I have been using this car wash since I moved to the area almost 6 years ago. Ownership changed at some point in the past year, and here is what I’ve noticed since then (good and bad). Good: - More Vacuums - Free towels for wiping off any lingering water from the wash Bad: - Quality of wash has lowered. The most recent time I went, there was still a good amount of dirt left on the rear and roof of my Mazda CX-5. Additionally, the person spraying soap on my windshield did a lackluster job on the front windshield, and didn’t even spray the back. Under previous management, it was much more thorough. - This is the big one, and the key reason for my 2-Star review: Almost every time I’ve been here since the ownership change, I’ve been pressured to buy a membership or a more expensive wash by someone standing at the self-service booth, and when I tell them I’m not interested, they pressure me to write a Google review right then and there (before the service is even provided… let that sink in). As someone who goes here with intention, and knows what they want, being slowed down by someone trying to upsell me something I don’t need is a huge turn off. Not to mention the time it takes to try to upsell the people in line in front of me, making the wait even longer. If I thought buying a membership would bring me value, I would have done so based upon all the membership deal advertising plastered around before you even get to the person who pressures you to buy one. All in all, my recent negative experiences have made me lose interest in returning. It’s a shame since it’s the most convenient location for me.

My husband and I have been going to this car wash for several years without any issues. It seems to have gone downhill now with the new management. We went over the weekend and they were very busy. The attendant was rushing to get people through and was being negligent. He didn't hose off the car, just sprayed a little water over the windshield, and he was putting the cars in way too close to each other. Like maybe a foot or two away. Once we got towards the end of the wash we were so close to the car in front of us that we were going to hit it as it was drying and we were still moving on the tracks through the wash. My husband hit the brakes, causing us to become disconnected from the tracks and we heard some scraping noises. At this point we were at the end but I was afraid to stay and let the car dry because I didn't want us to get rear ended like we almost did to the car in front of us. So we left and of course the car had water spots and didn't look clean at all. Later on that day we filled up with gas and when we got home the car was reeking horribly of gasoline. We took it in to get looked at and were told it was a leak in the hose most likely caused by hitting something in the road. There were no issues with any leaks or gas smells before we went through the wash so I really don't think it's a coincidence. It ended up costing $130 for the repairs to the car plus the cost of the wash which didn't even clean the car. Complete waste of money and time. We will never be going to this car wash again, obviously.

TLDR: Car wash was fine, detailing was not. For detailing I've had good luck at plaze car wash across town. The story: 7/16/19 Purchased the super clean, seats, and carpet packages for $125. Overall it was fine service. Nice waiting area and detailing staff. Left a $20 tip. Took around an hour. Later I realized they completely missed the inside front windshield and the back rear window. It was dirty enough to drag a finger across it and see the line left in the buidlup of crud. So back to wave wash the next day. While I there I wanted to let the manager know to help them improve and get the inside windows cleaned. After asking for the manager, Shawn came. He asked to see the car without asking why I came back or introducing himself. No even hi. After showing him the windows and explaining what they missed he grunted and without any form of customer service grudgingly offers to have the windows whiped down for free when they finish the cars theyre working on. In otherwords hours. In disbelief, I tried to explain I was just there a one business guy to another to let him know something he might not be aware of. To which he responded, I wasn't here. So I sighed, shook my head and said farewell. Then drove around back to take care of it myself. Found a nice guy working on another detail J. Perez. He politely cleaned the two dirty windows. 5 minutes later it's done and I'm leaving this review.

Ive been going to this car wash since 2012 when it was called wave wash. This car wash has rdcently been rebranded and installed with all new equipment. Ever since this change, the quality of the car wash has gone down and the prices have gone up. For a $15 non basic wash, you would expect a lightly dirty car that comes out reasonably clean, tire shine, and mostly dry. That is far from the truth. I thought maybe it was a coincidence and tried 2 more times and then even tried a different type of vehicle. Same results every single time!! The back of the car is completely dirty, the front always has bugs (not hard baked on bugs). The tire shine doesnt look like anything has been applied to the tires. The dryers at the end do not get most of the water off, so if you are in a rush and drive away, you will get water stains because the water is hard. This is ironic for a brand new state of the art car wash system that was just renovated…. They provide you with wet towels and air nozzles so you can hand dry your own vehicle. What a rip off for $15 car wash. Will not be coming back again.. Update: you post the same review response to every negative review. Why would I pay $15 again to try and see if the experience changed? It has not changed in the 5+ times i have been and notified employees before. How is the next time going to be different?

