Today without a word but a touch of just styling And braiding my special needs younger cousin today she slayed and delivered once again. I trust her professional over trends anytime. She is honest and will tell you what works, what you need, and how to maintain healthy hair. She has a one stop shop! You need hair? She got it! You need jewelry? She got it! You need bonnets? She got you covered! Old school but wise and hip to all the generations that come! That smile when you come and leave is genuine. If u ask her to keep you in her prayers as well as those talented hands!!! You save! I wouldn’t trust a better woman! Spread the word… that she is worth every dollar n when she is done it was quick n u felt she just got started!!! Seasoned and talent! A wonderful marriage I rate her 10 plus!

That place is NOT professional standards at all, it’s very unorganized and the owner Mrs Sweeting is extremely rude and unprofessional . I scheduled an appointment weeks in advanced with her and come the day of my appointment time she tells me she can’t do my hair because she’s doing braids and will not be able to get to until 4hrs later. Like ok I set an appointment with you and now I have to wait 4hrs I can’t get my hair done because you decided to do braids at my appt slot. She was very nonchalant and non apologetic about it just rude and didn’t care it was her fault or mistake and told me it’s up to me if I want to come back. Don’t go there or put yourself in that position. Now I needed my hair done for an event and it didn’t happen.

This salon and beauty school is the place to be. 1st of many more visits to come was on yesterday 3-10-23. I love the vibe and Mrs. Sweeting is concerned with the health of your hair more than anything else. I love how she not only provides a great service, but educates you in what's best for your hair. The fact that she is an educator for the state says it all. She has a rich wealth of knowledge/professionalism. I strongly advise/encourage everyone to find this hidden treasure and hold on to it for dear life. Her credentials says it all for me, as opposed to spending money with amateurs whose focus might only be monetary. If we do the right thing, your name precedes you. Thank you Mrs. Sweeting. I have to start out by saying FANTASTIC. This was the best investment I made all 2019. The way that she spoke during this class was phenomenal. I took the 16 Hour Health & Wellness course with Mrs. Sweeting’s school. This was a great experience for me because she made the information very understandable. Mrs. Sweeting has a very great personality and she is MOST OF ALL professional. I really look forward to attending her cosmetology school this year coming 2020! Not only did Mrs. Sweeting teach the Health & Wellness course but also Taught me GREAT etiquette tips for my clients and my business. She is not only a teacher but a TRUE MOTIVATOR! If I could give her a zero I would. When we talked on the phone she told me 70 dollars and her website also said 70. I was getting a silk press. We get there she burns me multiple times. Then says that it is 80 dollars. She hands me this dry erase board with a drawn on 80 and says it been like that since she started, even though her website and what she said in the phone was seventy dollars. Today j washed my hair to find heat damage. During the duration of my hair being straight I didn’t put much heat and curled it twice, using heat protection both times. About 1/8 of my hair has heat damage. If you love your curls don’t go to this woman, she will kill them.

I've been going to Mrs. Sweetings for nearly 6 years now and I have never had a single complaint about my hair. I typically get her box braiding services when I go see her, but I have previously gotten her silk presses as well. She braids quickly, but neat. She gets your head good and clean during washes and conditioning. And her prices are beyond reasonable for the services she offers, the experience she has, and expertise she holds. Anyone in the Nashville area (or even the greater middle Tennessee area) should go to Mrs. Sweetings for their hair styling and service needs. She will get you right, I promise that.

I've been a client of Sweeting's for over 20 years. I've followed her, because not everyone can do natural hair, or even press hair properly. I've also had some medical issues and not everyone may give you proper advise when it comes to your hair. Ok im revising my statement after 3 visits. Lady Sweeting can braid like an expert. Clean and neat. Her feed in weave technique is meticulous . She is a realist bc she is from New York. Meaning you bring her a hair style, she lets you know if it’s possible so you don’t get your hopes up high. She is creative with a great technique to complete the hair styles we imagine up lol! My only regret is she doesn’t have a salon in my hood.

Every time I stepped foot in the school, I learned something new and exciting. She is going to teach you all aspects of the hair business. Before coming to this school, I could only do cornrows, and Mrs. Sweeting has taught me so much more in such a short period of time. I plan on taking continued education classes with her too. She's amazing.

Made an appointment for 3pm to get my haircut and was still waiting at 345pm so i left.. i called a few days later to check the prices on braids and the owner was loud talking to the people in the background.. I only wanted to do business with this company because it claims to be a "natural shop" but the unprofessionalism is ridiculous.

I took Ms. Sweeting natural hair course it changed my life!!! I thank God for her every time I have to do my own hair. The course taught me to do every kind of braid. I just completed Mrs. Sweetings online 16 Hour Health, Hygiene, and Sanitation course. I had a great experience! The lessons were easy to follow and Mrs. Sweeting uses real examples to help understand better. I do recommend you order the suggested textbook to help!
