normally like, but the help was definitely there if I had questions. I appreciate that. I ended up making a return and it was quick a smooth so I appreciate that as well.

Went to get fitted for snowboard boots. The guy that helped us was awesome. Very friendly knowledgeable and honest. Checked some prices online and they were comparable so I'd definitely go here for stuff that you need to see and try on before you buy.

Visited over Thanksgiving and had a great experience! Awesome selection. We picked up a variety of new gear: bags, shoes and some clothing. The staff was super helpful with sizes and suggestions. Definitely swinging in next time we are in Franklin.

I had a very good experience with Luke, the manager who processed my return of a merchandise that didn't fit well. He was helpful and made it simple with no questions asked. He also made sure, each customer on the floor was being helped.

Ronnie at the bike shop was super helpful and helped me with my tune up. Their bike shop is tip top and also had a good collection of electric and name-brand bikes. I will definitely be coming back for service on my bikes and new bikes.

Sale signs on the racks are misleading. Staff are friendly, but this doesn't make up for sale signs on racks that aren't on sale. Several racks were like this. Instead of floor personnel flocking to you, they should organize the racks.

Huge selection on overpriced T-shirts, branded cool stuff, and designer shoes. High end bikes & gear and everything swimming you'd need. Big selection but be careful not to dent your credit card if you buy too much.

Love this place. A guy named Moo is the best! He helped me find a great ski jacket and he was amazing help and super personable! Moo made our experience at Sun and Ski super fun. Will definitely be going back.

Never been in this store before but had a lot of extra time on my hands and decided to peek in. WHHHHAAAA They carry every single one of my favorite brand AND some new interests that I gave never heard of.

Looking for women’s snow boots. Wife interested in Sorel brand, Bingo! This store carries them! Hard to find in a city where it doesn’t snow much. This is a great source. Recommend coming here.

This place has a lot of outdoors type items. Not many sales but has some unique items that I like. They had many bikes in stock. Racks full of clothes and many shoes, sandals, and flip flops.

Great selection of shoes and sporting gear. The pricing was good and they have it all from swimsuits to ski gear. We also appreciated the knowledgeable sales staff when looking for shoes.

The manager of the Opry Mills location was rude and did not accommodate to our payment for purchase and would not help manually enter a card based on a malfunction of their card scanner.

It is a nice spot for all things outdoor activities, cold and hot weather. Pricey.. but you get what you pay for which is all the quality brand name gear!

Came in for a full suspension install front and rear with other parts, very knowledgeable staff and polite! I'll be back in the spring for more upgrades!
