I thought I give SK a try since they offer GoodLife members 15% off. I walked in and my 1st question to the girl at the counter was to confirm the discount. I then asked about the products I was looking for and she was helpful and giving me prices after my 15% discount. I picked up a couple of items and went to pay and she was confirming my email details. I paid for my items and didn’t realized right away that I didn’t get my discount. I went my car and realized so came right back in and she tells me items that are already on sale don’t have a further discount. Now that’s deceiving because I asked if there was a discount, we also talked about a few items while I was deciding what I want, couldn’t I have been informed that I don’t get a further discount on some products? I didn’t see it mentioned anywhere including their flyer that they won’t honour GL members discounts. Further more if I returned the items, I would only get a store credit. I never want to purchase from you again so why would I want a store credit? I feel deceived esp for the amount of time I was there, I should have been told not all products get the discount. The same products on amazon are cheaper!!

Went to Supplement King (Beacon Hill) on the morning of the employee pricing event Sept 10, waited in line only to be Very disappointed in the the gift bag given when you spend over xxx dollars. (I've been a long time customer and never seen a bag like this) it just contained a few protein samples.... My girlfriend bought pea protein without noticing and tried to return it as she cannot have peas, it was still sealed! Nope, they refused to take it back. No refunds is the rule. I tried to return my preworkout and even offered the gift bag back (again pre workout was not opened still sealed!!!) No returns again. Very disappointed, i used to enjoy shopping here but i won't be coming again. They are using misleading market tactics, pictures on the flyer shows the bag containing shaker bottles, pre workout, bcaa, etc. Definitely not what i expected, 3 protein samples which they usually hand out anyways. Save yourself some time and money, don't shop here!

Was competitive with other supplement stores, now with their new reward program I'll take my 400$ a month back to SVN Canada for better rewards It has nothing to do with retail pricing. It's the rewards from shopping. I ordered 80$ worth of stuff last week from SVN, I got 8 dollar volume discount, svn points which after about 300$ you spend they will give you 20$ off any order you wish to use them on and the more you spend the better the free gifts. The 2 over 30$ get 10$ off was a good deal, I spent 200$ and received 4$ suplement king bucks lol. Not even a shaker cup. It's hard I agree when you have online shops to compete with but it is also a good thing. I order and 2 days it's at my door. I was going to give a retail supplement store a chance again but never again. That's just me though.

This place was hard to find and I called there for two days straight no one answers the phone. I wanted to make certain they carried a product before I drove down there. Upon no one not answering the phone for the seventh time I tried to call, I finally found the place five minutes later I walk in to see two employees with only one customer and I asked "Do you people not answer your phone here"? I got a blank stare down and one employee stated we were busy. lol I said yeah your store is full of one customer. Upon finally looking around and asking for the product I wanted, they do not carry it and have very little selection in the store. Best to just buy online than go through this waste of time.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. They have everything you need for all kinds of supplements. When I get home to unpack my purchases, I always find a free sample or two that they have thrown into my bag, which is always a treat. A little more expensive than the stuff that they sell at Wallmart, but that's because, even though the brand is the same and the packaging looks mostly the same, there IS a difference. Suppliment King sells the real stuff and works much better and after the discounts from being an Elite member, it works out to be better bang for almost the same buck. Thanks guys!

Not sure if I would recommend them. I online ordered an item, came the next day to collect it from the location and the employee seemed displeased I came in person to pick it up (as it was indicated in the order itself and not requested as a delivery). But the issue I have is the overpriced items! The item I ordered was for $64.99 (already discounted?), but it can be purchased from Walmart for $32.99. That is a massive price difference for the same product. Sure they have some more specialized options, but the price is huge compared to their competitors.

I wanted to buy a product and when I went to purchase it I asked if they had a discount with anytime Fitness which they did, but the girls there had no idea they did and gave me attitude for evening asking. I'm never coming back to the supplement store. To the store owner I'd recommend actually making sure the people you hire don't have attitude problems because they'll make people not want to come back. Also just attach the 10 percent discount to the account so people don't have to keep asking.

We went to Supplement King (beacon hill location) on June 7, 2021 at 8pm but the staff was kinda weird. We said Hi when we came in and he just looked at us so we thought he didn’t hear us. We were looking for something and wanted to ask him something but he was just sitting in the corner and didn’t want to entertain us so we left and said thank you, have a good night and he just looked at us and didn’t say anything. We just didn’t feel welcome at all.

Fantastic customer service! The staff offered me a sample of one of the new products. I also went in for a specific product but they had sold out. A store in Airdrie had it so a staff member went to get it himself and I picked it up at the Beacon Hill location the following day. The staff really go out of their way to help you, and do it on their personal time. Absolutely the best customer service I've had in a very long time.

I was recommended this store by several friends as I’m now on a no chew diet for several weeks and I went in today to look at options to ensure I’m getting enough protein and what not. The lady helping me today was amazing. She listened to why I came in and my situation. We ended up deciding on a meal replacement. She was so helpful and took her time. I feel like a dummy because I forgot her name but she was fantastic.

I want to give a shout-out to CORY, he is consistently super helpful! He’s always pleasant, knowledgeable and answers even my stupid questions honestly! Even on occasions when I’ve ran into him at the gym he will still answer them, or let me know if a product I’ve been looking for has come in and has offered to order in flavours and products not in stock! All around above and beyond customer service! THANKS CORY!!!

I decided to give this place a try. We weren't greeted or even acknowledged. We asked a few questions and the girl was trying to help us but the other guy wasn't helpful at all. He seemed like he was avoiding all customers and made us feel uncomfortable for being in the store. I would rate it one star but the girl was helpful. We almost want to return our products and go to GNC instead.

Supplement king is hands down the best supplement store in the city all of the locations have very knowledgeable staff, they are very professional and very reasonably priced, also they're rewards program is fantastic, I love when companies give out rewards for the support although they don't have too because I would come here regardless for the great staff and products.

The store manager was super helpful and inviting. I didn't know what I was looking for and instead of being intimidating she made me feel comfortable not like most places. They have a wide selection of food products as well which is really helpful when you want a one stop shop! I highly recommend coming to supplement king in beacon hill for all your workout needs!

I didnt get his name but he was the most helpful and knowledgeable person I've dealt with in a Supplement store. Asked my goals out of the products, what I've used before, what I liked or disliked with them, explained what was good for what reasons. Showed me his recommendations and told me why! Walked out feeling confident in what I bought!

They didn't have what I was looking for since it was out of stock, so I was recommended a another product. Once I got to my truck i quickly realized that it was nothing at all what I asked for. Trying to return it a minute later they had refused the return and would only give an instore credit. Bunch of grease balls!

Great staff (they save this review). Horrible shaker cups. 3/3 of these things sit crooked on the threads and leak fluid all over me. Never washed in dishwasher. And they did this from day 1. Even if they try to give them to you for free. Don't take them Wherever these are being produced, they don't pay them enough

Went in the other day after terrible experiences at other locations. Staff were more interested in the conversation they were having then helping us make a sale. Left empty handed and will not be returning to any of their locations. It's easier to just buy products online if I can't get any in store help …

I have been coming to this location since I have moved to Calgary which has been 1 year now and Amber and Logan are amazing. They provide the best recommendations. If you come to this location and are unsure what to get, ask for Amber and Logan. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