This is without a doubt the most troublesome car wash place I've ever used. What is good about them is the quality of the wash and the free services they provide. The vacuuming, mat cleaner, clean microfiber towels, and even free air to air up your tires. All that would earn them high marks if only their car wash did not break down regularly. Also, the employees aid with choosing a wash will advocate for you to sign up for a month of car washes and then say it is non-recurring. No option to opt out at the end of the month came. Then comes the recurring charge. I was upset when I realized I had paid for an entire month and did not get any washes during that time because I thought the month promotion I had paid for was over, but it was not. Only when I saw the charge for the 3rd month did I realize the charge was recurring. I decided to just go ahead and use them. Since then, the car wash has been broken down at least twice, the attendants have had me pull up close to a car in front of me, only to have that driver, put their car in reverse, causing me to also put mine in reverse to avoid an accident. I almost got hit by the car directly behind me. They should space the cars farther apart in the future so such incidents don't occur. Until these improvements are made, I'm giving a low rating to Superstar Car Wash

I have been a monthly member for over 1 year. Even before they changed the name. I have had the same car during my membership. I went in on July 16, 2023 as normal. After my wash I noticed my passenger side mirror was bent backwards. I went directly to the office. Jeremiah was the manager on duty. We filled out the customer damage form and submitted it. I received several emails from claims asking me questions and pictures about my claim. As of this week, 1 month later, I received a email stating that my car is not within the 7 years of there supposed warranty to cover car damage by there car wash. The video was looked at and seen how the car came out the wash with my side mirror bent back. I replied to the email asking where this policy was located on there property and the response was "YOUR CLAIM IN DENIED" Teddy Coleman. This shows me the level of professionalism this company shows and I choose to not be quite about it until something more is done for a Loyal customer whom has never had one issue, been coming to you faithful several times a week for over a year... til now!!!

I’ve been to this car wash several times over the last few years but today it felt different. Is it under new management maybe? I didn’t recognize any of the wash attendants and then the guy directing you into the actual wash part was passing out 2 car scents and a dashboard cleaning cloth for free!! The free vacuums at the end got an update too as they looked new and there are more of them now. They have microfiber towels, compressed air, and window spray by the vacuums now too which is an awesome touch. The only part I really didn’t like, and what could prevent me from going back, was the pushiness of the attendant trying to sell me a membership. I had to tell him no literally 5 times. And then he was even offended that I kept saying no. No means no, bro.

It was an okay wash and fair pricing, but they have very few vacuums, which meant s traffic jam and waiting for vacuum spots to open up. I gave up and will have to vacuum it at home. I wasn't impressed when there was still dust along the side of my car near the roof, and there was still obvious residue on my wheels after the wheel-blaster. They have a sign that towel drying isn't necessary because of their spot-free drying agent, but if there were towels (I didn't see them at the drying station from a distance), that would've at least made it possible to remedy those two missed spots. I'll be going to another wash next time so I don't have to fight for a vacuum...

Car wash itself was great. The FRAUD I got on my CC was not. Saturday 7/8/23 I got a car wash. The attendant at the kiosk asked if I wanted to sign up for a membership- it was cheaper for one month than an individual wash. I agreed. I got ready to pay with cash, and he asked me to pay with card- so I did. He then asked for my email address. He obviously took a pic of my card, recorded my email, and then used it to buy $500 worth of groceries from HEB. Thankfully I saw the charge come through at 3am and reported fraud. If there is an attendant working this car wash, do not go. I will not be back and will be canceling this “membership”.

Pulled into this car wash for the first time and got roped into doing a membership. I am having serious regrets about that because I was actually shocked at how NOT clean my car was after the wash. See photos. This was their “top” wash option and the backside of my car looks like it wasn’t even touched. There are still bugs on my front end and my wheels still look atrocious despite the wheel clean supposedly being included in the wash. There is also a sign at the end that says “towel dry not necessary” yet my my car had water all over when I pulled away and now have dried on waters spots on my mirrors and windows.

