Paid $25 for an Eton Mess $12.90 for the Eton Mess $12.10 for the delivery (Uber Eats) Had no strawberries, cream, raspberry sauce, or even the icecream that I chose (strawberry) as it came with vanilla. I ordered for my friend in Brisbane as I'm 15 hours away from them, was meant to be something special for them, a small treat to cheer them up. Honestly should have just stuck with McDonalds strawberry Sunday. I called to see what had went wrong, I realised that I wasn't going to get an explanation as English is not spoken well here however after repeating myself a few times nicely I was told they had 'someone new training', I doubt whether this has any truth to it, sounds like a bit more than anything as simple as a new staff member... $25 for two small scoops of vanilla ice cream to my friend was very disappointing, especially as I cannot be refunded the full amount from Uber Eats. I hope this business is taken of Uber eats and/or closed as you cannot sell just vanilla ice cream as an alternative to replace your entire menu?? Not to mention the embarassment when my friend told me what he had received, I hope he realises that it was your stuff up and that I'm not cheap.

The signs in the window and the flyers on the counter clearly say "Any Scoop $3" . We ordered 4 scoops. when we went to pay, we were told it was $15.90. I questioned the price and as told that is was their promo scoop for kids. So we were charged their normal price for 2 scoops and then $3 for the tiny kids scoops. I pointed out that no where on the flyer or on the sign did it say kids scoop only. I said it was mis leading and false advertising, which she took no notice of and charged full price. I told her that I would complain to which she shrugged. I then wrote to "Sweet Republick" on their contact us page of their website and got no response to either of the 2 emails sent. Will certainly not be returning. The ice cream itself was very average and the freezer was full of ice, it needs a defrost so that the ice cream can harden properly.

Thought we’d give Sweet Republick a try tonight thinking, ‘surely it’s not as bad as the reviews say’. It was that bad. Ordered two of the chocolate brownies. Asked for cookies and cream ice cream and was told they don’t have any. Asked for cookie dough and was told they don’t have that either and that the names on the cabinet don’t line up with the flavours. In the end I just settled with Vanilla, because they only seemed to have chocolate and vanilla. When it came out, it wasn’t even vanilla, it was macadamia! lucky I didn’t have a nut allergy! Also only came with one brownie per serve, not two as per the menu. All in all, just a bizarre experience of a dessert place that makes very little effort to offer the basics of their own menu. pretty poor. Ordered from here twice now and both times the orders aren't what they are meant to be. The first time ordered churros takeaway (we waited as they made it). Firstly they overcharged us by a dollar which I realised in the car. No big deal but still an error. Next all the ice cream was melted and there was no strawberries which were meant to he included. The next time we thought we'd give it another go as we felt like dessert and they were on doordash. Ordered the churro sundae. Nothing like the picture. It has maybe half a churro chopped up in it, no cherry of anything Included like the description mentioned. Was really just ice cream. Proceed with caution and check everything before you leave the place and when you pay.

I have ordered over using Uber eats and receive the wrong order. For example receiving the wrong flavour of ice-cream, I understand if a flavour is out of stock but the management of this is quite unprofessional. It would be much better if there was stricter regulation of availability over the uber eats app or some kind of communication with the customer. On top of that I order a tub of ice-cream and only receive 3 small scoops, for $16 which is very overpriced. The ice-cream itself is ok, however tastes as if it has defrosted and reforested multiple times.

I came to sweet republik on a somewhat chilly but pleasant evening, looking to satisfy an extreme and debilitating ice cream craving. Unfortunately I was met with the smallest scoop of ice cream in existence and heinous customer service. I really expected more as it’s not hard to disappoint me when it comes to ice cream. I would have rather driven wasabi covered spoons into my eye sockets and scooped them out. Would have been bigger than my ice cream scoop too. Heartbroken. I wish there was an option to give zero stars.

My husband and I went there tonight and were ignored for at least first five minutes. My husband had the staff tell him as they were making his order there's no strawberries then halfway through mine no chocolate sauce. If I was told before ordering I would choose something else. There were only two tables available inside at 8pm on a Saturday and staff were packing away tables making the atmosphere uncomfortable. Closing time was 9.30.

Just received our order for 2 x Rocky Road sundaes. The ice cream didn’t taste like the selections we chose, the Turkish delight and marshmallows were missing for both sundaes. We did request extra mnm’s on one, however, got it on both. Wish we read the reviews before ordering, because this was disappointing. Will never order from here again, or recommend it.

Ordered an Eton Mess (Strawberries, ice cream, meringue and a cherry). Received two scoops of bubblegum ice cream, no meringue, no cherry and a note that there was no strawberries. Essentially I paid $11 for two small scoops of bubblegum ice cream. We won't be ordering from here again. It's a shame because the area needs a good dessert store.

Have been here twice now. First time didn’t have any of the ice cream flavours my child wanted (bubblegum or fairy floss). Second time the eftpos machine was not working. We won’t bother trying for a third time.

Ordered on uber eats missing a $15 waffle and ice cream, large thick shake was smaller than a pupaccino and churros were burnt and disgusting. DO NOT GO HERE!

This place is hopeless. Why would you even offer delivery your staff didn’t even know that the order came through? My customer now got cold food and melted deserts. H-O-P-E-L-E-S-S

Yummy ice-cream and friendly service. Would have rated higher except they used strawberry topping instead of raspberry coulis despite coulis being in the dessert ingredients.

I ordered the oozy chocolate mud cake and got a cut up piece of Woolworths cake. Not impressed.

Poor quality ice cream and terrible value for money.

Ordered twice here thru uber eats. Never again.