I am currently trying to cancel my membership and I reached out 11/19 online to cancel. Despite using the exact information provided and giving my ID number provided on the membership tag, the online system could not pull up my account. I submitted an inquiry 11/19 and still have not gotten a response and it’s been 9 days, about 4 business days. I will be going up to their location if I am charged for another month after trying to cancel. The fact that I was told just to call whenever I need to cancel but can never get through to any real person, is crazy.

The car wash itself is fine. Beware of the membership - like other reviewers, I was essentially forced into it by their staff. When I tried to cancel a few months later, I was met by obstacle after obstacle. There is NO way to cancel on the WaveWash site. My RocketMoney app found the parent company (AZ based) and then I waited hours to talk to their customer service. You also have to cancel weeks in advance of the charge. Absolutely ridiculous and such a scam.

This place has one of the nicest people. They’ve always been nice but this time my car needed a jump start and Jerome one of the heads took the time to stop what he was doing go get his car and help me out with the best most kind attitude. I am beyond grateful for his kindness and good vibe. I will keep giving my business to this business. (And I promise to get a new battery, hopefully Interstate Batteries)

I also got fooled into a monthly membership thinking I was getting a one time promotion The membership is next to impossible to cancel. I have been actively wasting my time for weeks going through the website, emailing, and waiting on endless holds on the phone I can already see where this place is headed. It's a real shame Wave Wash sold out

I’ve been coming here for 2+ years with a monthly membership. Price is cheap, The staff is nice (especially Steven). However, they no longer offer detailing services, the wash always leaves spots on the outside. I tried cancelling my membership (which you have to do online) but it keeps charging me. They also do not answer the phone. I would suggest shopping around before moving forward with a membership.

First off, I was able to redeem a FREE CAR WASH. On top of that, after I did my vacuum clean, I noticed an air pressure for the tires. I don't know much about mechanics as embarrassing to say so I wasn't sure if I needed to add air to my tires, Albert and Ray went out of their way to help me. Highly appreciated. I recommend EVERYONE to go to this specific location for the absolute best services!

Moved to Dallas from out of state and bought a new, late-model, glossy white car. When my folks came into town to visit, I wanted them to see it in all its glory, so I brought it by for a little shine. SUPER happy with it. My car looks like I just drove it off the lot, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Swing by some time—you’ll be in and out in minutes, and you’ll be glad you did.

Love this neighborhood carwash!!! It’s always a great wash and they always give me extra dash cleaner wipes and they have fresh clean wipes at each vacuum stand with glass cleaner. Colorful lights inside the wash and always thorough but careful—I pay for the monthly unlimited which is $19.99 and live being able to go by once a week and take pride in my car. Check it out!

Bought online. Parked at the vacuum area to get my sticker. Dustin was very helpful in pulling up my account (you need your card number) and once it's confirmed, you get your sticker. You place it on the outside, so if you have an old one from the inside of your windshield just slap it over. Solomon was helpful in directing me how to go about it. Recommend!

Unbelievably difficult to cancel membership. Going through website prompts you with a 'Cancel Membership' option on the dashboard that does NOT work, and this specific location on Greenville does not have a working phone number. When going into the location, you are prompted to cancel online, which clearly does not work. Terribly run subscription service.

Not sure who is working the drive through at the Greenville avenue location, 8/2/2023. But I really don’t appreciate the attitude because I wouldn’t pull up right next to the car in front of me. I’m paying for my car, not the employee. Should the car wash malfunction or the car in front of me brake, I’m not gonna take a risk of hitting them.

I visited this location for the first time at the end of April and my car was damaged going through the wash. Management has ignored my emails and phone calls even though I filled out an incident report and the assistant manager was on location and I spoke to him when the incident occurred. This is absolutely unacceptable.

Didn't clean for anything. Kept stopping in the middle of the wash. Then the stopped brush arm hit the front of the truck and then swung around and slammed into the side of the truck as well. I got out and checked it and just left.

The drive through carwash itself seems in better shape than the northwest highway location. The only downside here is the space for the vacuums and drying of cars. The northwest highway lovation does have better vacuum access
